Bad : 1) I was not able to make any online booking via wwww.accorhotels.com or Accor Plus. I had to call Accor Call Center to make this booking as I was unsure why. I stayed around 80 to 150 nights with Accor annually and this is the first time I ever encountered this problem with this property throughout my 10 years with Accor Good : 1) Excellent Accor Plus Platinum benefits recognition. Benefits include welcome drink, welcome basket of fruits, a bottle of red wine, personalised hand written card from the GM Michael and complimentary afternoon tea from 2.30 PM onwards 2) Villa upgrade and the room is huge at around 288 square metres, with separate bathtub, standing shower. There is an outdoor courtyard with table and chair and sunbath chair 3) You can order a personalised BBQ in your villa and the package starts from RMB 1,388 4) There is no executive club lounge but you can have your afternoon tea at the 1919 Bar from 2.30 PM onwards till 6 PM. You will receive a complimentary set of platter which includes cakes, fruits, macaron etc with your afternoon tea 5) The quality of breakfast is good and extensive (compared to Intercontinental Hotel Lijiang which was pathetic) 6) There is a buggy service to send you to and fro your villa 7) Complimentary horse cart ride to Shu He old town which is besides the hotel but requires 30 minutes advance booking. The hotel also provides complimentary bicycle and cycling map 8) Accor Plus dining benefits apply and this is a real deal (50% discount for 2 persons). The quality of the food in the Chinese restaurant is the best comparing with the rest of the restaurants during my 1 week stay in Lijiang 9) Great service especially from front desk personnel Miss Xi, Miss Lena from 1919 Bar and Miss Tina whom I met as she was doing her rounds throughout the hotel to ensure that customers are happy with their service. The GM Mr Michael can be seen walking the hotel everyday throughout my 4 days stay. This is epitome of what customer service is all about 10) The hotel exceeded my expectation. Normally, I have low expectation of Accor properties compared to Starwood and Marriott which I am also a Platinum Elite member. I stay around 80 to 150 nights with Accor and I can tell you that this is a well-managed property and I rank them at the top amongst Accor properties. All the staffs look happy and they will greet you whenever they walked past you. They are extremely service oriented and quick to resolve any issue promptly. I would like to applaud the Management and the Team for a job well done. The Management Team goes around checking on the customer to ensure a high level of satisfaction compared to other hotels in China where you do not see their Management personnel. I highly recommend this hotel and I will return if I ever return to Lijiang. I rate my stay to be 9 out of 10 and I do not have any issue during my stay. This contrasts with the latter part of my Lijiang trip where I moved to Intercontinental Hotel Lijiang and the experience was poor and pathetic (Rate Intercontinental Hotel Lijiang at 3 out of 10).

The staff is exceptional professional and friendly. Can’t do enough for the guests. They all deserve medals! The reason why we don’t rate the excperience 10, is the lack of maintenance on the outside area of the villa. It was dirty, run down, and there were trash like cans, papers, and cigarettebutts all over the ground. The hot tub and water pool was dirty and filled with algae. The stone deck was also very dirty, dead plants And leaves all over. This could easily been avoided by an hour or so cleaning and gardening. Overall,perfect experience and we will recommend this place

We stay at the villas. Here are my main complains: (1) The walkway from the room to the wooden main gate was with poor lighting. There were gaps in between the bricks on the walk way. This resulted me fallen in between the bricks suffering really bad back and hip pain for many days taking strong pain killers and anti inflammayory medicines. I also need to see a doctor in Singapore for suspected hip and back fractures. (2) The room was with minimum furnishing, only one chair was provided. So it is not possible for 2 persons to watch TV at the same time. The position of the TV was also not condusive for watching. (3) The bed was raised on a platform (supposed to be Tibetan style ?) But these platform resulted in numerous accidents during which our feet continuously hit at the platform. (4). A total of 10 ! pillows provided on our king sized bed. Some of which are really huge ! These are really wasteful and we have troubles finding space to keep them. (5) We have troubles finding dustbins too. These are only available in the common area. (6) The coffee makers are old ... it only worked once. (7). The bathroom area are shared by occupants from 2 bedroooms. But there was no lock in both the toilet and the bathroom so no privacy. (8) The wooden main gate is old and difficult to open and lock.

We enjoyed our stay at Pullman Lijiang Resort Hotel despite not having the best of luck with the weather. The staff were friendly and helpful and it was a nice gesture for the GM to greet us one morning at breakfast. The location is handy within walking distance to Shuhe old town and a short taxi/didi ride to Lijiang Old Town. The restaurant staff were excellent, remembering our coffee orders and preferred seats away from the crowd. We had a lovely view of Jade Dragon Snow mountain from our room the first evening we arrived and unfortunately it went into hiding for the next few days. Overall a great peaceful and leafy venue for a relaxing holiday. We were surprised at the lack of overseas guests and hope more people would experience this lovely accommodation.

The sliding doors are broken and we booked four rooms, but 2 of them have issues with air condition units when we entered the room. The bath tub is old and not well cleaned in 1216. The staff in Canteen are helpful. Some hard working people, but the room condition and cleaning needs a lot of improvement.

First time in Accor. Very positive exp. Enjoyed free upgrade and nice services. Definitely will come back. Only thing to point out is details. If details like villa cleanness can be improved, then the exp will be a 10 instead of 9. But still, very nice already. Ps, like to see your GM mingle more with Chinese clients.

Bed was unusually soft and gave me a back ache. And it creaks. Getting the lights I want switched on was a nightly struggle. Switch design is bad. Nice to have a humidifier in the room, but it'll be even better if it's a bigger volume. The cords were tied up dead so I couldn't move it much.

During my stay , i’d Altitude sickness, the front desk manager Mike & the concierge Super was very helpful & attentive . Thanks to them , my family & I had an enjoying stay . Everything in the resorts is fine , if the toilet seat could be heated , that would be perfect ... overall a very nice stay . Thank you .

Perfection. Only minor glitch of not switching on the heater during the first night when Lijiang was mega cold n snowing in the mountain. Lol. Spa is grand but slightly not well maintained perhaps due to the off peak season.
