Everything is fine for budget hotel except for 2 things: 1) it is overpriced fora hotel 120km fromParis 2) breakfast was fine but there was no meet products at all (no ham, no sausage no anything like that), which is unusual for the price required

Had to re-book at different hotel in the Group and was told by IBIS staff a refund would be issued for this booking as I had not arrived by 6pm. Still waiting weeks after promise for that refund to arrive despite an official complaint was sent! Poor attention to detail.

Ibis Budget Roye is very convenient for the autoroute and the staff are very pleasant, but the rooms are small! I've stayed there before, but noticed it more this time as I was in a 2-person rather than a 3-person room.

the hotel feels old, it smells of cig smoke. the bathroom design is very poor with the shower and sink in the bedroom, with a separate toilet so not good for friends sharing a room. the breakfast was not as good as the hotel we had stayed in the previous day. the receptionist spoke no English and there was nothing to recommend a restaurant nearby. so we ended up in McD.

There is only one thing I did not like’ was the fact I had to go to the machine to get the code to enter the park8ng. It would be great (and safer) to give the code when we place a booking avoiding to get out of the car late.

Having arrived late we were pleased to find that the checking in was very simple. Don't be daunted by the automatic check in system, it was available in many different languages and was extremely easy to use. The hotel itself was just perfect for an overnight stop. Breakfast was plentiful and the staff happy to get more if required.

Smelly and insufficient basics

Not enough pillows provided. Because we arrived after any humans were in attendance I had to sleep with towels stuffed inside a pillow case, dreadful. The room smelt of cigarettes as did the rest of the hotel. Only saving grace was lovely lady serving breakfast.

Rooms were very basic, beds very simple, shower just about usable. Receptionist wins the award for the most grumpy, ever.

Too hot no air

Slept in car as there was no air in the room. Also all the fire exits were open meaning that there was no security and I felt unsafe

Stayed en-route to Disneyland as driving from UK and it is located on the A1 from Calais to Paris. Very cheap, paid €36 for one night for four people. Room incredibly basic. Reminiscent of a hostel. As it is a budget hotel, the scores reflect that. There was zero service as we encountered no staff whilst staying. The only reason I would not stay here again was due to the heat. I know it’s a budget hotel so I didn’t expect air con, but a small fan would have been nice to circulate some air around the room. I actually spent 2 hours sleeping in the car to cool down. I would not stay again and would most likely find a Holiday In or something a bit more expensive to ensure general comfort. My score may have been different if not staying in the summer.The only cleanliness issue was the one of the mattresses wasn’t covered with the sheet properly and under closer inspection I found three large black stains. The shower leads straight into the room, so if you’re staying with friends, make sure you’re comfortable with seeing them walk out of the shower. And the toilet was a cubicl in the corner with no lock.
