The staff is very rude and arrogant. It took one hour and three calls to get water in the room. Also my car was parked outside the hotel making it full of dirt. I think hotel should have proper parking facility. I am Accor plus member and this is my first experience at Novotel Juhu.

hotel property needs upgrade and better maintenance. amenities in room should atleast include moisturizer, separate soap for hand/ face and body, better quality shaving kit. room furniture and carpet should not be worn out. better noise reduction; i kept hearing noise from neighbouring rooms till 2 am. access to beach was closed due to a wedding beating the whole purpose of staying here for the location. kids play area is a joke. pool didnt give towels and we had to bring bathing towels from the room. But the butter chicken and pizza we ate and BF spread was really nice

1.5 hour wait to check in with the staff constantly telling us “15 more mins”. No do not disturb sign availability. Too much policing around noise. Only saving grace was the nice room, views and breakfast.

I had to choose this hotel because the ones I usually stay during my business trips to Mumbai was quite full this week. When I reached the hotel, I liked the location. It was on a quite locality and on the beach. The check-in took ages. The chap at the check-in did not know how to block payments with a GBP card. After many tries, he succeeded. In the meantime, he was putting the blame on my bank which made me to call the bank just to be reassured at all being ok from their side. I had a premier booking and was allocated a room at the 6th floor which had a view of the beach. The room itself was a bit tired- some of the colour from the furniture was off, there was stains on the sofa and one side of the sliding door was off the hook. However the bed was well made. I think the departments that works well in the hotel is the housekeeping and the in-room dining. The staff at the restaurant were cold. No courtesy to come and ask the guests rather they would wait for guests to call them to ask for tea/ coffee etc. Worse still, we were given wrong information when we went for a meal one fine evening. We were told that they would not server drinks and need to go to the bar who also servers à la carte only to find out from the bar they do only starters !!! huhh... The only positive about the hotel is the beach. The hotel has direct access to the beach. It is a nice sandy beach and very clean- although you do expect stray dogs when you take a stroll in the morning. The breakfast is quite sumptuous tool. It has a great selection and most importantly they make every little change each morning so you do not get tired of. The bar is no different from the rest of the hotel. You will struggle to find a staff there and when I walked down to the counter to ask for Smirnoff Vodka, aah I got such a stare from the counter chap as if I should have walked into a roadside dhaba instead of checking into his bar. Ok, I settled for absolute !!! Again, endless wait for someone to come to you. If you book premier package, you will have access to the premier lounge. I have never been to a lounge so dull and quiet. Wore, it has less variety in breakfast than the restaurant downstairs !!! They offer free drinks and snacks at the lounge between 6-8. Not sure how would people manage to get back to hotel before 8 amidst the rush hour traffic. I could not avail any of those. Overall, the service in this hotel as compared to other hotel in Mumbai is non-existent -throughout. Or perhaps, after staying in top-notch hotels in Mumbai including Novotel in Bangalore, I had high expectations from Novotel as well.

Rooms require refurbishment and looks very tired. Bed sides not level so not usable. It's a good location and with renovation and painting will lift the overall appearance of the property.

I paid a bomb to stay in ur hotel as i heard alot good about it . I was alloted 510 room Nd when i entered the corridor of 5 floor it was stinking bad so bad that if someome stands there for 20 mis they ll fell ill . I told house keeping by thy said sir aisa hi hai yeh. Thn my room was non smoking bt to my surprise when i entered it had smoking smell and agn i told house keeping. thy just did some room freshner and said it ll b ok . Which it didnt and finally i called reception for room change and thy refused saying thy dnt have rooms A 5 star hotel whos corridor is smelling like there been ill dogs living in that corridor and non smoking room with smoking smell and pathetic customer service It was a disaster staying in ur hotel will never come back or recommend anyone . Ill put this on fb and twitter too .

I had to argue with the front office for getting a better room... what is the point in being a member of accor plus... next day morning my mom passed away and I was rushing to airport at 7.30am without having breakfast and still the front desk insisted me to pay for 2 breakfast... already once it was charged to my card and again they took cash 1700 rs... no understanding or humanity.. Useless manager..

Overprices compared to amenities and comfort and hospitality . the worst is the people's attitude . housekeeping and front desk , they make you feel as if they are doing a favour to you . last time too I complained about housekeeping and this time it was even more worse, the rooms were stinking, the corridor was stinking, we changed the room but no use , tea kettle was missing , Iron was missing while the board was three , room cleaned but water not kept , ac not functioning and even after repair it was warm whole night , after screaming and shouting housekeeping manager got it checked and found out that the thermostat is not working and hv to be replaced which was not possible during the stay . while check out in the morning, i was shocked to note the executive did not even greet either Good morning or thank you.. and he asked me if i settle the bill by pay cash or card where as the Deposit by Card was already there , After i informed him he checked and found the same surely the hotel does not need guests like us and I refuse to stay in such a hotel where there is Zero Hospitality
