I have now stayed at the Novotel Platinum, Bangkok many times and would not stay at any other hotel. The facilities are excellent with good size rooms which are very well maintained and very clean. The general hotel facilities are excellent i.e. dining area, bar and pool area with a well equiped gym. The staff are excellent and all are very friendly. Having stayed on many occassions it is nice to be remembered when you return.

We have been staying with Novotel for most of our trips to Bangkok. Nice food, clean rooms and well located to major Malls. We left our luggage with the reception on our last while we went to do some last minute shopping, which we usually do. Upon our return, I approached one of the service staff at the reception to collect my luggage. He told us that we will have to queue up to collect our luggage. We fully understand that there is a need for verification for luggage collection. I asked the same staff once again if I can go ahead and bring my luggage to the front for him to verify while my partner join the queue. This male staff replied rudely for us to join the queue and gave us an inpatient and irritated expression. I was appalled and offended by this. There is no need nor grounds to show such bad attitude, especially serving in the front desk. We were disgusted by how badly we were treated despite asking nicely. If we wasn’t leaving for the airport, I would really have asked for the manager to lodge a formal complaint. This is the first time I have such a bad experience with Novotel. Bad attitude simply spoiled all the good things I have to say about this hotel.

I checked in online and requested an additional blanket but nothing has been done. The toilet wash hand basin is without a sink water stopper. It's missing since I checked in till 3 days. Housekeeping not bother to replace it. Breakfast, noodles no more and have to wait for 25 minutes to fill-up. The portion is just too small. Bed was sunken as poor quality bed. Bad lighting in the room.

Staffs were helpful and friendly. Room was good overall. Except on my 2nd nite where there was this urine smell coming from the bath area drainage. It lasted for a 20mins or so. But I was too tired to change room .

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel but was disappointed that my request for late check out was turn down and that my room aircon issues were not resolved. I have spoke to your staff at the lobby on 2 occasions and highlighted that the aircon in my room 1906 was faulty. The temperature that I set was 30 deg celsius and fan mode 1 but the air that came out was very cold and unbearable for my family. However, the air con was not fixed and neither did your staff suggest to change another room for me. I hope that you would take your guest feedback seriously.

We received great service but we would have like to taste great Thai desserts. There were however pad thai and thai noodle soup. Air con too cold for us. Compared to Novotel Siam Square we like the shopping and food around better. The staff more willing to interact with us. We had a very good favourable stay in experience at your hotel.

Heard some noise and suddenly Encounter staff trying to enter room during 2nd day of stay around 7am plus in the morning while we are still sleeping? Luckily door knob was lock. This is my 2nd time staying at novotel platinum. Its a pleasure as usual. With the skywalk linked to the hotel, getting to big c, & chitlom bts or central world is more bearable in the heat as the skywalk is sheltered. The hotel has free shuttle services that ferries guest to nearby malls like siam paragon. It has always been great to be back staying at novotel.

I arrived at midnite, and the staff on the first floor greet me and offer help to bring my luggage because The reception is on 6th floor. Check in process was smooth. Breakfast have many variances. I like the hotel's room which was modern and new. However, the wall was very thin and I could hear the guest next door speaking loudly. I also have to pay a connecting room charge. The airport to hotel return transfer was on a old Toyota and not new as indicated. There was limited variety of food on club.

The first time I stayed at the prestige hotel was that the birthday cake was not cleared in the hotel room. This time round, the toilet basin has a big hole without a stopper. Also, tooth brush was also not provided. The front desk counter was slow in serving the guests. When I reached the hotel, only one counter was opened. There is lack of customer experience at Novotel Hotel! Somehow felt that the standard has dropped dramatically. Overall experience can be explained by a sentence: Below expectation. Hope that something can be done to improve customer service. As a customer, I would definitely not want to pay the price for the sub-standard service rendered.
