« Great staff service and comfortable stay! »

Staff were really helpful, room was clean and comfortable. Other than the maintenance noise going on above our room during one morning, it was an overall a pleasant stay.

« Excellent location »

Excellent location, good breakfast. Room was clean but very very small. Rooms and restaurant run down - stained armchairs, paint coming off furniture, chipped crockery.

« Expensive regarding the service »

No plug to charge my phone near the bed! No elevator?! Poor decoration with some scratch on it It's no the standard for a 4 star hotel I think

« Small room in good location »

I expected a bit more for the price. The location was good though. As it was close to central metro lines and landmarks. The room was very small. The shower cabin was very tiny. A petite person could barely fit in it. If you're staying for longer than 2 days I would recommend you to stay elsewhere.

« Tiny room in good location »

I booked this hotel on a short notice. The location was great as it was close to metro lines and landmarks. However, the room was very small. But worse of all was the super tiny shower. A petite adult could barely fit in it. The room itself had barely enough room for our luggage. It was an decent place but nothing extraordinary. If you want more comfort during your stay or are staying for longer than 2 days I would recommend you look elsewhere.

« Not really a Mercure standard »

Shower cabin is so small that it's almost impossible to get in. Staff is friendly, though too intimate some times. The Romanian receptionist's jokes about Hungarians were funny in the beginning but got irritating after some time.

« Not really Mercure standard »

The shower cabin is too small, almost impossible to get in.Receptionist's jokes on my nationality did't bother me in the beginning, I take it fun being an easy going guy, but it got irritating later. Some of my compatriots wouldn't have tolerated it.

« Needs maintenance »

Central location, nice common area with a small courtyard, rooms nicely done but in disrepair (had a look at several rooms and they just lack maintenance and a thorough cleaning). Status benefits where not delivered.

Firstly, I must give the highest thanks and praise to Mr "Mika", the Hotel's front desk mgr. His personal assistance in helping us with a problem was very much appreciated and indeed, he was always cheerful and willing to make our stay better. The hotel is small, giving it a lovely "intimate" feeling. All encounters with staff were pleasant and the place, both public areas and the room, were clean and tidy. The decor is a little dated hower the cleanliness and tidiness minimised that effect. The room was up to Accor standards, as I have come to expect, although the water controls at the bath were somewhat incomprehensible, probably made worse by the extraordinary long times it took for 'hot' water to get to the taps, at times. Overall, a very pleasant two nights there, thank you.

« ok but service overall was poor »

Room was small be nice. As a Platinum customer i was upgraded so probably had a better experience than my colleagues. No free water, no gift. Breakfast was ok - took 4 times of asking and 30 minutes to get coffee - the couple next to us left without even getting theirs and said the service was so bad they would not come back. asked reception to get me a taxi - but told they could not get one so walk to the taxi rank. had to pay on check in - which Platinum card holders do not need to do. would not stay again.

« Renovation is an emergency!!!! »

The localization is nice, but too old and dirty for a Mercure Hotel! The carpet has at least 25 years....or looks like this. TV was not working properly, the air conditioning was broken and you can hear the conversation in the rooms around. Luckily we booked only one night!

« Hotel is very shabby and needs carpets and decorating ,room cleaned well each day but badly needs maintenance. »

The hotel is very shabby and badly needs decorating throughout .The carpets on the stairs leading to room is threadbare and does not fit properly .walls need decorating .We stayed in room 207 and the air conditioning was very poor .The handle on the bathroom door was hanging on by 1 screw and the paintwork In the bathroom was split and flaking .The handle on the shower cubicle was broken and the toilet roll holder was hanging off .However the beds were clean and room and bathroom were tidied every day to a decent standard . I would not stay here again and would not recommend to anyone . The reception staff were helpful and friendly . This hotel badly needs money spent on it if it seriously wants to compete in a city like Paris . My experience would put me off booking with Mercure again .
