At first, the receptionist refused to provide us with the second welcome drink voucher, although our stay was fully eligible and I booked a room for two persons. However, ultimately, the receptionist provided us the second one. We didn’t have amenities for second person in the room, so we had to ask again. The room was nice.

I booked a superior room and the room is bigger than I thought. It is very good size for travellers who have big luggages and need the space. The amenities are also very good and the only thing I have to say is the location. Although it may not be the most convenient plaec but it is good enough and quiet enough. The nearest 24 hours minimart is about 10mins walk away. The nearest train station is also about 15mins walk away. So unless you are traveling light but it could be a challenge lugging a luggage and walking 15mins to the train station.

Please let me inform you that we have the second metro station near the hotel - Serpukhovskaya (grey line), just 5 minutes walk. To get the train station it is possible to take a tram which stops next to the hotel and it is just 2 stops from Paveletsky railway station. Not for the first time, generally excellent. I was particularly pleased that the reception staff gave me an extra 2 hours to check out in order to receive my luggage which had been delayed from my Munich to Moscow flight.

« The team was not present »

Except for check in, pretty much all failed. My room was not cleaned when I returned at the end of my first day in the office. I had a bar man the second evening that had no idea how to operate the pay system. Eventually I left without a receipt what in my country means I need to pay the bill myself. So I have slept in Ibis hotels more than once and this stay is definitely not what I am used to. A big disappointment.

Check-in was good. the rest was below average, below experience in the room, bed comfort not fantastic, room old, service and greetings POOR. Russia is not well-known for friendly staff, however a good morning or good bye or a thank you goes a long way. Invisible guests would have the same treatment...

Overall I am satisfied and use to come to your hotel but what I do not like is: 1. no alcoholic drink (even beer) at restaurant 2. no possible to put expenses from the bar to room account

We are very sorry for the inconveniences caused to you during the service in the bar and the restaurant. The issue linked with the absence of alcohol in the restaurant is solved now. The situation related to the payment of bills in the bar, we can not change due to the requirements of the law. Each point of sale requires a license. If we close invoices for rooms, we will need to issue an additional license for front office. This process requires both time and financial costs. Ones again we thank you for the comments. Location great for reason for booking this hotel. Breakfast i read from others was not good but my experience the breakfast was very good. Comfortable bed, quiet room. Couple doors up from domino’s if fast food is your thing. Next door to IELTS English language exam building for uk immigration.

It is always a pleasure to receive the feedback from our guests. You are absolutely right that the presence of kettle in the room would be a good addition for a more comfortable stay for our guests. But we support the international standards set for ibis brand, which limit the possibility of installing additional equipment in the hotel rooms, as well as providing an expanded set of services. That's why we do not have kettles in the rooms. But our bar is open 24/7 where you can buy some hot drinks or ask some hot water. Once again thank you for your comments. « Valuable hotel in strategic location »

This hotel is close located from Paveletsky station where both can be accessed from/to airport and urban metro. The staffs are very humble and helpful, from the first they help me to ease visa processing, to inform me the city public transportations, until the check-out time. They also gave me the facilities that I wanted at the arrival time. The room is very clean and calm so my bedtime is so worthy. The rate is valuable by it's facilities and location. If my friends plan to visit Moscow, I'd like to recommend this hotel to them.

Good hotel, located about 10 min from paveletskaya station. It is a bit far from the city centre to get there walking. Neighborhood is quiet but it can get dark at night. Really nice staff, they were very helpful with everything. Breakfast was good.

Reception staff was good, always trying to help. The young men working at the bar during the night shift were rude and bored about their job. I was trying to pay for a bottle of water at midnight, and the young man in a rude manner told me I have to wait 20 minutes because they are doing the night audit. I was very tired, and asked to charge my room bill. He said this was fine. The day after at 8 am in the morning, the same person called me in the room and said: THIS IS THE BAR, YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR THE WATER. I mean, do you really think this is the way of speaking with a client in a hotel???? Do you really think it is normal being disturbed at 8 am in the morning for a bottle of water? I completely understand this young man forgot to tell me that they do not have my CC saved in the system, therefore they did not have a guarantee for the water, but if he forgot it, this is not the way of solving a problem. You really should take the bar staff out of the hotel, or organize a training and make them understand what Hospitality means, no matter if you work in a 3 or 5 star hotel Thank you
