A bit far from the historic centre, the hotel is a little shabby, ask at the reception for a new room as they do have few. No room service, no bath articles. Breakfast ok.

I had a special room that was ice hockey themed with various pictures and memorabilia on the walls. The hotel is fairly new with everything in good order. We found a "British" pub just across the road serving good food. Other than that the surrounding area did not seem very interesting.

« Is much better than last visit »

Service at the reception was always very quick, friendly and efficient. Rooms have almost everything one needs for a short stay. Daily supply of fresh drinking water would be highly appreciated. This time it was restaurant which was really surpassing expectations. Food was really delicious and service was adding appetite and desire to stay longer with you

« Good quality hotel in a good location »

The stay was fine, with check in and check out easy. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the old centre of Nizhny and close to the metro station. Breakfast was fine with a good choice for all.

« Good hotel for one-two night of business trip »

The room was perfect, it was Torpedo Ice Hockey Team branded room and I really like it. But Ibis Kitchen restaurant was disappointed us because they can’t served the dinner for us at 9PM because of high loaded of kitchen and lack of waiters! So we have to go on dinner outside the hotel.

I like living in Ebis, rooms are comfortable, food is different and tasty. My recommendation - teach your stuff to tell about good cafes or restaurant for eating national food or even NNg food.

The room looked much more spacious on pictures so I was really surprised when walked in it and it was literally tiny. Before that I had a choice: to pick a very nice 40 sq meters apartment on Air BnB (for the same price) or to book a room in your hotel. Unfortunately I chose the second. Moreover that there were no fridge, glasses or plates in my room. Shortly it was pretty disappointing experience. And I don’t know what can motivate me to stay at Ibis one more time.

« the first time at Ibis when i didn't feel myself as just being in Accorhotels chain »

I've been a loyal member of Accorhotels chain for quite a long period. Unfortunately this was the first time at Ibis Nizhniy Novgorod when i didn't feel myself not even welcomed as a loyal member but even as just being in Accorhotels chain. The problems started even at prepayment stage and continued simultaneously during the whole stay -even at checkout. So i can't recommend Ibis Nizhniy Novgorod to anyone at least for now - hope my feedback will help the management to pay attention for Ibis Nizhniy Novgorod and improve the current status and allow this hotel to be a prominent part of the Accorhotel Chain.1)my room rate was 100% prepayment. So the payment was conducted at the same date when i make the reservation: 13.10.2017. For some reason i was charged again by Ibis Nizhniy Novgorod at 02.11.2017 - i sent request to the hotel asking to clarify what had happened at 03/11/2017 - i have received no answer here yet. When checked in at the hotel i asked at the reception about this issue: unfortunately i had no clear answer, just was informed by reception staff that i will get the answer at check out. Unfortunately during the check out manager Shukhrat wasn't able to explain me clearly what has happened: in quite rude and nervous manner he told me kind of "you know it happens sometimes". 2) The staff at the reception desk gave me wrong info about breakfast slots. 3) i ask if it's possible to park my car at the hotel parking and the answer was NO again in absolutely unfriendly manner. I ask to keep me posted if there will be any possibility - unfortunately i had no feedback here. 4)at breakfast i asked the restaurant staff if it's possible to order fried eggs because i'm used to enjoy this meal each time i stay in Ibis - the answer was NO: the staff marked that usually there is such an opportunity but not today because there are too many guest and there is only one cook at the kitchen (frankly speaking there were around 3 or 4 tables occupied ). 5) the table with vegetables and yogurts is located very inconvenient to to take anything from it. 6) welcome drink voucher was proposed only for one person (though we ordered double room) 7) if i got it correctly there is no local wifi in the hotel - only city wifi , so the connection was very unstable. 8) the sink wasn't clean enough 9) there was only one power socker near the bed 10)the bed wasn't made as it's always made at Ibis

« The first time when staying in Accorhotels chain i didn't myself in Accorhotels chain at all »

I've been a loyal member of Accorhotels chain for quite a long period. The reason why i always prefer to stay in the chain wherever i go around the world for my business trips or for my personal trips is that i'm 100% sure what to expect: professional approach for solving issues, high level of service, friendly and attentive staff. Unfortunately this was the first time at Ibis Nizhniy Novgorod when i didn't feel myself not even welcomed as a loyal member but even as just being in Accorhotels chain. The problems started even at prepayment stage and continued simultaneously during the whole stay -even at checkout. So i can't recommend Ibis Nizhniy Novgorod to anyone especially for my friends and colleagues who planned to book this hotel for the Intentional football championship 2018 at least for now - hope my feedback will help the management to pay attention for Ibis Nizhniy Novgorod and improve the current status and allow this hotel to be a prominent part of the Accorhotels Chain.

Almost everything was as expected. However, only Russian television channels were available, even though there was a card on the TV that showed other international channels in other languages (none of them worked). Plus, I checked-in online before coming to the hotel, and the information about online check-in was that everything would be ready, including the key for the room, when we arrive (we understand that we would just need to present our passports at reception). However, checking-in was no faster than usual (we've stayed in this hotel about 10 times in the past 5 years) and the keys (cards for the room door) were not ready, and were programmed while we were waiting at reception. So, just a couple of things that the hotel could improve on.
