Staffs were quite cordial. Services were prompt..to note, Check in and check out were hassle free. Rooms were spacious for family stay and were clean. Except for being a bit costly accommodation, we all had awesome experience.

« Nice Hotel with great staff. »

This was my 2nd stay in Novotel Chennai Sipcot in a year. It was good to see plenty of familiar faces working there again. We arrived late at night but check-in was still very smooth and easy. The room was very nice with A/C running, so nice and cool. Restaurant staff were super friendly and efficient. Housekeeping made a great job of the room each day. Overall, a great place to stay.

I'm well satisfied for good service by this hotel staff totally. Also facility are well managed and maintained to keep clean and sufficient environment. The Restaurant, workout gym, swimming pool, entrance hall, and customer room totally fine. But, also I must notify several rack of manage,,,, At 3rd July night, restaurant has installation day of liquor (good), but significantly noisy and lost tidy manner. Before that time, well kept to manage clean, adult atmosphere, and relaxation place as good for accommodation. If it is not manageable, we must abandon the liquor or stay? In other thing, Incorrect return of laundry is often. At the last, I want t say, deteriorate bath towel or hand towel should not use for customer. I hope, Novotel Sipcot manage everything with tidy manner I appreciate further improvement and better manage, Regards,

« Decent hotel apart from poor air conditioning and my issue with mosquito's in room »

Generally the stay was okay. The air conditioning in the room (1408) was poor and the room would not go below 22.5 even when an engineer had visited and set the temperature to 16.5. My biggest issue is that during my time in India when I was outside I wore long trousers, socks and shoes and kept myself covered in DEET spray. In my hotel room I was more relaxed as in all my previous trips over the past 18 years the hotels have had mosquito replant in the rooms. One night I was bitten 9 times by a mosquito in my room as I slept, I know it was in the room as I was bitten on the sole of my foot which was only ever uncovered in the hotel room. A colleague of mine raised this with someone on the front desk on the 28th of June and nothing was done, not even an apology was offered to me when I was with him in reception. When I checked out on the 29th of June the bites were by this point clearly infected as they were swollen, red and larger than one inch in diameter. This time I received an apology but no practical advice or help as to how to treat them even after showing a few of the bites to the gent on reception (he was clearly taken aback by them). I travelled home and on my Doctor's advice went direct to Accident and Emergency from where I spent five hours in hospital being treated and then being sent away with an extensive course of antibiotics. Amazingly I was treated in my local hospital in the UK by a Doctor who was born in Chennai itself and he describe the bites as "nine points of significant infection" and questioned the level of hotel I had stayed in as he would not have expected this in a decent hotel in Chennai. Five days after being bitten I am still in significant discomfort and need to sit with my leg raised due to the ongoing pain.

The staff were very courteous, proactive and ever ready to help in which ever way they could. the room service was also pretty quick. Though it was my first with your hotel, I thoroughly enjoyed my short stay. May be you could consider providing Netflix for guests in the premium floors. Please check the remotes for the TV. the remotes don't work seamlessly.
