Every time I travel to BKK, I choose to stay with Novotel Platinum. This time round, I had a HORRIBLE experience. I had to verbally request FIVE times for a bathroom scale, in addition to 2 times in writing (once upon reservation and once upon online check-in). One of the staff kept bringing up the luggage scale, and we told them it's the wrong one; we even showed them pictures of a bathroom scale and the Thai description, but still they did not understand. One of the staff also said that this hotel does not have a bathroom scale at all. The Pringles in the hotel room was already open and half-eaten on my arrival - I had to call TWICE to ask them to replace it with a new one. There was also no straw on the carton of apple juice in the minibar. There was no laundry bag. I had to request TWICE for a laundry bag, and because there was no bag, I told the staff that I would leave my dirty clothes on the bed for laundry service, but the housekeeping staff did not do my laundry; they simply refolded my clothes and left them on the chair. I called in advance at 10.44pm to request for a birthday cake for my guest to be delivered at 11.30pm (so that we can cut it at 12am), but it was 11.40pm and the cake was still not here - I called to check, and the staff told me he forgot! There was no toothbrush or shaver in the bathroom and I had to request. The staff in general were quite rude on the phone. I will probably stay with Amari or Intercontinental next time. Perhaps they will offer better service and experience.

The hotel was not able to live to its brand name, the rooms were not given as per the request. Also the lighting in the room was not working which was pointed out & was rectified the next day...was not a good experience..as 2 days were wasted in that.. Overall was not a pleasant experience

Reception staff is extremely helpful in our requests. Tried her best to give us rooms on the same floor for our convenience as we are traveling with friends. And also helped with our requests for single beds as my friend is a light sleeper. Saw her making multiple phone calls to arrange all these. Waiting for an hour later to get the 2nd room is worth the wait! Thank u for taking the extra miles for the guests!

This is the most disappointing stay with Novotel BKK. I’ve specially requested for 3 separate beds and extra pillows but none of my requests were delivered. Also my mum has to asked twice for a comb! The speed of the turndown service was unsatisfactory as well.

I had a good vacation in Bangkok with Novotel Platinum. This is the second times so I just giving 8 point because my room do not have toothpaste and and comp on the first night such as the first experience. I think your guys have to choose this hotel because they take place a nice location where you can shopping or discovery. In my view, they will have 9.5 point for a advantage location. I do not talk much about the staff or service because I used to stay a lot of Novotel hotels so they are the best choice if you are the person who is a fastidious customer like me.

I have been a hotelier for 25 years so I understand how tough it can be to manage queues and bottlenecks during peak service periods, yet your team managed to always give a warm friendly smile of acknowledgement. Their calm and friendly demeanour was enhanced by an impressive combination of preparedness and intuition - often anticipating requirements in advance and having the answer/action ready at their fingertips. I would particularly like to acknowledge the exceptional service from your Duty Manager Pratchakon, and Witoon in the restaurant. A special mention must also go to two teams: * the housekeeping staff who wished me such a bright and friendly "good morning" as I left my room each day, that I started each day with a smile on my face; * the entire team at the concierge desk, who coped with whatever was thrown their way (sometimes literally) with a laugh and a smile, and who did not let the chaos around them reduce the level of care, attention and hospitality they provided with each interaction

The overall stay was very nice with very accommodating staff and warm front desk persons. The concierge was also very helpful when we left our luggage because we arrived early and returned late afternoon. The girl who assisted us, not sure if Nom/Som is her name, managed to block me a room and for my friends at the same floor even though we checked in at around past 5PM already, and knowing that the hotel is running full. Very pleasant experience and near to everything. Appreciate the effort of everyone to make our stay wonderful.

Housekeeping dept seems to be very under-staffed. Our rooms are only cleaned very late in the afternoon on certain days. 1 of our rooms even had water dripping from the aircon. Check-in & Check-out also took very long time to complete. Overall standard had dropped over the years as we always stay in this hotel on our visits to Bangkok.

- Housekeeping not done on 1st day stay - Housekeeping was not done properly, did not replenish use bath lotion, did not throw away trash, did not replace towels after removing used towels - Overall service level drops as compared to my stays previously
