Overall stay was alright, the room and the rooftop bar made up for the rest. Upon arrival there was nobody at the door, and opening the door with your hands full of luggage is not the best welcome experience. I walked over the what I presumed to be the reception area and it took at least 5 minutes before being acknowledged and another 5-10 minutes before being able to check in. All in all my arrival and check in must have been the least pleasant experience I've had with an Accor hotel this year. The room itself was good, bathroom nice and spacious, bed comfortable and AC worked well (temperature setting seemed to hold it well). Given that Accor promotes to be environmental friendly in the room (Even Nature deserves a break), it might be a good idea to change from plastic water bottles to glass bottles. Breakfast was good when eaten in the hotel, the breakfast box I received because of early check out (05:30) was quite pathetic, - The ham-cheese sandwiches from the 7-11 are tastier than what was provided by Muse - The chocolate croissant and muffin must have been at least a day old, but could have been older - The fruits were dry and tasteless During my stay my fiancee stopped by for dinner at Medici, but it was interesting to see how non off the staff greeted her. Would it be a presumption that all Thai visitors are not worthy of some respect? It's a shame really as my fiancee is in the senior management of ExxonMobil and Muse lost a great opportunity to display themselves for corporate events. Then the internet, I have not stayed in a hotel with such poor internet for as long as I can remember. Initially it was just slow, the second evening it was disaster. I've used my phone as a hotspot to be able to work and have conference call, as I only found out the internet quality when the call was about to start. Finally, the check out procedure seem to be quite long, it took 10 minutes to prepare my bill. I'm sure that modern day software can help you to improve this process. (This is the same for the other Accor hotels)

When my boyfriend and I arrived your hotel. I asked the female staff where I can order the birthday cake by myself (the girl who is helping us to do the check in service). But I didn't ask her help to order the cake due to my travel schedule was packed quite full. When my boyfriend and I back to our hotel room at night time on my boyfriend's birthday, we seen the cake in our room. Appreciated that the female sraff proactive gave her helping hands to me and arranged this surprise to my boyfriend.

A terrible experience of my frist stay with Muse Bangkok

I booked 2 nights via Hotels.com, and chosen Jatu Deluxe room with twin beds. However I and my friend were told this room type was full. We got a bigger room which didn't shown at official website and hotels.com . The window is small and the bathroom make us feel uncomfortable. Also, the bed is not real twin bed, it's just a king bed with 2 mattress. We are very disappointed of this arrangement and requested changing for another night. Meanwhile, we also disappointed that the bathing equipment is really old, seem the maintenance is not enough. Be reminded, is OLD, not VINTAGE. Also the check-in Lobby, there have a moldy smell around the air. Another terrible experience is checked out and leaving the hotel. We planned Grab taxi by our own, but the bellboy suggested arrange the taxi for us with THB500. So I show him my Grab app that is going to BKK airport. But he had wrongly told the taxi driver to Don Mueang Airport!! We had paid THB800 to going back BKK airport and almost missed our flight!! That is really ridiculous!! I feel very bad and cheated by this hotel. So I will share this experience to travel media and my friends. Sorry that I don't recommend anyone to stay with Hotel Muse. There still have many good and valuable choice in Bangkok.

Incredibly poor experience at the front desk. I would rate it 1 out of 10. Took over 30 minutes to check-in. We were staying at the hotel for only 10 hours between stages of our holiday. The Reception repeatedly offered us options that were beyond the time-frame of which we were staying. For example, we were offered a breakfast that started 30 minuted AFTER we were leaving. She did NOT listened to our needs. VERY POOR experience for an allegedly highly rated hotel.

great service, helpful and friendly staff. Nice and large room, clean and good bed to sleep in, but the hallway and reception were a bit too dark for me, was a bit challenging to see what I had in front of me

The check-in was disappointing. We arrived in the morning and dropped off our bags to head out for lunch at about 1045. Didn’t expect to get a room. However. When we returned at about 3pm. Rooms still not available as we were told another customer was late to check out. Although the staff did well in attempting provide a free drink at the bar, I was still disappointed at the delay. The reception was also struggling with the volume of people checking in and out. Also the spread and quality of food at the roof top bar during the cocktail session has also dropped.
