« Ibis Merida delivered a very enjoyable experience. »

We really liked the service, the place and the experience provided by the hotel and its restaurant. The employees were helpful and polite and the service enjoyable. The only thing is that we found odd that we got two bottles of drinking water in our room at check in, and after that we never got any again, which is a minimal setback but one that did stay with us, for some reason. For the most part I think we will be staying again at an Ibis hotel when needed. Thank you.

« Ok stay. »

Hotel is clean, pillows are terrible. Beds are ok, not the most comfortable but given the price and location, seems fair (tho pillows can be improved big time!).

« Scary »

I will give you this, your hotel experience goes side by side with your charging price, and this is OK, I am paying for just the things that I need; a bed, a bathroom and quiet. However your hotels are not set for old adults or senior citizens. Your bathrooms are not ergonomically for the needs of a person that has limited movement for its age, the counter top is to high, the sink is far to the back and hard to reach and the most important thing of all, your showers do not have a rail or anti-slip floors. The last part was scary when my Dad failed during his shower, and Thankfully that was all, just an scary moment.

It was okay until I realized the pillows were dirty and stinky. Quite nasty. Also, there was no small towel to put outside the shower as there normally is.

« Good Hotel but need Maintenance »

The first room assigned at the 5th floor had a horrible smell of glue. We asked the reception to switch to a different floor. Now they gave us a room at the 4th floor. The new room had a problem with the access key. The receptionist tried to open the door using a master key but also faced the same issue. After several atempts the door opened. The above issues faced is a clear indication that such hotel lack good maintenace. Very bad experience indeed.

« Nice Hotel »

I was staying at this hotel last minute due to losing my passport. This hotel was very helpful, clean, and the staff were very nice and pleasant. There is a restaurant inside that also have delicious food as well. Very close to the US Consulate office, where I was going and many places to shop and eat as well. You get a lot of culture experience as well.
