the beds are child-size. If you measure more than 1.80m, your feet get out and the width is ridiculous. Under the sheets have a kind of mat similar to the gymnastics laminated really uncomfortable. The separation of the beds is approximately 20 cm, so one of the people has to jump to get to the bed. The room is really small. I could understand it a little bit if it be in a really crowded and expensive city , but this is in Sonora, a cheap, big and desolated place. Finally the bathroom is small, the door have a 2 inch space in the base so if someone needs to useit the other should go out to make it less uncomfortable .

Room is good, we had a family member at the local hospital and it was a little bad time for us, but the hotel itself help us rest and the amenities are simple enough. The deal we got was with complementary breakast and the food was really good.

The hotel staff were extremely very helpful, always making sure I have everything I need. The restaurant staff were also very hakpful, trying their best to converse with me and make sure we understand each other regarding my order. Carlos at the restaurant was especially helpful trying to explain to me about the different food and how to mix and match to make it more flavorsome. I underwent a medical procedure and on my first night back at the hotel I had a hard time getting in and out of bed, I called and this sweet lady from the reception came up to help me. The lady cleaning the 4th floor was also very nice and respectful. My only concern was the mold outside the bathroom, I think the shower stall leaks some water outside by the entrance of the room. Other than that, I loved my 1 week stay at ibis Hermosillo.

« A cool retro-modern style hotel with all amenities though the room was smaller than site photos. »

Very friendly, knowledgeable front desk staff, great location, great interior design throughout the hotel, nice room and bedding. Unfortunately the room was very small, feeling i was mislead by the photos on hotel website. I wonder if my announcement to the front desk that i had a low rate through Booking Dot Com, perhaps they gave me their smallest room with rough towels, broken shower door and very old bed pillows. I took pictures of the pillows, they look nothing like the crisp, new pillows in hotel photos. I thnk this is not a staff fault but management issue. A better solution: the manager could instruct desk staff to offer the guest an upgrade to a better room at maybe 20% additional fee. I would have gladly payed more for my room. Breakfast buffet was very good. Too bad they offer very little as far as snacks after 9pm or so. Reality chevk: most people who travel to a city of 1 million and choose a modern style hotel, they expect a cafe to be open until 11pm or later. Overall an excellent hotel, despite the room i had.

Over all experience was good. Hair dryers in both the rooms we reserved was not working. Towels and bedding needs to be upgraded, they were discolored and frayed. We stay at the Ibis Hermosillo for business and when traveling to other cities within Mexico because of the ideal location and affordability.
