Upon check in, we were given a room on 3rd floor which had a partial sea vie on one side and road side which overlooks on garbage .the room furniture and carpet are outdated( not expected from Brand NOVOTEL )The Toilet was pathetic and dirty.When we called the reception we were told that our booking was for this category.Its really unfortunate that Novotel has this kind of category.I can even believe that the lady could justify this.Why should anybody pay Rs 12,000 for such room.later on we were given another room on 6th floor which was decent.

First of all room was not given on time , second reason is as a member of accor group I can use my coupons for room upgradation that was also not accepted as it was complementry rooms same was not informed earlier, third thing dental kit , shower gel and everything was not there in bathroom same thing had to called over phone , they took half n hour to get my luggage in room

« Not as good as I expected it to be »

I did not like the vibe of the place. The rooms were clean but there were stains on the carpet. There was a constant humming sound coming from the A/C. The quality of bath essential products was not good. The food was one of the worst hotel foods I have ever eaten. I also did not like the payment method of paying extra when checking in. On the good note, the view from the room was great and the WiFi worked at excellent speed.

Very third class treatments to guests! Management policies are not designed for people but only to grab money from them by all or any means! Staff people are good! But helpless due to management policies! Food is good! But hotel building architecture is completely wrong disappointing guest’s expectations that they have booked a beachfront hotel! Don’t believe in their claims about sea view room or city view room! Non of them are giving any of it fully which they claimed! Owners of hotel group and policy designing management people doesn’t want to follow business ethics! They only need people’s money that’s it! They thinks guests are the most ignorant entity in the property! N guests are not worthy of living in their property though they have booked the hotel by paying in advance completely! Don’t travel by your own cars! As they don’t have any facilities for car drivers if you are travelling with drivers! Also they don’t believe that guests are habitual of brushing their teethe! You need to make a request for the dental kits n other things! And yes carry some cash to deposit with reception while checking in for your small consumptions if any and or other services which you may avail during your stay such as laundry etc! As again they don’t believe that people will settle the bills while checking out! Either policy makers have intentionally designed such pathetic policies to humiliate guests or they don’t consider Indians are eligible to live in any of so called star rated hotels!

« All good and the location right on the beach adds so much value »

All went good from the check in to check out and everything in between .... the icing on the cake was the gesture from housekeeping team and Mr nadu gawade in particular ... on check out i forgot to get the 3 Lindt chocolate boxes kept in the refrigerator in the room. and also forgot about that until Mr Nandu followed up with trying to contact me by phone and informing about the same .... most importantly he had these in his safe custody for almost a week before i collected that on 9th march ... kudos for this customer service gesture going much beyond the call of the duty ... This have made the short stay of 2 nights even more memorable after our checkout .... thanks guys keep the good work up and by the way both the restaurants were very nice olio and food junction ... things just add up and must say that my colleague from USA who was staying with me was very pleased ...as well ...

After a dissappointing booking at a lesser known hotel we booked our rooms with Novotel over the phoen and arrived within the hour to lovely clean rooms and great front of house service. During our stay the staff was extremely accomodating and helpful. With the exception of a slightly wonky bed and a tv that didnt work; we only tried to watch on the last night before our flight out of Mumbai so it was not a problem we enjoyed our stay and the breakfast was delightful. A family friend that stays with you twice ayear recommended we stay with you and we will definately come again should we be in town.

The location is on the Juhu beach, neighbours include upscale apartments and a few other hotels. Food is good or if interested one can venture out to many other restaurants in vicinity. Room quality (sea facing) is great. What I would have liked better was a softer pillow...maybe it could have been provided but I did not ask for it.
