My birthday happened to fall in the date I stayed in the hotel. I got a huge sweet surprise for that. When I returned, I found the room was decorated beautifully with balloons, flower, flower petals, a lovely bear made with towel and a huge love heart made with flower petals . When I was dinning out at the 12th Main Restaurant, I got further surprise with a beautiful piece of birthday cake and a group of kitchen staff singing Happy Birthday for me! Never before I had such experience, I was so spoiled on this day, it certainly made my day and I will never forget this. :) I am very grateful to Ganjnz Aml, Sakshi Thakur and Neha Azad and others who made this day so special for me! Thank you all!

The wait staff by the pool are excellent. They will do everything possible to meet my needs. They will even go to the other restaurant to get me a pizza if I ask. Great people. I really liked it that they would bring me bottled water to my room. Room was always clean, but I would have preferred a larger room. Normally, since I stay here so often they will upgrade me to a larger room, but this time they didn't.

« The hotel is good in most aspects but food specially in the dinner time needs major improvement mainly with respect to Veg options. »

Things which I liked: 1) Staff and help desk are courteous. 2) The shuttle service is very nice 3) Rooms are very spacious Things which I did not like 1) Food options in dinner for people eating Veg is not good. Both buffet and a la carte did not have any decent options for people who want to eat veg. 2) The location of the hotel is little on the interior side , so any commute needs a shuttle to the main road. 3) Pool side restaurant service needs improvement, as we waited 20 mins for someone to come and take our order.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Naveen (my preferred driver) and the driving staff did an amazing job coordinating my transportation and handling my varied schedule. My experience was amazing at Grand Mercure. Every aspect exceeded my expectations. Check in was late at night, and the staff did a great job of checking me in quickly and bringing up our luggage to our room. When we got to our room, we had a tray of goodies waiting for us. I have certain dietary restrictions, and Neha did an amazing job to make sure I had great food options. I had something delivered to the hotel while I was out, and the hotel did a great job of handling the package and informing me of it's delivery. Every aspect was well above my expectations, and I cannot wait to stay at Grand Mercure again.

Staff is incapable of explaining the policies and the contracts they have with companies. they inform you that some of the services are covered by your company but later wen you have left the hotel, you come to know that they are not and they you end up paying those charges by your self.

Services of the Hotels have dropped down from last years alot. Management of people in restaurants, hospitatlity, on time services are impacted. Room maintenance is also very poor including the bathroom fittings and old products being used.

« Extremely dissapointed because of one incident caused by your staff (Sudeep Mukherjee) »

There was one incident that completely ruined the experience. My interaction with one of your sales team member (Sudeep Mukherjee) was the worst ever experience I had in my 26 years of dealing with the hospitality industry. He was rude obnoxious and not willing to listen to the customer at all. In fact he just ignored and walked away mid way through the conversation. Cardinal sin of customer service and utter disregard for customer!!! I had my entire team stay at Mercure for five days (17 Pax in total) and we could have chosen any other hotel in BLR but preferred the Accor Group because of my previous experiences with this group. I am disappointed on multiple fronts and tempted to turn in my Accor membership as well.

Breakfast options could be more. Room was very nice but we were not informed about the Valentine’s special offers going on at the pool side restaurant so we didn’t end up having dinner in the hotel whereas we had specifically booked the hotel to have a poolside dinner. This was disappointing as we got many calls from reservations team to confirm our arrival but nobody told us about the special valentine day offers.

« Enjoyed my stay but some improvements would make it better. »

Please train staff to 1. Leave the room door open if they find it open. It is difficult to keep getting up. 2. Housekeeping needs to leave things where they find them e.g. on the bathroom washbasin counter. 3. Room Service is far from perfect. One has to remind them to provide cookies with tea/coffee. I thoroughly enjoy living with you. I feel like I am living with my family. I must particularly mention Chef Vilas and how he remembers my preferences and health needs.
