Great location to walk to exhibition and local restaurants. Very comfortable room and good size beds. Staff very helpful. Breakfast was good too. Great location to get around Nice old town and beach front.

Stayed one night in this hotel with good location in Nice. We spent over 1 hour driving to the hotel and park the car since we arrived Nice because of road constructions / blocks but parking the car at this hotel is another challenge here. Parking sign is not clear but both sides of the narrow street are fully occupied by different cars. Parking space is small and very limited but other visitor can park his/her car across two parking lots such that we spent quite some time to settle the problem. The young lady was helpful in assisting us to park the car finally but she miscalculated our price. After the frustration from the traffic and parking, we still have to verify the bill carefully. This gave us a poor first impression to Nice.

Didn’t realize that it is a lousy hotel I am really upset that they don’t have hot breakfast in the morning No gym The reception is so uptight and they make you feel that they are doing a favor by letting you in

Good value for money and location near the old town and place garibaldi. As long time Le Club Accor member I always make reservations online and my profile is on file. Reservation did not take into account any of my remarks linked to the reservation or preferences the chain has on file. Why a section to note your remarks linked to your online reservation when they disappear on the final confirmation used by the hotel. Very disappointing.

Nice Hotel, close to the Port, Parking may be an issue

I've stayed at several hotels in Nice over the past 10 years, this one is nicely located close to the Old Town, but has a small parking lot, the closest Public one (Indigo) is closed on Sundays. There is another one (Port), but is really expensive and some road works make it abit difficult to reach. The Hotel is in the average as an Ibis Styles. We had some issues with invoicing, but we managed to sort this out. All in all, I would reccomend it for a short stay without a car, in which case its close proximity to the Old Town and Port are really a plus.

The receptionist on the arrival was a bit rude and we did not receive a welcome drink as a silver members. The hotel itself is perfectly located close to port, stations and old town. Very easy to find .

Comfortable rooms with great beds and also a bit bigger than expected. Good service experienced from friendly staff members. A few paid undercover parking spaces are available, but it could be rather tight depending on the size of your vehicle. Breakfast was acceptable, in spite of being quite busy at times. Overall we enjoyed our stay, as it is within easy walking distance of the old town's attractions.

With IBIS Styles it is sometimes hit and miss. I was not overwhelmed with Ibis Styles Vieux-Port. I found the breakfast very sober, the room make up room service inconsistent, the price too high for what you get. Plus points: location near old city and supermarkets, own parking garage (for 14 euro's per day and mostly suitable for small cars).

Room was of good size, bathroom clean and good towels, aircon a little noisy. A small fridge would be nice for keeping soft drinks, fruit etc. The cabinet space was to small - needed 3 shelves for shirts, underwear and sweaters in stead of 2. A drawer under the desk for small pocket items like sunglasses, phone chargers etc. would be useful

We booked our stay at a Ibis Styles expecting a superior experience (better accomodation, better trained staff, better breakfast) than a regular Ibis hotel (on which I have already stayed several times). It was totally the oposite - given the HIGHER price you charge over a regular Ibis. We found accomodations (bedroom furniture and bathroom space, as well as overall hotel spaces and amenities) to be INFERIOR to other regular Ibis hotel. Staff was undertrained and impolite, mirrored by the following situations: 1. On our arrival, faced with several people waiting, the receptionist was not able to attend them on a first come basis, resulting on a long wait (20min) to check in. When we were finally attended to, the same person was interrupted 2 times by her colleague to attend to other matters, making our check in last another 15min. 2. On our arrival we asked for a parking slot. We were given number 15. Later that day the same receptionist called our room to tell us that our car was wrongly parked, that it should be on 16. I replied that she had told us it was 15 and that was the number that she ha written on our key cardboard, but she kept not acknowledging it was her mistake, implying we were to blame. Ended the call saying we could stay at 15. On the following day, we arrived at the park to see that the number 15 was taken by another car. Went downstairs to what had happened, to which the same lady told me to park on 16. When I asked if I should park on 16 from then on, the same lady simply answered "I don't know" and walked away. On the third day, we arrived to the park to find that number 15 AND 16 were taken. Again, went downstairs to ask what I should do. The same lady told me to park on number 10. From then on, number 16 was always available, but this clearly not an organized parking service Ibis should feel comfortable charging €14 (!!!) per day for. 3. On the checkout day, the gentleman who was on the desk was not trained with Ibis checkout procedures. Was clearly nervous when I told him I wanted to checkout, took aprox 10 minutes to locate our stay on your IT system and was not able to do the math on how much we add to pay for city tax and parking (I had to help him do the math). Total checkout time took us 25min. 4. Overall, staff was not helpful (everytime I went to the reception to talk about the issues above, was clearly treated dismissively and made feel like i was being done a favour) an uncomfortable with speaking English. Some simply did not speak english, others were upset and rude when understood they had to speak in English with me. Overall, I was very disappointed with my experience with Ibis Styles Nice Vieux-Port. It was my first try with Ibis Styles franchise, and will definitely not repeat, as it is clearly not worth it. Will think twice before booking another regular Ibis as well.

The reception staff were very pleasant. The room I was allocated had mould in the shower and they readily moved me to another room. The original room was rather odd with a huge amount of floor space, which, I concluded was intended perhaps for a wheelchair user (it was also adjacent to the lift). I was happy with the new room which had a more conventional layout and plenty of natural light. I can’t help feeling, however, that I was allocated the original room because I was a single traveller. The breakfast offering did not seem to be as good as other Ibis hotels I have stayed in, however, there was a large group at breakfast which might have explained the apparent lack of choice. The lady in charge of the breakfast area was extremely helpful and friendly. I liked the fact that coffee was available in the foyer, together with a daily newspaper.

The hotel is old, the room is big, but the air conditioning is not work's, and the sheet is bigger than the bed, and they need to clean more the bathroom..

The hotel location is good, and the room was clean and comfortable but not much space to hang cloths. The shower-head holder was broken making it difficult to take shower, and despite numerous mention to the reception desk, it was never fixed during our 3-days stay! In general, most of the people at the reception/front desk, except for one lady, were indifferent and rather dismissive to our requests and questions.
