At first we were disappointed with the rate increase but saw improvements, especially the door system, and the option to have an in room fridge and safe. Cleaning was impeccable as always. The best thing about this hotel is Enrique at the front desk. Professional, calm, efficient, he makes you feel cared for and secure. The bus to the beach unfortunately seemed less frequent but the shopping is still convenient and Pizza Piola has a bigger menu now. Great stay!

« Convinient near the airport. »

It was a nice, simple and convinient hotel with a Superama, 7eleven, restaurant and a mall all around the corner. It’s just 15-20 min to the airport yet the taxis are very expensive. The breakfast very basic but enough for the price of the booking.

Right situated in the downtown of Cancun and is easily accessed. Ibis has maintained its service standard worldwide with no exceptions in Cancun. It's all good and satisfying in general even though I would expect more choice in the food menu.

Not so good, I went for a night to have some time away from my husband after an argument, but he showed up in the lobby and somehow convinced the receptionist to let him in... without my authorization!!! So what if I was in danger, what if I was with someone else, I don’t think an employee can make this kind of desitions on their guests behalf.

I was dissatisfied to ask at the restaurant for ice and 75% of the time I was told they had no ice. However, the hair dryer was broken and I alerted the maid and it was changed immediately. So that impressed me.

« Noisy hallways but comfortable small rooms »

Location was alright, we didn’t want to be in the Hotel Zone, and this was a good alternative. Conveniently, a grocery store and pharmacy in the same building. I was surprised at how I could hear everything that happened in the hallway, and we were not right by the elevator. No top sheet on the bed also surprised me, but the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was moderately good, having a dairy-free diet is a challenge for me anywhere, so it wasn’t a surprise to have it here as well. Overall I would likely stay here again.
