In general, Novotel brand is always the crown jewel of accor hotel group. usually in the Middle East, the standard of all hotels is below what we see elsewhere, but this Novotel in Dammam was as we expect. great place, great staff, clean...

Personnel was so kind to give me a suite for free for my membership. Buffet restaurant is extremely good. Restaurante a la carte has limited dishes. Excellent kindness by the hotel personnel. I will surely go back there.

Service is below expectation. I've been staying at Accor-member hotels any where in the world whenever I go either for business or leisure trip and I am somehow familiar with the Accor brand of service. In this member hotel, something is missing and that needs to be improved massively - the Accor brand of service. I suggest to have the front desk personnel to undergo a refresher training on hospitality to enable them to serve the Accor way.

The hotel is located in a very nice place with adequate services to support any business trip. Although the gym is a bit small yet would serve the purpose of exercising after a long day of work. The room sizes are acceptable with all required services. The internet connection and speed are v.good to finish work and browse the internet. The suite is spacious and equipped with nice facilities although far from the elevators. However, the rooms require more attention to the maintenance of the provided equipment and fixtures.

The hotel property is good but the staff is disgraceful foment know meet and greet customers. I am preveledge partner gold card member for Accor and own a Mercure hotel as per Accor Group lot of preveledge is given to Gold Card Member but this hotel all staff is very unprofessional I will highlight the points as follows 1 Worst Check Inn experence I was waiting for checking for 20 mins receptionist was busy lokking what other receptionist is doing and gossiping with other receptionist when I requested him 4 to 5 times he agree to check me inn As a prevelege partner gold card I should recive discount on food upgrade and welcome drink voucher I asked the receptionist and he simply denied and said don’t show me your card you are already paying so less money for room I will not give you anything I simply checked inn and said ok. After checking inn I went to the restaurant in which buffet was laid but food quality was not good and again I tried my lunch for discount for my Accor Card they simply denied and said we do not tecagnoisr the Accor Gold Vard and we do not entertain this I paid the bill. Again in the morning I came to reception and requested for my invoice and requested to give my discount for gold card he misbehaved and simply denied that and said go and do my complaint I will not give you any discount we don’t have any knowledges about the same. I think this is most unprofessoional hotel I have ever been stayed Please don’t use this property as the staff is very unprofessional and not polite at all.

« Bad bad bad experience during my stay »

Dear This to inform regarding an incident that took place on Wednesday 30 August at Novatel Hotel Business Park. Allow me to explain; I reserved a suit from the Accorhotels website on my account and I had room 401 and at that time I asked for the iron and ironing board and the brought to me a damaged one and when my wife started to iron it sparked in her hand and the electricity went of, my wife got afraid and she dropped the iron on the floor carpet after that she switched the light of her mobile on to find the iron which was hot and she lifted it from the carpet to avoid a fire. Then she called for the maitenance staff who came to report and fix the problem. I was transfered to another room 107 and the offered me a welcome fruit basket to make us happy. The next day the report was incorrectly written to plame my wife that she was ironing on the floor carpet. Manager ask the front desk manager to have me pay for the carpet and in that case I refused. Today I was shocked when the staff called the police men to come to the hotel to resolve this problem. The duty manager refused to have me contact the hotel manager to negotiate this matter. I am really disappointed of what happened and I have a plan to file a case in the Saudi Commission for Tourism as early as I can and request a componsaition of what happened to me and my wife.

I use the Novotel for Business trips and have never had a bad experience. The rooms are always tidy and clean . Housekeeping is of a very high standard. Check in and Check out is very efficient .

« Two main issues »

Wifi was absolutely horrible. I could barely open text messages on Whatsapp. This was my experience at all the time and throughout my stay. The second issue was the humidity. It was extremely humid. Even in countries where it was humid, the air condition was kept the indoors cool and fresh.
