V Friendly staff, as always. After I had checked out but was hanging around, they kindly asked if I was looking for a quiet spot to work. In the room there was a little noise from the trains, and rain in the room, but not problematic. Room otherwise all as it should be. Overall very pleasant stay.

« Several faults with the room, one of which was not fixed before we checked out »

On the night I checked in (Sunday) I notified reception of faults with both showers, the lamp over the sofa, and the fact that the room had not been vacuumed properly. The lamp was fixed on the Monday, the shower in the bath was fixed on the Wednesday morning just before we checked out. The floor was still not properly vacuumed, and the main shower still had not been fixed properly.

« Novotel Suite: A good concept »

hi, this is at least the 3rd time we book this hotel when coming in Paris. The room are well thought, with enough space and a good location to reach quickly and easily Paris downtown. The parking is really an added value, but unfortunately not possible to book in advance. This time (w/o kids), we took the breakfast late (after 9am) and as a result it was chaotic as too crowdy.

« Good facilities overall, too close to the railway though »

Overall experience was good. The room is quite spacious with enough room for 3 people. Location is in a quite neighborhood with limited choice for dining. Although the hotel is situated on the outskirts of Paris, it is only 4-5 km from the Eiffel Tour and l'Arc du Triomphe. There is also a suburban train station right across the street from the hotel. Two critical points are: the window from our room was right across the railway and the noise can be quite disturbing; and breakfast service was understaffed which meant we had a long wait to get served.

« I expected much more from a Novotel hotel »

As a Gold member of Le Club Accorhotels I requested the possibility of upgrade to the room I had booked, but I was told it was not possible because it would be a too long stay (8 nights) and there would be other clients willing to pay for the Excutive suites. When I called the customer center to complain about this attitude, they changed the speech, and said there were no available rooms. Then, 36 hours before the check-out, I asked for a late check-out (with extension of 6 hours) which was granted by the receptionist. However, my last day I have been called from the reception at noon inquiring me when I would leave, because it was already late. She was not aware of the late check-out. The hotel includes a small supermarket (Monop'daily) but the prices are two or three times higher than any other shop. It is supposed to be a service for passengers, not a profitable business corner, I guess. The overall maintenance of the building is not good, with burned lamps, some stained walls and a big broken glass in the gym which has not been replaced.

Hello if you are staying for business trip in Issy/Meudon area it's quite good location; Staff on the front desk is very friendly except one short guy with glasses - i saw his smile just once on the picture on the table. Most appreciation to the tall girl with black curly hair - she usually works on day time. I was rude forget her name, but she is incrediable, fantastic nice and make you feel very special each time when you are asking for any help of her, same for tall black man in glasses (usually works at night time - no name as well, i'm sorry :(. Also was really nice guy who is tall with long hair. No names i'm bad on them. Elevator were scratched & quite old but get renovation. Was suprise for me since I came back to the hotel not sober after nice dinner :) Bathroom has not door. You feel cold when you are taking the bath, or cold when you finished your shower. It's better to have separate room. Breakfast are very poor... I had 2 weeks same food :( absolutelly same, no changes for 2 weeks. I even skip it on Saturday & Sunday, since it was better to go out & eat. So better to book the room without breakfast if your stay more than 3 days. far away from the last metro station (15 mintues by walk), but you can use tram then 4 stops & you on porte de versale (I hope spelled correct way) In compare with Russian Novotel service is quite poor - no robe, no sleepers (5Euro per pair), no shaving kit, no teeth kit, for shampo/shower gel same thing on the wall. BIg TV no Russian Channels or other intertainment one. Very business hotel just for 2-3 days max staying.

Checkin: the receptionist seemed to be a little bit stressed, wasn´t very polite, didn´t checked my bill-to address (usually taken from my Member Account), so the bill is wrong addressed - I already asked for an updated one by eMail yesterday. Room (314): cleaning can be improved, the air hood in the bathroom is really dirty, the same for the edges of the shower door (photos are available). The windows pointing to the car wash needs some service, it doesn´t close anymore really tidy. Breakfast offer was good, some improvements at the dispose of the used dishes would be fine You send me the link for the online checkin, which doesn´t work

« Staying in a hotel today is so different from how it was in the 70s and 80s »

a sunny Monday in October 2018, pleasant high speed train to Paris Gare du Nord, change to metro link in Paris, get of the metro at the metro station closest to the Novotel at Issy-Val de Seines and it is only just across the road from the station. Marvellous! Checking in is as a regular customer so easy. Wireless fast internet access is logically included in the room, the extra drink also. Spacious room, separate seating area in the room with sofa and wide screen TV set … which I did not use. Shower room, really good stuff. Nice. also bath tub. From the windows in the room you can see the trains pass by, but there is hardly any noise that you will hear in the room. I liked my stay.

The stay could have been much better. We advised the hotel prior to arrival that we will be arriving early. We were told that it would not be a problem checking in early and would be given a room if available. When we arrived we were told at check-in that since we were checking in early that it would be an additional 65euros per room we had 2 rooms. No one advised us that there would be an early checkin fee, i spoke with Cherin prior to arrival and she did not advise us that there is an early check-in fee. The air conditioning in this hotel does not work, we were assigned rooms 301 and 312, both rooms were always warm even though it was on. Our room 301 was changed to room 305 because of the A/C. Room 305's a/c was not working as well. No compensation was offered not even an apology. Breakfast at this hotel was aweful, we have to make our on eggs, are you kidding me. And this was considered a 4start hotel. Not in my book. I don't think i'll stay here again.

All very average. At this price point I would expect things to be better. Air-condition unit wasn't working. The room was very noisy. Floor was dirty. Pillows were uncomfortable.
