I was felt very happy during my staying in the hotel because the employees recognize me after a long time that I was stayed in the hotel (2 years approximately). I think that the bedrooms need to an update to guest feel more comfortable. The mattress is horrible.

Thin walls in rooms means you can hear ever sound coming from the next rooms. Horrible directional signage in the car parking and elevators and stairwells leave customers dragging their heavy suitcases and wandering up and down and in circles trying to escape the parking garage.

The room was never in a clean condition, room location on the front of the hotel is very noisy from the road. The house keeping never made the bed the way I made it every day of my stay, very annoying. My parking pass, even after changing it, never worked and every day I had to request help from that parking attendent which is very difficult due to the language barrier. Laundry bags and papers not in the room. When asking for a bag I was given a clear bag, very inappropriate.

Very small room. Two skinny bath towels. No face towels. Small refrigerator in Unit (nice!). Free indoor parking ( I didn't use it). Functional business- class hotel with no frills. Good for business travel. But not good to bring your spouse (my spouse complained ), she liked other hotels in town better for slightly higher price. Overall satisfied. Stayed only one night.

Not same Ibis standard as other Location (e.g. Sao Paulo). Free indoor parking. Very small room. Reminds we of Japanese budget business hotels. Abundant hot water centrally heated, not the electrical shower head. Only skinny bath towels. No face towels. Small refrigerator included (nice). Good for business if travelling alone. Not to bring your spouse with you. Very friendly and helpful staff.

It was ok, but I felt the front door attendant should have offered us a welcome drink at the check in, since we are le club clients, but she did not. At the check out I asked her about it (hoping that she would then offer us) but she informed me that I was supposed to ask for this courtesy. Well, I am not sure about that, I understand that one should not have to ask to be welcomed, but anyhow, I would like to leave as a suggestion my opinion on this issue.

It took too long for the receptionist to finalise my check-in, despite the fact that I had already made the reservations by phone one month before. The rooms were not ready by the time scheduled for check-in and the paperwork was too bureaucratic. I arrived at noon and the rooms were made available at 2:30 pm. It was inhumane on their part, considering my daughter has special needs. Besides that, I was told during my phone contact, that I had a credit to receive due to a special family rate, for I had paid the full rate in advance. Upon check-out, the receptionist alleged that there was nothing in her computer system that indicated I had this credit. What a disappointment!

Nice hotel, very well located, nice parking. Only thing that we missed was a nice breakfast - we had to pay extra and quality of the breakfast was not that good. For that room rate and paying extra for breakfast, we would expect better quality. Overall, it was a good stay with room for improvement.

« Not very satisfied with ibis at this time! »

- Upon arrival there was no clean sheets/towels available. We had to wait. Same following morning; - Information on meals cost and varieties did not match with the price charged and the options at the restaurant; We complained but nothing was done; - Restaurant employees (Divino Fogão) (not all) rude and impatient; - On the bright side: maintenance of our hair dryer was really fast and efficacious (less than 15 minutes!)

« Always a good option in Poços de Caldas »

Ibis is one of the few hotels which will NOT include the three meals in the price. Although eating out could turn out to be more expensive, it is preferrable to have to eat at the same place always. There are plenty of good options at walking distance. WiFi worked well and parking in loco is included. Internet check-in was great and we had our keys to the room and parking badge in about 3min after arrival. Great!
