« It was almost better than being in my own home »

I have stayed at the Grand Mercure Bangalore over a dozen times. I always notice improvement, but this time they went above and beyond the call of duty! Every need was taken care o;, every wish instantly granted; be it a request for extra water, a snack, a cooking pot.... every interaction with the staff was joyful, efficient, pleasant, courteous. From the brand new equipment in the gym, to the new uniforms of the wait staff, to the delicious variety of the breakfast menu, to the speedy check-in/check-out process......... I enjoyed every minute of my time at the Mercure, and am already looking forward to my next stay in December. Special mention goes out to Sakshi, Neha, Rina, Ritu, Nitesh, Brijesh Kurian, Rahul Bhatnagar, Ajay, Sai Kiran, the chefs..... I know I am missing a few, but thank you all!!!

« Great hotel, great staff, great stay »

I spent 3 weeks at Grand Mercure Bangalore and I had a great time there. I worked really long hours so it was always lovely to come back to a nice, clean room. The Reception desk was always helpful, the Restaurant staff were amazing and the housekeeping crew was excellent! Three names stand out here: Neha (restaurant) always looked after my meals, Rina (Reception) - her smile was always valuable after long hours in the office and the sous chef made creme brulee on the spot specially for me. The only feedback I have is please make it explicit to the customers that if the laundry is included in the price of the room, it doesn't accumulate. For example I was under the impression that if I get 2 pieces of laundry per day included in the price of the room and if I don't send anything one day I will get 4 pieces of laundry the following day. This is not the case, so please make it explicit. Otherwise I am very happy with my stay.

Rooms were clean, front desk people were really nice and helpful. Guest services, laundry services were nice. In the breakfast area (forgot the name) there was a guy who would ignore anyone else other than foreigners. Restaurant by the pool service was good. 2 issues with the room, water drains very slow in the washroom sink, shower heads could be improved.

Excellent Service by all! Parts of the hotel worn, for example the mirror in the bathroom, and particularly the outlets are nearly impossible to use. Having poor outlets became a challenge to overcome, and difficult in today's electronic world of smart phones and laptops. These reasons I cannot give a 10.

The room is spacious. It has a comfortable kitchenette that would be convenient in long stay. The hotel is built in a way that it seems like more than one building is connected and some lifts go off and don’t operate at certain times which was an inconvenient experience.

Met my expectations. F&B was good. Good for long stays. Location is far if you are on a short visit. The rooms are clean and well equipped. Environmentally friendly. The poolside bar is amazing. Multiple cuisine restaurant has plenty of choices . Well illuminated rooms and a good view of flowering trees.

Everything ran smoothly and well. There were a couple of small points of service not being up to scratch. Attention to detail seems to be lacking. For example, laundry bags not replaced etc.

Stayed on 8th of June for one night with family, the hotel is a nice property nestled in a predominantly residential area of Koramangala. Was surprised at the location at first but then realized its an apartment hotel. Initially they've allotted me a studio room when I contacted them from Coimbatore. Then when I checked in they've upgraded it to 1 BHK. That was a nice gesture on part of their front desk. They've a restaurant which served decent food and the buffet breakfast was very nice with wide spread of continental and Indian. However their dinner buffet wasn't that great. It was pretty average. Nevertheless it's better than many Accor properties. Overall a pleasant stay and would strongly recommend for families. Only jarring note is the washbasin in the toilet which had an issue.
