« My first stay in Novotel Bangkok Platinum Pratunam »

The hotel is conveniently sited to Central World, Platinium and Pratunam area. The price is reasonable and the staffs there are friendly. The gym is well patronized though I find that the 2 treadmills are always occupied given the morning before 8am and evening after 5.30pm. I was invited to the lounge by a friend and though food there is limited, the staff takes the trouble to get you more if requested for.

« Back here for a second time because it’s good »

As it was my second time, I was clearly satisfied the first time round hence why I was back here. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I have nothing but praises for them. However, I do feel the buffet line could have different food Everyday for breakfast. It’s a big variety no doubt, but more could be changed everyday. Also do want to point out that on one of the day’s I was there, I had a diarrhoea a few hours after breakfast at the buffet. I hadn’t had anything to eat in between so it was either something in the food at the hotel or perhaps something from the night before.

Overall was pretty good. But it would have been better if your bike taxi service started earlier and had more often. It made it hard to get on especially if there is a lot or other guest using it. I selected this hotel because of this service but it needs to be improve. It made it not convenient

Booked this hotel as it was just right next to Platinum Mall and walking distance to Big C and Central World. Checked in online, thinking that room keys will be ready by the time I reached hotel but actually this service is very useless. Reception still have to copy our passport and all, so this aspect is just a waste of time and redundant. Room is always neat and clean, no doubt. Type of mattress provided for the bunk bed could be improved or changed, it was very hard and difficult to sleep on. Housekeeping service was only 80%. Hand and face towel wasn't replenished for the 2nd day for both rooms. Tissue was replenished but not placed into the compartment, we have to do it ourself. Breakfast spread was as great as usual, love the variety of food provided. Will still stay here still for the next trip.

Hotel is ok from reception to check in process and overall room tidiness to controls. But failure in washroom where at faults - failed mirror light and falling intermittent were fixed, while shower remained intermittent with cold and hot water. Possible improvements - additional english TV channels and promotion about the excellent restaurants/other hotel features.

1. Thank you for allowing early check in. One of the room was available. The other was not so was told to return at 2pm to collect the keys for the second room. 2. My daughter went to collect the keys around 2ish but there were some mixed up with the reception that the second room is not booked under my name and to wait while they get it sorted. It was finally sorted 30minutes later. 3. My feedback is this shouldn't have happened. Both rooms are booked under one reservation number and same name. It's very straight forward. 4. We asked for kids amenities for 2nd room but was rejected as we do not have children in that room. Im quite surprised as it was stated clearly that it comes with it for every family room when I booked it. We were asking for it cos the grandmothers would like to bring home as souvenir. Despite the above generally the experience was still fine.

I booked 2 rooms but only 1 was ready when we reached because we were slightly earlier. Given 2 rooms of different views and services. Room 1 (park facing): 1) daily biscuits + flower 2) thicker room slippers 3) weighing scales in bathroom 4) 1 shampoo + 2 conditioners without bathing foam 5) 4 bottles of water per day Room 2 (facing pratunum market) - noisy a) do not have items 1 to 3 b) 2 bottles of water per day c) room service tray left on table not cleared after daily room clearing d) bathrooms could be cleaner. Remove molds and dew Free amenities on laundry and credits should be made known to all staff or give vouchers. Called room services (very early tour departure) to ask if in room breakfast is free and was told yes. Delivery man told us not free, chargeable and lamented us to go down to have it at restaurant better because he was an hour late. Check in not smooth because cards are not working. No briefing on what's available and wheres the amenities though the hotel manager walked us to the rooms. Breakfast was satisfactory but clearing of plates and bowls is slow. Quite packed and food replenishment is not quick. Overall : location is good. Price steep for not meeting expectations in terms of cleanliness and facilities. My stay in Novotel Melbourne was fantastic.

This is my first time staying in Novotel Platinum Pratunam which was chosen base on online review. However, when we reach - realized basic stuff like bathroom slippers and body lotion were not provided. It took several calls and a long wait before the stuff were delivered to our room. The TV inside our cannot be switched off and technician has to be activated around 1am to change it. I have actually booked a room at your hotel again taking location into consideration as I will be visiting in 2 months time again but I'm now contemplating to change to other hotel

Pleasant stay for the birthday weekend However , check out as a disappointment as the team can’t locate my stay docket, had another guest by name of Alicia who had meal charges to my room and had to withhold my deposit and check out as they can’t reconcile the discrepancy despite my room being paid upfront No late check out offered either And end to end stay experience would have been expected for a returning member guest like myself , which I receive at Marriott and SPG
