« Ok for an overnight stay »

Rooms were very basic, beds very simple, shower just about usable. Receptionist wins the award for the most grumpy, ever.

« Too hot no air »

Slept in car as there was no air in the room. Also all the fire exits were open meaning that there was no security and I felt unsafe

« You get what you pay for »

Stayed en-route to Disneyland as driving from UK and it is located on the A1 from Calais to Paris. Very cheap, paid €36 for one night for four people. Room incredibly basic. Reminiscent of a hostel. As it is a budget hotel, the scores reflect that. There was zero service as we encountered no staff whilst staying. The only reason I would not stay here again was due to the heat. I know it’s a budget hotel so I didn’t expect air con, but a small fan would have been nice to circulate some air around the room. I actually spent 2 hours sleeping in the car to cool down. I would not stay again and would most likely find a Holiday In or something a bit more expensive to ensure general comfort. My score may have been different if not staying in the summer.The only cleanliness issue was the one of the mattresses wasn’t covered with the sheet properly and under closer inspection I found three large black stains. The shower leads straight into the room, so if you’re staying with friends, make sure you’re comfortable with seeing them walk out of the shower. And the toilet was a cubicl in the corner with no lock.

Filthy room, terrible breakfast, no toilet paper, bedding smelly, floor sticky and dirty, cobwebs all over ceiling, spiders and moths on walls. Worst hotel I've ever stayed in!

Convenient close to the highway but we couldn’t open the window because of the noise. Our non-smoking bedroom had a very nasty cigarette smell in the walls.

The room and breakfast meet all our needs however, there were lots of cobwebs around the ceiling of the room. It was also difficult to find, tucked away in the back of the industrial area.

« Bug infested unhelpful staff »

We arrived and the room was infested with bugs. Myself and family were itching within seconds and there was no way I was going to let my 2 and 4 year old children spend the night. I asked the receptionist to switch rooms which he would not do and said there was no alternative. I therefore had to book another room at a hotel 50milea away. All this after a long drive from UK.

Dirty room and bathroom, no sound insulation, terrible smell at reception floor, nobody reads your wishes while and after reservation, Accor member means nothing, too much overpriced, never return to it

Bad night sleep due to uncomfortable pillows and a broken and squeaky bed. Also there was a hole in the floor near the bed. Breakfast wasn’t up to standard and I was extremely disappointed with the selection on offer.

« It was a pleasant stay for a break in our journey and allowed us to get a good night's rest »

We arrived quite late but found access good and our room was clean and convenient as it included a washroom for our use rather that going out into the corridor during the night to the toilet. Also we were able to wash and prepare for the onward journey refreshed.
