« An unexpected awful experience »

An awfully disappointed check-in experience. The 3 female front office agents were unprofessional and extremely rude. They did not greet us and instead of saying:"May I have your passport for check in please?", they demanded our pasaport by saying:"Pasaports." She was also impatience when I could not hear clearly and had to ask her again for the things she wanted. Then the 2 female agents kept conversing with each other in Thai infront of us while we were waiting to be check in. No smile at all...think they had forgotten the credo of Ibis(The Smile Team) and how to smile. When we came back from dinner amd requested for wake up call for our 5 rooms. Another agent who served us just said.."Room." instead of saying :"May i have the room numbers please?". She was very impatience when i could not hear clearly as i have some hearing problem. Then they made us signed a form and kept repeating;"No durians." We were like questioning ourselves since when had we bought durians and brought up to the hotel. The breakfast were terribly limited to the extend we had to eat the same things for 2 mornings. This was the worst experience I had ever had with the Accor brand.

The location is good and easy to find. This hotel have clean room, nice design, near shopping center and nightlife, friendly staff and strategic location. I really enjoyed to stay at the Ibis hotel Hua-Hin. Would consider staying here again and I will recommended this hotel to my friend.

The fo supervisor who checked us in, went way and beyond to ensure our comfortable stay. I really appreciate him, for making me feel the moment. I want to thank him personally but I think he was not working the next day. I think it's one of the best places to stay in Hua hin. Next time I visit Hua hin, I am definately staying at the property.

Hotel falling slightly under expectations.. Competition is upgrading faster in amenties and room size. Didn't really valued despite silver status. Welcome drink felt like a cheat (limited choice for silver.. coffee or tea or cold or water only!)

The hotel is sheer value for money. You do not need to look for any other hotel if you want an affordable stay, you will be exploring the hua hin area most of the time, will be looking for just a nice comfortable bed to relax, this is a perfect choice. The location is perfect as well, 10 mins walking from cicada and tamarind night markets, 7/11 and Tesco express just nearby and getting a public van or taxi is super easy plus it has a nice pool.

All good but the car parking seemed to be always full to overflowing. Motor bikes were crowding into the actual car parking spaces which seems an odd circumstance.

Ibis Hua Hin is a good option if staying in Hua Hin. It is not far from the centre of town and has a free pickup/ transfer vehicle at certain times into town and back. It has a pool at ground level and it is a very short walk to the beach away from Hua Hin beach. Very pleasant room with a small balcony. I would certainly stay again. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Somewhere to consider if you want a getaway from Bangkok.

Stayed 5 nights. Majority of the staff were friendly however a small number of staff were quite rude. Security staff outside hotel always friendly and professional. Room was clean but floor could of been cleaner. Carpet in hall way dirty. Breakfast was very good. Overall good hotel.

If I know right from the start, I wont even make a booking. The dog even sniffed my plastic bag which was full of foods. And the dog barked at me too! I didnt get a room with balcony. Or a pool view room. All my requests were unfulfilled. Pork is everywhere in the breakfast buffet spread.
