The people were very friendly, it was a very nice stay. We were just a little disappointed that there were plastic cups for the juices at breakfast. Could it be possible to use glass cups instead, that do not have to be thrown away? If we come back to Grenoble in the future, we will certainly come back to this hotel.

The carpets have stains, the beds had hair and things in them and didn't seem very clean. The person at the front desk was put out that we were there for some reason. We'll definitely stay at Ace hotels whenever possible in the future.

We needed to break our journey between London and Provence. We have always found Ibis budget to be good and the Grenoble hotel was perfect - close to our route, safe parking, clean, friendly, very nice upgrade to the design and styling of room. Good continental breakfast. Really well thought out in all aspects. Great budget hotel.

Dirty, smelly rooms

Family room, absolutely filthy, stunk of smoke, asked to change room and refused as there weren’t anymore suitable rooms, floor covered in burn marks, walls covered in snot and what looked like blood, staff no interested, charged differently on arrival but unfortunately we arrived late and didn’t have much option

The room has a strong cigarette smell (plus cigarette burns all over). The stall for the toilet is a silly way of diferentiating products.

Room very dirty. Floor full of dust and debris, walls full of stains; Damaged shower, floor burned by cigarettes. I even had to kill a cockroach. Awfull bed and matress, not able to sleep.Only acceptable thing was the breakfast.

The hotel was easy to find and check in went smoothly. However when we go to the room we found it was very small with hardly any room to walk around the beds. There wasn't a wardrobe to store clothes only hooks on the wall which were placed such that what was hung there interfered with easy passage. There was only 1 towel for two guests and the towel wasn't very good at drying. The sink had no plug meaning one had to leave the tap running when shaving - not very enviromentally friendly as hotels claim to be. Finally the toilet light didn't work and it was not possiblt to close the door as there wasn't an internal handle. The shower was nice though..........supplied shower gel didn't really work.
