The check-in was not smooth at all despite of me coming at 9 pm and in room dining service was pathetic. You charge for your food like any 5* hotel but the quality is extremely bad both in terms of taste and services. I will never ever stay on your hotel.

I came to hotel at 4 pm but room was not ready. I was told as there were late checkouts , it will take sometime. I left my luggage, given I’d proof and left for office. I came back at 11 pm but I heard same thing that room is not ready and it will take sometime Ideally they should had kept my luggage in room by then and should had kept room keys ready. I had to wait for another 10 mins

Breakfast was not complimentary, Room size is not enough (felt congested), bath and toilet room door should be sliding with lock facility (current setup causes lot of inconvenience), there was no door for bathing area (water was spilling over to adjacent area), no extra drinking water bottle was available at room, private parties could happen some other areas other than Gym and swimming area.

Ideal location if want to be in the southern area of Chennai away from the hustle and bustle of city life. This hotel is also only 5 mins away to the sipcot IT park. I highly recommend this hotel. The staff are extremely welcoming and humble throughout my stay. Solomon, Kartik, and the chef's especially Satyan really do make ends meet to ensure this hotel remains to a high standard. The food is top quality in the time Square restaurant. The chef's made food that beats a lot of the restaurants I go out to in london. They'll make food to your taste requirements. You only need to ask and they will not hesitate.

« Sub-standard facility, poor upkeep »

Prior to arrival, I had requested for a Queen or King size bed but got a room with two twin beds. No one at the reception could even trace my email which was acknowledged by the hotel. The mini bar was empty and had to request the hotel to replenish which they did and the beer provided was a cheap, local, "strong" beer with high alcohol content called British Empire! The door to the store and garbage area opposite my room was always open, emitting a strong smell.

« It was ok, but I expected more from a 5 Star Hotel in terms of Value added services such as laundry. »

The room was fantastic, the room facilities were adequate and the Bed was very comfy. The Bar was ok, with limited drinks available to guests. The restaurant was very good with a good selction of food each day, however if you are visiting TCS you often ate the same food for lunch and dinner. All staff were polite and helpful. The swimming pool changing facilities were a bit lacking and the laundry service was not as good as I have experienced at other hotels (e.g. TAJ Fishermans Cove). I had a few issues with some of my laundry arriving back late, being returned with marks on and not being charge the special promotional rates displayed around the hotel. I also had issues when checking out with regards to the bill where special promotional rates had not been applied for laundry, my daily allowances had not been taken into account and there was no offer of some form of Breakfast given I was leaving at 03:30am in the morning.

« Shockingly far below expectation »

1) Had to literally fight to get a non smoking room 2) Poor housekeeping. The folks forgot to clean my room on 31/01 and I had to call twice to have someone come and put water bottles. Asked for 3 but got only 1. Thankfully I had a spare bottle in the room from the last restocking. 3) Your house keeping broke the soap holder in room 1707 and did not even bother to inform me. 4) Food is average and you should have more continental options. I do not like spicy food and the options for me were sparse.

Nice being so close to FLS. I have only minor remarks to make regarding restaurant and food. Breakfast could be better. The bread for breakfast is dull and the cheese and sausages are tasteless. The coffee is very good. The buffet is good, but the waiters need to be more attentive when guests wish to order something different. If giving out menu cards, they should come back within 5 minutes and afterwards seek eye contact with guests to see if they are ready to order. We experienced some long waits on this point.
