« the first time at Ibis when i didn't feel myself as just being in Accorhotels chain »

I've been a loyal member of Accorhotels chain for quite a long period. Unfortunately this was the first time at Ibis Nizhniy Novgorod when i didn't feel myself not even welcomed as a loyal member but even as just being in Accorhotels chain. The problems started even at prepayment stage and continued simultaneously during the whole stay -even at checkout. So i can't recommend Ibis Nizhniy Novgorod to anyone at least for now - hope my feedback will help the management to pay attention for Ibis Nizhniy Novgorod and improve the current status and allow this hotel to be a prominent part of the Accorhotel Chain.1)my room rate was 100% prepayment. So the payment was conducted at the same date when i make the reservation: 13.10.2017. For some reason i was charged again by Ibis Nizhniy Novgorod at 02.11.2017 - i sent request to the hotel asking to clarify what had happened at 03/11/2017 - i have received no answer here yet. When checked in at the hotel i asked at the reception about this issue: unfortunately i had no clear answer, just was informed by reception staff that i will get the answer at check out. Unfortunately during the check out manager Shukhrat wasn't able to explain me clearly what has happened: in quite rude and nervous manner he told me kind of "you know it happens sometimes". 2) The staff at the reception desk gave me wrong info about breakfast slots. 3) i ask if it's possible to park my car at the hotel parking and the answer was NO again in absolutely unfriendly manner. I ask to keep me posted if there will be any possibility - unfortunately i had no feedback here. 4)at breakfast i asked the restaurant staff if it's possible to order fried eggs because i'm used to enjoy this meal each time i stay in Ibis - the answer was NO: the staff marked that usually there is such an opportunity but not today because there are too many guest and there is only one cook at the kitchen (frankly speaking there were around 3 or 4 tables occupied ). 5) the table with vegetables and yogurts is located very inconvenient to to take anything from it. 6) welcome drink voucher was proposed only for one person (though we ordered double room) 7) if i got it correctly there is no local wifi in the hotel - only city wifi , so the connection was very unstable. 8) the sink wasn't clean enough 9) there was only one power socker near the bed 10)the bed wasn't made as it's always made at Ibis

I've been a loyal member of Accorhotels chain for quite a long period. The reason why i always prefer to stay in the chain wherever i go around the world for my business trips or for my personal trips is that i'm 100% sure what to expect: professional approach for solving issues, high level of service, friendly and attentive staff. Unfortunately this was the first time at Ibis Nizhniy Novgorod when i didn't feel myself not even welcomed as a loyal member but even as just being in Accorhotels chain. The problems started even at prepayment stage and continued simultaneously during the whole stay -even at checkout. So i can't recommend Ibis Nizhniy Novgorod to anyone especially for my friends and colleagues who planned to book this hotel for the Intentional football championship 2018 at least for now - hope my feedback will help the management to pay attention for Ibis Nizhniy Novgorod and improve the current status and allow this hotel to be a prominent part of the Accorhotels Chain.

Almost everything was as expected. However, only Russian television channels were available, even though there was a card on the TV that showed other international channels in other languages (none of them worked). Plus, I checked-in online before coming to the hotel, and the information about online check-in was that everything would be ready, including the key for the room, when we arrive (we understand that we would just need to present our passports at reception). However, checking-in was no faster than usual (we've stayed in this hotel about 10 times in the past 5 years) and the keys (cards for the room door) were not ready, and were programmed while we were waiting at reception. So, just a couple of things that the hotel could improve on.

The staff at the reception have somehow improved their behaviour, although behind me a new guest was waiting and my staff did not pay any attention welcoming him and asking him to wait a little... I left the coat on a chair while the guardian was there and then forgot about it. On returning, the guardian had not noticed that I had left it and that someone had put it in a safer place...

I stayed two nights at Ibis Nizhny Novgorod. I could say now that it was excellent experience. Very helpful and friendly staff. A girl at reception kindly explained me how to go to some attraction in the city. I also received welcome drink and a small gift. Room was clean. Bed is very comfortable, snow-white bed linen. There are about 20 channels on TV, also in English and other languages. There is wonderful city view from window. All this is for reasonable price.

I stayed in Ibis Nizhny Novgorod for 5 days with my colleagues for a corporate training session and for another 2 days on my own for some sightseeing. What I liked: 1) Personel is very polite and kind, every contact is a pleasure. You rarely get this in Russia; 2) Meals when ordered individually are quite delicious. What I did not like at all: 1) When I stayed for 2 days on my own in room 529 the shower was awful. It would switch from cold to hot for no visible reason and water pressure was barely enough to take shower at all. Also in the late evenings the water was barely warm; 2) When on the training session we had corporate catering in the restaurant that we had to order in advance. It was totally not delicious.

Clean an nice not satisfy with receptionist which I asked for a wake up call and they never done it and I lost my fly the breakfast was extra to pay that's mean I have the choices of fry eggs but the waitress said that can not offer you

The water in shower is always changing from hot to cold. Air-conditioner is always blowing out warm air. That is why I turned it off. All the rest is okay.

Quality of breakfast to be improved. Hard eggs, dry scrambled eggs (chef needs training), bad gray bread (just a wrong supplier). Front desk well trained and courteous. Room according to Accor standard.
