Nice rooms, cleaned... but during the night is very hard to sleep due to type of blackout curtains not so effective...

Almost everything was as expected. However, only Russian television channels were available, even though there was a card on the TV that showed other international channels in other languages (none of them worked). Plus, I checked-in online before coming to the hotel, and the information about online check-in was that everything would be ready, including the key for the room, when we arrive (we understand that we would just need to present our passports at reception). However, checking-in was no faster than usual (we've stayed in this hotel about 10 times in the past 5 years) and the keys (cards for the room door) were not ready, and were programmed while we were waiting at reception. So, just a couple of things that the hotel could improve on.

The staff at the reception have somehow improved their behaviour, although behind me a new guest was waiting and my staff did not pay any attention welcoming him and asking him to wait a little... I left the coat on a chair while the guardian was there and then forgot about it. On returning, the guardian had not noticed that I had left it and that someone had put it in a safer place...

I stayed two nights at Ibis Nizhny Novgorod. I could say now that it was excellent experience. Very helpful and friendly staff. A girl at reception kindly explained me how to go to some attraction in the city. I also received welcome drink and a small gift. Room was clean. Bed is very comfortable, snow-white bed linen. There are about 20 channels on TV, also in English and other languages. There is wonderful city view from window. All this is for reasonable price.

I stayed in Ibis Nizhny Novgorod for 5 days with my colleagues for a corporate training session and for another 2 days on my own for some sightseeing. What I liked: 1) Personel is very polite and kind, every contact is a pleasure. You rarely get this in Russia; 2) Meals when ordered individually are quite delicious. What I did not like at all: 1) When I stayed for 2 days on my own in room 529 the shower was awful. It would switch from cold to hot for no visible reason and water pressure was barely enough to take shower at all. Also in the late evenings the water was barely warm; 2) When on the training session we had corporate catering in the restaurant that we had to order in advance. It was totally not delicious.

Clean an nice not satisfy with receptionist which I asked for a wake up call and they never done it and I lost my fly the breakfast was extra to pay that's mean I have the choices of fry eggs but the waitress said that can not offer you

The water in shower is always changing from hot to cold. Air-conditioner is always blowing out warm air. That is why I turned it off. All the rest is okay.

Quality of breakfast to be improved. Hard eggs, dry scrambled eggs (chef needs training), bad gray bread (just a wrong supplier). Front desk well trained and courteous. Room according to Accor standard.

1st. It is not possible to reach the hotel's main entrance by car - there are gates all around. And outside those gates there are absolutely no free space to park. So I spent ~10 minutes in order to search for free space. Finally I was in need to violate the rules and stop under "No parking" road sign. And even in this case I was to go ~100m to enter the hotel. 2nd. There were problems to pay by debit card on the reception, so I was suggested to get cash somewhere. Additionally they asked me to write my debit card number for some guaranty (?) but I refused to do that, because this is some kind of mistrust. I suppose they have all my info in ibis.com account anyway. 3rd. Hotel's car parking is in the back yard of the hotel, but the way was really difficult and long. We had to pass 3 (three) gates until found the parking itself. And on each gate there were third-party security guard who said "It's not our problem to show you the way to Ibis parking". 4th. Administration didn't allow us to get inside through the back door (from the parking side) and to use elevator with a lot of our luggage. They said that this back entry is for staff only, and that we should go by feet around the whole big building with all our luggage. 5th. Just to note that we would pay additionally for a) breakfast ~15Eur/day b) parking ~3Eur/day and c) the dog ~7Eur/day. So the whole price had to be enlarged for ~25Eur/day. This is too high for such hotel class. All those were "too much" for us, so we made decision to abandon our reservation and go to another hotel. We found 4-star hotel in the center for exactly the same price (with breakfast, parking and dog accommodation included) as we would pay in that Ibis hotel.
