« Try very hard to make us feel at home »

It’s good to be there, the staff there are really friendly. They usually welcome us with smile and warm words. The room is tidy and clean and the activities are really suitable for kids. Our kids like them a lot. It’s convenient to the seaside. As for the food, it’s really yummy. We like it a lot,but there were so many people waiting to eat during our stay there. In a word, we were satisfied with our stay.

« Great family hotel with some room for improvement! »

I stayed in the hotel with my wife and two kids along with another family that has three kids. We really liked the ocean view room and the fact that we had an additional bed in there for our 2 year old kid. I requested that and I was very happy the hotel made it happen. The amount of entertainment for kids is simply amazing. This was impressive. The only real thing to improve: There is quite a big gap between the staffs capability level. There are amazing service oriented people (For example Edward, Cindy and Jaden who all three are just elite people at the highest level of 5-star service and of course the always kind and welcoming Leila). They even had one Trainee from Nepal, Bob, that was just unbelievably service oriented and then on the other hand there was just so many employees in the restaurants and lobby area that were simply not qualified to work for a 5-star Pullman Hotel. Its not that they were rude or impolite, they seem like good people that simply lack the necessary training to belong with a Pulmann Hotel or any 5-star hotel at all. Its not really their fault - somebody should train them. Simple things: smile, be nice and attentive, don't prioritize your smart phone over checking on your costumer, care about your consumer first - try to remember their preferences. If Bob the trainee at the breakfast buffet can pick these things up being at the hotel for only four months, than it should be possible for the management to teach others to do so as well. Another small thing: try to make sure the dishes taste the same every night. I'm personally not a fan of ordering the same dish twice and having two completely different culinary experiences. I'm sure thats possible to fix... Overall, I will definitely come back with my family. I believe this was a good stay overall and I hope the GM can address some of the input above and the hotel can do better next time. Again special thanks to Edward, Cindy, Jaden, Leila and Bob for exceeding our expectations and that way making it easier for us to overlook the little flaws of the hotel.

« It's a relax, home like stay in Pullman Oceanview Sanya Bay Resort »

We stayed in this hotel for one week and felt really well. It's a great place if you are looking for a peaceful, private, home-like hotel in Sanya Bay area. The best experience it's to enjoy the free movies in the internal small cinema. The food is also delicious. if you don't care it's close to the airport, it must be the best choice in this area.

« A very relaxing three days »

We enjoyed staying at the Pulman Oceanview very much. To start with, they met us at the airport. Then our customer service manager, Kate was waiting at the hotel reception with a lovely warm greeting when we arrived at the hotel. They recognised my Accor gold membership and offered us a room upgrade to a suite as well as early checkin and late checkout. We enjoyed the sunsets every night in the 17th floor executive lounge with drinks and interesting canapés. We found all the staff to be warm and friendly. Congratulations to the management. You have a great team. I hope we have the chance to come back soon.

Well maintained property located 5km away from Sanya's city centre (Jiefang Rd, etc) but does have restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Beach access (swimming not recommended) is via the hotel's dedicated underpass (to cross Sanyawan Road). The hotel has numerous pools, including those catering to children, complete with sand. Decent breakfast. Good views from the rooftop bar. Bathtubs facing out to the balcony. The gem for us was the staff. Welcomer Kate Xie exceeded our expectations and helped us throughout our stay. The concierge staff are all also very ready to help.

Stayed in Pullman Oceanview Sanya Bay Resort & Spa for two nights with a 80 years old senior and a 3 years old child. All family members expressed their joy and satisfaction for the stay. I booked an ocean view suite, and in fact we spent a lot of time in the room. The room was very clean, I was surprised with the frequency of cleaning up the room, and refilling the amenities. We loved the bath salt and the smell of the amenities. It was lovely. The balcony was very nice. We also love the selection of the TV channels as well, unlike other hotels in China, we could watched HBO and KBS etc. The breakfast buffet selections were wide ranged. Although on the first day, the waitress cleaned up our table when we went out to get more food, the overall experience was ok. I felt very welcome at the entrance of the restaurant every morning. At last, I would like to express my sadness of ‘not being able to play my own floating bed’. I bought a floating bed for this trip which is 2kg to carry all the way from Hong Kong to Sanya. However, I was told that I couldn’t use it. I guess you can understand how frustrated I was. The hotel stuff said somethg to do with the sand next to the central pool that causing the low water quality and therefore they closing the only pool that can play floating bed. Moreover, I saw someone playing the hotel’s floating bed on the day of my check out (25/11). Well, I must say that I was quite disappointed. Overall, the service of the hotel was ok, we got all the help we needed during the stay. A few stuff were remarkable including the lady who helped me check out, the lady who welcome me at the breakfast place, the life guard worked at the swimming pool on the 24th morning etc. To concluded, we like the hotel facilities and definitely willing to travel again with your resort. Thank you.

Great welcome: On arrival, we were greeted by the Accor welcome team (Kate and Vivian). Kate has been really helpful and friendly. Great experience: Hotel facilities and room facilities are all good. The swimming pools and beach nearby add to the unforgettable experience. Great transport support: We hire the hotel car on 3 occasions. The driver was very helpful and professional.

I am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations; please allow me to express my sincerest apologies. Regarding the sound insulation of the room, hotel is still working on it to find a good solution. And what we assure you is taht we will try our best to arrange a relatively quiet room at your next visit. The noise came from helicopter bases nearby and vehicles around Sanya Bay was unable to handled which considered as public area out of hotel reach. The hotel has only a small singing room in the lobby and music band performace in every evening.I hope this wonderful music doesn't bother your rest during your stay. Anyway,please don't hesitate to let us know what can we help at your stay.
