Mecure Liverpool Sydney Hotel is a very good hotel. The facilities and amenities were excellent. Had a great service at the restaurant and excellent service by the staff. House keeping staff were excellent as well. On a sad note, the front line staff were not so friendly. I found them (of my 4 nights stay) to be arrogant and abrupt in approach, until they found out that I was an ACCOR Gold member. A smile and hello would be courteous regardless of ( maybe my ethnicity/skin colour or just a typical stereotype as a person). A just small gesture of smile and greetings would make any guest feel warmly welcomed and appreciated. The check out staff was very nice and friendly. Nonetheless this still doesn’t under rate this hotel in anyway. I still loved it. The decor and hotel location was wonderful and good in many ways. I would always use this hotel in future.

Although the quality of the room was nice, the food available at the hotel was the same as it was when I was there 4 months previously and the reason I didn't dine in every night I was there (4 nights in total). The room service menu was also the same and the quality of the food was below average. I was also very disappointed that the gym was way across the other side of the complex and with road works going on, it made it very difficult to want to get there in the first place. In the dining area and where the main bar was located was very dim and dingy and at times thought I was in a rest home environment because the entertainment available was catering to the older demographic group. If you catered more for the younger generation and brightened up the facility, I am sure you would attract in more clientele. The breakfast of paying $20 for the buffet breakfast I feel is too much, especially again when the quality of the food was below standard (the bacon on two occasions were burnt), there were no eggs left and the spoons looked dirty that I was reluctant to use them. This is a staff issue where your hosts are not keeping the utilities clean and presentable and the kitchen staff not keeping a closer eye on the food. Overall, I was disappointed. I am a silver member and when I asked for my points to be transferred onto my membership, I was advised that you don't do it because you are a franchise (and because my company booked my visit). I advised the front office staff that when I go to the William Inglis hotel, they are more accommodating and happy to add those points that I have earned onto my membership. Your reluctance to do so means that I will avoid coming to stay (I come over every month for business) and will continue to stay with William Inglis Hotel should you continue to be unwilling to transfer my points.

This is our companies Hotel of choice as we have now moved our branch to Prestons in the new estate so very handy for our staff. My only complaint is I do not like warm breakfasts and believe the coffee could be better which has been my experience on the two times I have stayed there? Other than that this Hotel is in a good position if you get everything working well as a lot of business people could stay there with all the new business building going in on the other side of the M7?

Comfortable room with friendly staff. Being attached to the Liverpool Catholic Club provides options for meals. The hotel breakfast was not very good as the bacon was luke warm and the tomatoes did not taste very nice.

My husband and i had a short stay in the Spa King Room. It was very well appointed and spacious. We treated ourselves to the mini bar and with yummy room service food (Chicken Wings were a favorite!) Also the Buffet breakfast was delicious. Complimentary water and chocolates were nice. The Bathrobes and slippers provided was a nice touch, which made for a very relaxing stay. The staff were friendly, very professional and their level of assistance provided was 10/10. Thank you again for a very welcoming and enjoyable stay.

Upon Arrival the Staff are very warm and welcoming the room is always ready wen I get to the room it is fresh and the curtains are open everything is at my fingertips and the comfort is just right . The Club atmosphere next door is very nice and eating facilities are just great. Noise level in Hotel is very low ideal for sleeping in those comfortable beds.
