Hotel is very close to the centre of Belfast, only a 10minute walk to the City Hall. Room was serviced daily with clean towels and the staff were friendly. We weren't bothered atoll by any of the surrounding bars or the noises of the city, albeit, we were on the 6th floor. The rooms are basic with the shower enclosure being built in the the room, only the toilet had its own space, we asked for and were given a hairdryer and some extra pillows, as the bed was made up with one each on a double bed, the flooring was a bit dirty as it was laminate rather than carpet. Pool table in reception was great but the tvs were muted and no music so quite a dull experience. Breakfasts are continental only.

It was fine. Not great but fine.

Stayed here for two nights with my son and brother. Check in wasn’t the best. Front of house staff were obviously too busy to try and appease us. Hotel was next to a noisy pub but to be fair we were on a high floor so it didn’t really effect us. Room was clean enough although a little cramped for 3 but we knew what the situation was so no real complaints. Hotel location was a positive and the check out was swift with no dramas. Would use again if in the area for a night and the price was reasonable.

OK for one night

I stayed here for one night with my daughter. We had booked an accessible room, which I hadn't realised, and it was small but had a separate bathroom/wet floor shower. The room was clean, but the beds are very hard, and you only get one pillow. You also have to ask for a hairdryer from reception. The room is painted a very dark blue and the tiny window opened onto the wall of the pub next door so it was very dark and didn't give any natural daylight. No kettle in the room, and whilst it's free downstairs, I didn't want to go down at night in my pyjamas or get dressed to do so. We paid £8.50 each for breakfast, which sadly wasn't worth the price. It was fine for one night but I wouldn't want to stay for longer.

Missing souvenirs…

Overall value for money. However my partner and I were very upset to find that our souvenirs had gone missing from our room on the Sunday morning after housekeeping had been in. They weren’t worth a lot but that isn’t really the point. We didn’t have time to rebuy before we left. We did bring this to the attention of the staff who said they would check with housekeeping but have heard nothing since. I wouldn’t stay here again. It’s not worth the risk. Plenty of other nicer hotels in/around Belfast city centre.

I had a horrendous experience 16th January, I had booked one night to attend a family funeral the following day,on returning late that evening I found my bedding badly stained obviously hadn't, been changed. I,ve yet to have any purposeful response from Etap.i,d strongly advise anyone to avoid this hotel. Etap Dublin Road Belfast
