I had requested airport shuttle and late check-out at the time of booking but received no reply. I extended 2nd night stayfor business reasons. I arrived after 10 PM at receptionon 2nd night, they made me wait 45 mins at the reception to sort the extension, even though I had phoned the hotel reception at 2.00pm. I wanted to use the washroom & asked if I could come down in few minutes but they paid no heed & didn't validate my card. It was inappropriate as I was ready to come down to complete the formalities. It was not my fault they there system was not updated about my extended Stay.

Our room was 350. The room toilet bowl is dirty. It has black dirt at the bottom. I hope i got a picture to show you. When you go inside the bathroom the smell is not nice compared with other hotel we've been. Its our 2nd time here and the room window view is not good compared to our first stay. The unfinished concrete roof is blocking the view. Maybe next time we will just check in again to novotel al bustan rather than in the gate city branch. The hotel room there is better. Lobby staffs are also not approchable or should i say they are not greeting guests or maybe just us. But the receptionist when we check in is fine. We booked online and also did online check in. I thought it would be quick when we reach the hotel since we did online check in but still we waited in queu because there was only one receptionist that time. During breakfast we picked our table and the staffs knew it bevause they asked where we want to stay. After getting food we saw one guest sitting in our table. Though there are still available table we hope that the staffs should at least managed the situition. Inform the other guest that the table is not available. We didnt bother to take it because there are available table but what if there is none? We also dont want the other person to get out of the table. Such situation should not be happen if at least the staffs will be attentive. Oh by the way the valley staff during our check in was not also helpful. In other hotel they will show nice gestures like opening car door, greeting, etc but when we arrive the valley staff didnt even greet us. But the valley staff on duty when we check out is fine. Sorry we forgot to take their names.
