My stay (5 nights) was fine but I expected something better concerning the housekeeping service. To be honest the room was not so cleaned well for a such Hotel of this standing. I asked 3 times more toilet paper and I'm still waiting for it....

The room was very comfortable and the services of high standards. However, there was a problem with my transfer from the airport (I had arranged it through the hotel) because the car never came. And it took me five phone calls and forty minutes to clear the situation. Apparently the car broke down (that was the explanation given) and no one was informed. In addition, I had asked for a transfer to the airport at my departure. This was offered to me as a complimentary service due to the problem at my arrival, which I do appreciate. However, I had to remind the staff multiple times in order for a taxi to come, because the limo service was once more not available.

« Good services, but not every request is met. »

Overall impression was good: clean and tidy room, friendly staff, timely cleaning, amazing and awesome breakfast. Minuses: 1) long lines to check-in; 2) when checking in I requested to provide invoice to my company's details and was promised to get it. While check-out I was told that invoice can be done within 5 working days and only after my personal request by phone - though originally it was promised that it's not an issue; 3) before checking-out I requested to prepare lunch-box by 20:30 at least 2 hours in advance (my room was paid till next noon and breakfast was paid as well, but my flight was at midnight, so I was planning to leave at 20:30). But when I reached the check-out desk at 20:50 I was told nothing is ready yet ! The reason was announced that they need to bake something which is ridiculous as lunch box contains yogurt, apple, some nuts, bottle of water, croissant - 100% not just baked - and 1 cheese pancake with sour cream. I got 2 lunch-boxes. Sorry, I don't believe that 2 cheese pancakes take 2 hours to cook! Anyway they were cold, not just cooked. Most likely, my request was just forgotten, so I had to wait for another 20 minutes at the desk, then another 30 minutes waiting for Aeroexpress as I missed the originally planned train and nearly missed my flight due to this delay, had to run through the whole airport and was the last to check-in and board. For sure, it was not the greatest experience. The rest was fine!

There is a mess in your booking system - despite me (Janis Eisaks) being the person who paid the accomodation for me and my colleague A. Jansons, I still do not have the proper invoice for submission to my accounting department. For unknown reasons Mr. Jansons is seen as the person with whom the corresepondence on invoicing should be maid.

« The stay was very pleasant but in the end I will only remember the difficult preparations »

The booking system was not flexible at all. I had several request but the booking manager told me almost every time that she wasn't able to adjust these request do to the system. My stay itself was very pleasant. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was excellent.

The service from reception either for checking in or checking out, it was really disappointed. It was not busy at both occasions but when a new counter was open and the staff randomly asked anyone to come forward rather calling people queuing in line. When people started to make a query why it is so, the staff was very cold and not even bothered to explain. It seemed that there was no respect from the staff and it was really fallen below the expectation of services based on Novotel standard. Disappointed

« It was comfortable and convenient. »

The room was comfortable and convenient to the business location we were at. Being near the mall and metro also was helpful. Breakfast was fine. The room itself could have used more power outlets (why is there only one on one side of the bed and not one on both?). Cleaning was efficiently done while we were at breakfast which was most appreciated. Staff were generally friendly, though check in and check out were neither efficient nor pleasant. Also, you could try to have it better signed or make it clearer on how to get between the metro and the hotel. It eventually makes sense when you are there, but new people end up spending lots of time wandering aimlessly around car parks and the mall.
