« Basic but clean »

The staff were friendly but the rooms basic. The shower ran a mixture of temperatures and was very clogged up so jets flying in all directions. The bed was badly made with an ill-fitting sheet exposing a very worn mattress. The pillows are very uncomfortable - I would liken them to sleeping on a house brick! Other than that the room was clean and habitable. Shame about plastic spoons! The shower room/pod is a great idea but the step up is lethal.

« A 5 star 3 star hotel »

The Ibis Queen's Quarter exceeded our expectations and I would not hesitate to recommend it. The staff were excellent and the room was well appointed and a good size. While room service is not officially available, with the assistance of Rosa, we were able to order some very good food and eat it in our room together with a decent bottle of reasonably priced wine from the bar.

« Frriendly, helpful staff, excellent location+comfortable beds. »

As above; and the room was quiet, as requested. However, as I wrote after my previous visit, those soap dispensers are awfully difficult to use.

« Please and good night »

Fine but the air conditioning was a bit loud and did not seem to get that warm. But maybe did not have it on long enough. Also hate having a picture hanging over top of bed. Always afraid it will fall down. Found room a bit small. Everyone very helpful in reception. I did have a quiet room which had asked for. But as this cannot be guaranteed not sure if I would return. Hotel in a busy street. Normally Ibis is good value for money but as I got a room when few left it was a high rate - too high for the hotel in my view.

« Very good experience, but overpriced. »

The experience in staying there was fantastic. The room was perfectly clean, all the staff was very nice with me, the region around the hotel was very good and calm. The location of the hotel is very good and easy to find. The only thing that doesn't fit with the overall experience is the price. £120 for one night is very expensive for being out of a high season.

Room was clean but could hear doors slamming from other guests. Toilet area too small and compact. Bed v comfortable though and staff friendly.

« Great stay during Culture Night »

I stayed here during Culture Night, and the Hotel was really nice and quiet although in a great location. The room was really very clean and bright and comfortable. Basic, but everything one needs is provided, including a nice shower and a comfortable bed. The staff were absolutely lovely. They could not have been nicer. Overall, I had a really good experience. The only thing was the price. I think 115 excluding breakfast was too much. However, this may have been due to Culture Night?

« Great stay near the uni, but needs polish »

I checked in easily and the front desk agent was amazing. I later attempted to eat dinner at the café, but was unsure of how to place my order, so I ended up going somewhere else. When I checked out, it seemed like it was a minor hassle to the front desk agent Sunday morning

« Great welcome to Belfast but some improvements required »

Great location and really friendly and welcoming staff. Reasonably quiet but some annoying external noise for example reversing vehicles with an incredibly loud reverse alarm and then emptying bottle banks - why can't this be done when people have gone to work as opposed to late evening? The room was clean and well presented although the air conditioning could do with servicing as when set at 16 degrees it should be like a fridge but it was making the room warmer! The texture of pillows needs looking at as typical of most hotels they seem to think sleeping with your head on a brick is comfortable - be assured, it isn't!

« Nice stay »

Room was clean and had all that was needed, the only negative in the room was the shower which kept going scalding hot then freezing cold and no matter how I tried it would not regulate. There was also a lot of door slamming and street noise through the night so take ear plugs if your a light sleeper. Staff were friendly and nothing was too much of a problem. Parking was on the street but luckily we didn't have a problem and got parked outside the hotel. Lots of lovely eating places around and about a 20 min walk into town. All in all a comfortable stay.

« 30th birthday party »

This stay was brought for a couple who were due to go to a party. The service of the reception staff was excellent and extremely friendly. It is disappointing that Ibis don't include breakfast in the price as the hotel next door do and the price was only £6.00 more for a couple to stay.

« Very helpful and friendly staff »

Lovely staff. The room seemed a bit basic even in comparison to a premium inn. Would of preferred to be able to lock the bathroom door and it not be echoing when someone was in there (I appreciate the caravan style is easier to maintain)

« Great staff and good ambience in hotel combined with great location made for a lovely sTay. »

Found staff to be really hospitable and helpful. Great customer service. Room was very clean, bed comfortable but towels a little worn out and the pillows are very hard. We had issue with the shower temperature but after alerting staff it was fixed.

« Noisy boiler kept me awake! »

We were given a room on the sixth floor. Had to move in the middle of the night to the second floor. The noise of the boiler on the roof made it impossible to sleep in the top floor room. The second floor room was cold - no carpets. The shower was cold - apparently the hot water doesn't filter down to the lower floors! This is because the boiler is on the roof. No room service. Day staff are friendly. The night porter wasn't helpful. He stood by and watched me and my daughter struggle to carry our bags from one room to another in the middle of the night. The bathroom was stark. The shower leaked in to the rest of the bathroom - so the floor was soaked. The good news is that breakfast is served until 12pm at the weekend so you can have a lie in.
