I was sceptical to start but: reception super friendly and helpfull. Room was super clean, suitably equipped, bed comfortable and the bathroom (super important) CLEAN and spacious (super efficient space/comfort design). Value for money.

« Missed service and bad excuses »

I requested someone to have a look at the shower as it was not fully OK. This was apparently done over the day. However when I came back in the evening the dustbin was not emptied, the bed was not done and the shower was not cleaned (the shower was soiled due to the work). When I mentioned it at the reception the lady looked at a booklet to see what happened and she pushed back indicating the 'do not disturb' card was hanging on my door. This was not true at all (as a proof, someone entered it to repair the shower!). The receptionist proposed that I change room to get a cleaned one for the 2nd night, which was a fair proposal that I however refused as the burden was then on me to move my stuff. So my point is : it's ok to miss a service but please no false excuses.

« Good location »

Ibis is in convenient location for my work in Geneva. It is quite expensive, though, and a shame that there is no longer a restaurant there in the evenings. This was always very welcome. The food snacks offered at the bar were not great. My room was comfortable and importantly, quiet.

All was fine (as usual). One remark : I had asked for a "garden facing" room which I got. It was on the ground floor however - close to the kitchen. This was noisy early in the morning - next time I will specify that I'd like a room further away from the kitchen.

« acceptable for a few days »

The hotel is clean, however everything seems old about the room, there is no possibility of oppening the windows, during summer you cannot close for good that air condition, there are no socket adaptors, the breakfast is always the same for 2 years now (same type of cheese, meat thing, yogurt, egs) - the lack of diversity is incredible. To note though, the personnel is always very nice and helpful :)

I regret our buffet is still not up to your expectations. Concerning the windows, please be informed this hotel is built according to ecological standards MINERGIE© to ensure maximum comfort using minimal resources. The air in your room is permanently renewed and heated or cooled. The opening of the window affects the operation of ventilation and causes significant loss of energy, this is why there is no handle on the window. In the meantime, I am very pleased that you highlighted the helpfulness of our team. « In line with expectations, as it is not my first trip here, though with some shortcomings compared to my previous visits. »

Overall rooming experience was ok, as expected. However, compared to my previous visits, i feel that the quality of breakfast choice has been lower, while the closure of the restaurant in the evening was an unpleasant surprise. It has been very helpful after a day in the office to have a place where you could get quick and good food very conveniently.
