To be frank, I had a stay with Pullman Lijiang this spring.If memory serves me well,they made some mistakes last time.But this time,they improved a lot in guest experience. Everything about this hotel is incredible. From the moment you check in or from the moment you arrive!Every single member of the Pullman staff treats their job as if it's an honor to be a part of a wonderful family. The standard of luxury is in no way compromised by the intimacy and warmth you'll experience here- it's only accentuated by it. The perfect service and facilities impressed me so much. I have to send best regards and the most sincere gratitude to all the outstanding staff in Pullman Lijiang. At the same time,I would gave my special thank to an admirable manger-Tina, whom paid attention to my whole trip during this stay. Thanks to Tina,she arranged the room and switched on the air conditioning/underfloor heating in advance.We felt so warm when we walk in the room while it was a little bit cold outside. It’s undeniable that Pullman Lijiang enhanced its performance in all respects ,delicious beverages,passionate service,warm concierge,everything is perfect-simply INCOMPARABLE!I was blown away, even the package of bottled water have print their own logo.Generally speaking,only the luxury category hotels have awareness and cost budgeting to show their logo on every corner. I really appreciate that the managers’ action and decision. Brand effect and recognition are reinforced unconsciously. A little change makes big difference. In Pullman Lijiang,there are no strangers here,only friends that haven’t met yet. Just for this stay,Pullman lijiang is the top one among the hotel in Lijiang.Even better than InterContinental,Aman,Banyan Tree and Grand Hyatt. I didn’t think I‘ll ever stay anywhere else in Lijiang even considering looking into the residence options here. It‘s THAT perfect!

After the change of my schedule, I had no reservation to return Lijiang and stay at this excellent hotel again. I am happy to meet those warmest staff and feel like to reunion with my best friends. My husband and I stayed in room 1218 from 14th to 18th Oct. The room felt "tired" and used. The mattress was lumpy and not supportive. Silicon liner was peeling off the shower door and I could see cobwebs on the top left corner of room when lying face up on the bed. All in all it did not feel like a 5 star resort from the room's view point. However your staff is excellent! especially the kind and attentive people in the restaurant/café. they are superb! Surrounding common areas are beautiful and serene. We decided not to post this in tripadvisor as our feelings from the room point was fairly poor. Hoping Pullman will renovate their deluxe rooms soon - the rooms certainly are no longer in deluxe condition. thank you Lawrence and Juliana

Unfortunately our Mandarin is not good and the staff were so helpful in getting English-speaking staff to assist us. The staff in the dining room was so very helpful too. The location of the hotel is fantastic with Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in the background.

Very nice Hotel room with excellent service at the breakfast restaurant. The only problem we had was that the floor heating in the bathroom didn't work. Reception provided us with header that we could use in the bathroom.

The Pullman LiJiang,I could sense the feeling of being home and the staff could recognize ACCOR PLATINUM A PLUS,especially in Pullman resorts and spa Lijiang ,just as a home away home! « Excellent hospitality from the check-in staff to F&B managers »

Pullman is a great resort with a very good property on the outskirts of Lijiang. But what sold us on was the warmth shown by all the members of the staff. The check-in desk staff was accommodating despite the hotel not having power on our arrival. The F&B staff at the restaurants were very flexible and treated us as royal guests.

The reception check in was very slow, they did not have a map of the city, we asked for them to call us a cab and they said it would take 30 minutes or longer and generally nothing was offered or Indicated that they were interested in making our stay enjoyable. Also the hot tub in the village was scalding hot so we could not use it. The second day we asked for it to be not quite as hot and it was filled with very cold water so we didn't end up using the private hot tub at all which is why we booked the villa. Also I accidentally broke a glass in the room when I woke up which was on the nightstand directly next to the bed. The front desk never asked if I was okay/if anyone was hurt, they just told me I would be charged 30RMB. The cost isn't a big deal but a bit of caring would have been nice.

The condition of the hotel fit to the expectation of the brand. The reception staff was very helpful and friendly, and responded to our request very well. We were slightly disappointed by the mountain view of the room though. We selected the room particularly hoping to see Mt. Yulong. But the building is not high enough, and we had a big tree in front of our window. We could still see the peak, but it is just now a clear open view unfortunately. The dinner buffet was very good value. The choice of food and beverage was great and the waiting staff was very helpful. It would be better to prepare the side umbrellas on the terrace during breakfast, so that people can enjoy more the outdoor space without being burnt.

The moment you walk through the cathedral entrance way doors you are greeted by the happy and friendly Pullman Lijiang team. Bad : 1) I was not able to make any online booking via wwww.accorhotels.com or Accor Plus. I had to call Accor Call Center to make this booking as I was unsure why. I stayed around 80 to 150 nights with Accor annually and this is the first time I ever encountered this problem with this property throughout my 10 years with Accor Good : 1) Excellent Accor Plus Platinum benefits recognition. Benefits include welcome drink, welcome basket of fruits, a bottle of red wine, personalised hand written card from the GM Michael and complimentary afternoon tea from 2.30 PM onwards 2) Villa upgrade and the room is huge at around 288 square metres, with separate bathtub, standing shower. There is an outdoor courtyard with table and chair and sunbath chair 3) You can order a personalised BBQ in your villa and the package starts from RMB 1,388 4) There is no executive club lounge but you can have your afternoon tea at the 1919 Bar from 2.30 PM onwards till 6 PM. You will receive a complimentary set of platter which includes cakes, fruits, macaron etc with your afternoon tea 5) The quality of breakfast is good and extensive (compared to Intercontinental Hotel Lijiang which was pathetic) 6) There is a buggy service to send you to and fro your villa 7) Complimentary horse cart ride to Shu He old town which is besides the hotel but requires 30 minutes advance booking. The hotel also provides complimentary bicycle and cycling map 8) Accor Plus dining benefits apply and this is a real deal (50% discount for 2 persons). The quality of the food in the Chinese restaurant is the best comparing with the rest of the restaurants during my 1 week stay in Lijiang 9) Great service especially from front desk personnel Miss Xi, Miss Lena from 1919 Bar and Miss Tina whom I met as she was doing her rounds throughout the hotel to ensure that customers are happy with their service. The GM Mr Michael can be seen walking the hotel everyday throughout my 4 days stay. This is epitome of what customer service is all about 10) The hotel exceeded my expectation. Normally, I have low expectation of Accor properties compared to Starwood and Marriott which I am also a Platinum Elite member. I stay around 80 to 150 nights with Accor and I can tell you that this is a well-managed property and I rank them at the top amongst Accor properties. All the staffs look happy and they will greet you whenever they walked past you. They are extremely service oriented and quick to resolve any issue promptly. I would like to applaud the Management and the Team for a job well done. The Management Team goes around checking on the customer to ensure a high level of satisfaction compared to other hotels in China where you do not see their Management personnel. I highly recommend this hotel and I will return if I ever return to Lijiang. I rate my stay to be 9 out of 10 and I do not have any issue during my stay. This contrasts with the latter part of my Lijiang trip where I moved to Intercontinental Hotel Lijiang and the experience was poor and pathetic (Rate Intercontinental Hotel Lijiang at 3 out of 10).
