i loved the facilities of the hotel but hated the service quality. I've requested a specific room type o when booking through ACCORE App but didn't get it. the bed mattress was old and very uncomfortable and i was not even greeted with the complimentary drink. there was only ONE reception staff attending all guests which made me wait longer than i should to be checked in AND when checked out.

Decided to stay at his hotel since I’m loyal to Accorhotels brands. When I checked in, I ask for welcome drink since I’m Silver member. However, the staff informed me hotel did not offer welcome drink to Silver member. Is it true? Hopefully one of accorhotels customer service will contact me to clarify on this. As for rooms and location, acceptable.

The overall experience was barely satisfactory. When checking in at the front desk we asked about the hotel restaurants to the staff, but we didn't get a clear explanation of the restaurants and options available in the hotel itself. The room was large but very poorly illuminated. The toilet seemed unable to flush at the beginning, but after informing the front desk I received assistance to make it work. The TV could use some more channels in English. The food and the sheesha were decent at the cafe restaurant downstairs and at room service.

Generally good but a few areas to improve: The floor of the shower didn't drain all the water very well. The air conditioning was very noisy. In the evening the restaurant only did a buffet which was quite pricey. A la carte would be helpful. What I liked was the open lobby area which was great for meeting people and a lovely place to relax. Also the staff were all very helpful.

Very poor cleanliness. A low budget hotel is much more hygienic than Novotel Dammam. Such a big brand doesn't keep black tea in tray. When you ask they dont have supply.

I had done online check-in and was informed that the room key will be ready and need to approach the priority check-in counter. On reaching the hotel there was just one staff at the reception. The staff was trying his best to check-in guests one by one; I was #5 in the queue. The priority check-in counter was unmanned; so had to wait. So overall it was a wait for 15 min. No use of doing online check-in. Note : Have rated highly during my stays at Ibis (also an Accor brand). Also, as per member privileges, I was waiting for welcome drink; but nothing offered. Note : Have rated highly during my stays at Ibis (also an Accor brand). The room was upgraded for free; which was good. Have a suggestion on the breakfast. Please take Ibis as reference; they offer breakfast for early and late risers with limited menu and a full menu buffet breakfast. But surprisingly, Novotel just has one full menu buffet breakfast starting at 0630 to 1030. Usually the company shifts begin at 7 and requires about one hour travel from Novotel. So if you have to leave the room at 0600, there will be no breakfast.
