« Generally very satisfying and excellent value for money »

We were very happy with our stay, the staff were always very courteous, obliging and nothing was too much trouble. The room was good with a bar fridge and tea making facilities and the bed was enormous! The breakfast was varied and plentiful catering for European and Asian taste and having a restaurant on site was very convenient.

Great room 711 very small however room 507 was excellent apart from shower floor was very slippery when wet, may I recommend a floor mat rather than the towels we needed to use instead , which goes against you none environmental policy with laundry usages

Overall experience was great. However, one of the concierge was not interested in helping us and didn’t care to make an affort and he was on his phone (he was working around 10-11pm on 9/1). My family and I arrived at the hotel pretty late on 9/1 after our schedule. We were starving and I wasnt familier with the area and didnt know where to take my family to get some food like ANY FOOD ( we were so hungry) So i asked concierge if there’s any place we can get some food. All he said was “NO everything is closed”. I couldnt belive that EVERYTHING was closed in Hanoi at 11pm- and there’s NOWHERE to get any food. I did a quick research in front of him and found a lounge bar that might have some bar food. i asked him if he can call them and make sure they are open and serving food becuase it was rainy outside and i didnt want my family to get there and not be able to eat. (I only had Data available on my phone, no phone calls) Then, he refused to call and kept saying that it’s a bar and they have no food. So we gave up getting help from him and decided to just walk around until we found some food. Less then 5min walk, we found a street full of restaurants serving dinner!! i was very very upset with your service. The fact that he didnt make any affort to helo us was disappointing. You should train your conceirge to be more helpful for your visitors.

The accommodation was amazing and the staff were truly outstanding, nothing was too much to ask. Can't fault the staff for their attentiveness at all. Good job The food options were outstanding for anyone without dietary requirements. Buffets supplied a huge range of options. However, I did have an issue with the conferencing options as I had notified them that I was both lactose and gluten intolerant. No options other than fruit were supplied for me on any days which was disappointing and frustrating. One glad wrapped plate with an option that accommodated my requirements would have been great, but day after day, nothing. Something to consider for future delegates. In an age of rising dietary issues, this should be offered. Otherwise a good stay. Thanks

We stayed there for 2 nights followed by another night some days later. All went almost perfectly. Exceeded our expectations apart from the breakfast service which was a little slow and items were not available at times.

We stayed for one night and enjoyed our stay. The room was small but very nice and clean. The only negative was that the TV had very poor signal which meant not all the channels worked and the picture quality was quite bad.

Staying at MERCURE Hanoi La Gare is a great experience; a true example of outstanding hospitality by hotel staff in every area. I stayed in many Accor hotels for the last 5 years and the staff in this hotel is just outstanding; I’d like to highlight the superb service and attention of some of the staff I was able to ask their names: Nga yo & Thung Nguyễn at the front desk, outstanding service and assistance, thank you for the warm welcome and fatewell. Hang Nguyen restaurant supervisor during breakfast, outstanding assistance and nice smile to see in the morning, she made my day even happier and I witnessed how she was looking after all possible guests during breakfast; a true example of hospitality. Nguyen Thu Tuy at lobby area and restaurant, what can I say? Other hotels could learn about how she greets and take care of guests, I didn’t want to leave the hotel! I’m looking forward to my next stay! Thank you all other staff I was unable to ask their names including the guys helping with the luggage and taxis when needed, keep up your great attitude and outstanding service to make your hotel a must place to stay while in Hanoi!
