Rooms were Large and clean. no coffee/tea facility in the room. I had to ask twice for the shampoo/showergel dispenser in the shower to be refilled.

In general I'm satisfied, expect the following: Always need to re-ask to get invoice per email - even if re-asked twice it was not send (but receive the satisfaction survey for the stay by email) Even if booked a single rooms, I got three times a room with three beds (so could not use the desk) Minor: Bananas are in most cases only available before 07:00 and not afterwards

Online we have 2 roomtypes one standard and one room with extra bed. The reservation was always made with the second roomtype. <br>We only have 4 rooms with extra bed in our hotel, so do not hesitate to ask for a roomchange because we have plenty rooms available with the other standard roomtype. <br><br>We also acknowledge the issue caused due to the different email addresses. We have passed your comment regarding the breakfast, especially fruits, to the relevant department. We aim to provide the best comfort in affordable packages. We came to Sint-Niklaas to visit relatives. It's the second time we spend a night in Ibis Sint-Niklaas, in the center of the city. The rooms are comfortable, prices are ok, we'll be back!

« First time i was checked as if i was a Crook. »

At the reception deel the manager asked my I D and i gave him my Accor card. I replied asking him if he was a trainee and he replied this is standard procedure- I replied I had better reception in other Ibis brands in london and other cities- at the end he gave me an old box of chocolate but I accepted this with thanks- I told him I booked the hotel and asked him what the deadline line was of breakfast - he told me 11 am. The Sunday I came at the rbreakfast desk at 10.40 and could rapidly grip a coffe , a croissant and a slice of bread and butter- the lady was starting already to take away the rest - at 5 to 11 I asked her if I cannot Uk’s get some fruit salad and some yoghourt to finish my breakfast - she excused that she had only 30 minutes to put everything in fridges and stores. She excused her and I said that in Tilburg f.e there there are 2/3 ladies doing the breakfast shift which is of course easier. I cannot understand that in a big city like st Niklaas only one girl is working for breakfast on a Sunday.Whilst I was talking 3 other Dutch guys grappes some brownies and a coffee and they said that was enough when I asked them to hurry up,being in a similar situation earlier. I think something can be done here. The breakfast lady was ok as well as the reception manager but with previous experiences at other hotels in Holland there is something wrong.Why should one check my I d if one can check my booking reference - my status as a silver member of Accor Group-who is going to take my room in my name? Am I in the middle of something on extra security check for some hotels in some cities? I know for sure I am glad I never took the Ibis membership card but staid at the Accor card!

Great location for a stopover on our way to Holland. Car parking right by the hotel and cheap overnight parking at 6 Euro. Room was modern and comfortable with a good powerful shower. Breakfast was too expensive especially when we are both vegetarian.

The stay itself was good, but on arrival was advised that a family room had been booked instead of a triple room which had been indicated a few days before. Luckily one of the party has booked an extra room for himself and the third person (meant for the triple room) was able to stay in the room with him.

I am very sorry for what appears to have been a misunderstanding with your booking. After investigating the matter I see 5 double rooms were booked, with the remark that an extra bed was needed for a child. We changed this last room to a triple room as we do not have any family rooms in our hotel. (room 107) Housekeeping was informed that an extra bed was to be placed in the room but maybe this was not the case? I would like to apologise for this oversight on our behalf. I am sorry we were not informed at the time so that we may have rectified this situation. I would describe my stay as simply ok. The biggest factor for me was that there were no kitchen so could not get an evening meal without going out.

Nice, but the noise from the street because the windows are not properly insulated is a problem. This makes the whole experience price quality on the limit.

nice Hotel downtown Sint Niklaas, checkout procedure is a challenge, though, having the company address added to the invoice (although handing a business card at checkin) did not work while I was there...got an invoice mailed afterwards. Request to checkout and still go back to the room was denied with the statement: once you checkout you cannot go back to the room
