My stay was OK but 2 issues arose: I have an Accor card. I have stayed at Novotel Miami, Novotel Ploenchit, Ibis Soi 4 x 2, Mercure Pattya all this year and they all provided the following : 1. Tickets for free beer. 2. Wifi which worked well. Ibis at Hua Hin did not provide tickets for free beer even though every other Accot Hotel did provide. Ibis wifi was very poor and stopped me being able to undertake business work. Ever time I laid my phone down it was disconnecting and so unless I was holding the phone permanantly I would miss all contacts on buisiness or personal issues. It was horrible.

I arrived in Ibis Hua Hin around 8pm after a 6-hour road trip from Pattaya and guess how the staffs in your hotel greeted me and my family? They asked us to bring all our luggages by ourselves to our rooms in 6th floor because they dont have room boy (they said so), but as far as i could see, there are 2 guys just moving around in the receptionist and not even a single help was given to us. Oh and not even a single apology also. Secondly, i just knew that only gold member above can get a dental kit. I have been staying in Ibis hotels and other accor group brands in Europe, Asia, and Australia-NZ and this was the first time the hotel didnt provide a dental kit for me because my membership is silver. I dont know whether this is a policy of the hotel or the staffs made it up, but this is really terrible! The way your staffs explained it and the policy itself combined with the first problem are the worst hospitality disasters. Oh there is still one problem. After I checked out, your receptionist (i forget the name) made me go up to my room again because she said 1 coffee spoon was gone and I found it on the toilet in my room. Well, i booked 3 rooms and 2 of them are connecting rooms, so I think maybe a housekeep retraining will be nice so that they know they should check all the rooms just in case some items are moved within these rooms. Oh and again, not even a single apology mentioned to us. I gave 3 points for my stay only because there is a guy in restaurant name Saran K who willingly helped to lend me a complete plates and cutlery. Please share my sincere thank you to him. Without Saran K, i dont even think a one star is worth for the services provided to me and my family in Ibis Hua Hin. I will definitely not be coming back, nor even recommend this hotel to my enemy.

Receptionist are not friendly, Food taste is not that good and plate mat is so bad smell. Sound in room corridor is such a disturb sleeping time.

Good Point - Quick check in and check out - Quick response from request Weak Point - I reserved for 3 ppl (2 adults+1 child) but got all accommodation only 2, pillow, towels, water. I have to request. - Smoking smell in the walk way to my room. - Got info from staff that have car service among hotel and parking lot. But in fact hotel haves only 1 car, if car go to the city, no car to service customer for parking lot.

My experience was not that good. The lady in the reception was very rude. She told me that I have been charged 100baht because they found some stains in a towel in the room but when I told her that it is just makeup and that can be washed off, she suggested me to go upstairs and wash the towel by myself. I was a guest of the hotel not a housekeeper that I go upstairs and wash the hotel towels. I was shocked because it was my 6th time visit in Thailand and I have stayed in so many hotels but never found this kind of behaviour from any hotel staffs. Please work on this. Thank you.

Ibis Hua Hin is a clean hotel with friendly, efficient staff. The pool was medium size with sufficient surrounding seating - some days we had the pool to ourselves. Beach access was only a few minutes walk down the side laneway. The transfer facility to Blueport, Market Village and Clock Tower was an added bonus. The breakfast was basic but sufficient to start the day with juice, coffee, pastries, cereal, fruit, eggs & some local dishes. Only 5 min walk to Tamarind markets (Thur, Fri, Sat & Sun) and Ciccada market next to Tamarind Fri, Sat & Sun. Best value for money and I would highly recommend this hotel for a Hua Hin getaway.
