Ibis Hua Hin is a clean hotel with friendly, efficient staff. The pool was medium size with sufficient surrounding seating - some days we had the pool to ourselves. Beach access was only a few minutes walk down the side laneway. The transfer facility to Blueport, Market Village and Clock Tower was an added bonus. The breakfast was basic but sufficient to start the day with juice, coffee, pastries, cereal, fruit, eggs & some local dishes. Only 5 min walk to Tamarind markets (Thur, Fri, Sat & Sun) and Ciccada market next to Tamarind Fri, Sat & Sun. Best value for money and I would highly recommend this hotel for a Hua Hin getaway.

It started at the check-in counter, as my family and I arrived at the hotel, the welcome from the staff was nice BUT the lady (not so young) at the reception was a bit harsh with my girlfriend. We booked through booking.com and I've been working as a receptionist at a resort in my past, so I do know there are many ways to confirm a check-in. The lady at the receptionist asked the booked name... My girlfriend gave her name in English and Thai but the receptionist still confirms that there is no booking and she started to have an pissed look on her face not willing to help so I stepped in and showed her the booking code that was already in front of her. Voila! it was booked by us but with my girlfriend's Facebook name. The receptionist wasn't happy about this, (I DON'T KNOW WHY) she looked pissed but guess what... she greeted my father in a very good way and specifically told him "พักผ่อนอย่างมีความสุขนะคะคุณพ่อ"/"Have a great stay Mr. (father)" with a smile from nowhere! We didn't get any info about our rooms such as how to use the keycard, floor number, etc. but she told us what is prohibited in the rooms though. Thanks to the housemaid who was in front of our rooms and helped my parents use the keycard because I was carrying too much baggages. The security guards are very friendly and we received great service from them.

smooth check-in and check -out good location ,5 minute walk to beach and 15 minute walk can reach blueport shopping mall. hotel also provide free shuttle to some places. house keeping maybe a bit careless because when I first enter my room , still have some receipt inside the rubbish bin

Very satisfied with the stay and the hospitality shown by the staff. Location was good and the free shuttle to various places were a plus. However we would prefer if the hotel could improve in these areas : 1) breakfast was a hit-and-missed affair. Choices were boring and limited. Speed of replenishing the dishes were also slow. 2) while the free shuttle to various places was a plus, the fact it could only do a drop-off and not pick-up is puzzling. The traffic around those places are not that heavy that it will obstruct traffic. But kudos to the hotel for shuttling guests to the carpark opposite the hotel even when it’s within walking distance.

I have no problem with the hotel. Actually it is good and fulfill my requirements such as clean room, professional personnel ( they know when to approach the quest and keep proper distance so as not to invade privacy), convenient restroom ( for budget friendly hotel), various kinds of foods etc. In general, I like ( express from my ground of traveling a lot, SRV 8 years, Australia 2 months, Philippine two and a half years, Singapore 1 month etc. The reason for my lost contacting with the Le Club Accor Hotel ( Ibis hotel) because of the double standard treat to me. I with my friends ( totally 4 person 2rooms) checked in at the Novotel ( Clark Quey) , Singapore. The hotel personnel told me to deposit the cash ( he said it was a must), on the contrary the other guest ( from some European countries) just showed the members card (Le Club Accor Hotel card ) which was the same card I presented, no cash deposit needed, I threw away the card because it was useless for discrimination treated like this (7 years), I was told that all staff ( in Bangkok) changed so I made a u- turn to check in. From what happened to me in Singapore as aforementioned, there were 3 personnels of Le Club Accor Hotel ‘s staff contacted me ( 3 times at approximately interval 1-1.5 years) I told the story not even a person could clarify this point.

First day the reception seem don't want to talk or give any information and don't have welcome smile. And we don't get water everyday even if we not yet drink all water it doesn't mean we don't need new water right? Parking area in hotel full every night so have to park a car in extra area but have to walk because hotel car can service only Saturday and Sunday. thank for listen my complain. We look forward to stay here again and hope to get warm welcome from Ibis huahin. Sincerely
