As a Platinum Member, my first choice is to stay at Accor brand hotels. I've been loyal to the brand due to the exceptional customer service, however, my experience at the Novotel Juhu was subpar. As a guest who has been loyal to the brand for a long period of time now, there is a level of customer service that is expected. The room was fine, however, the front desk attendant’s customer service was unsatisfactory. Upon check-in, although my arrival was not expected, which is fine, however, the attendants didn’t provide the level of attention I have received at other Accor hotels. For example, I kindly requested an upgrade, if available, as this is part of the perks available as a platinum member, the attendant informed me that there were no rooms available, but upon checking my Accor app for room availability for the same day, the next level room was available for sale. I was staying for two nights, therefore, I asked if there was anything available the following day, but the attendant informed me that nothing was available as well. I checked the app once again, and noted that there was availability. The following day, I called to inquire if there was any cancellations and if an upgrade available; the attendant informed me that they would get back to me, but I didn’t receive any update call. I then went downstairs to check in person, again they informed me that they would get back to me, but there was no update. I can fully understand if there were no rooms available, but the information from the app and the attendant was conflicting. Overall, the hotel lacked the level of customer service that I expect at Accor Hotels. The housekeepers were very friendly, however, the front desk attendants seemed uninterested and ingenuine. I regret spending a significant number of points for my stay here.

Rooms were not clean, when it was already known that rooms will be shared, no towels were arranged, water bottles were only 1, quality of food was just worse. Never expected this from Novotel.

« It was simply magic. »

The renovated, upgraded rooms were magical& mesmerising. My children were dancing after entering the room on seeing the upgraded rooms with great interiors. The Novotel has become our most favourite home away from home. We have unanimously decided to stay here more often. Thanks to Abhishekji at the reception who cordially upgraded our room and made our stay highly enjoyable.

Infrastructure needs to be improved. Rooms were not so greatly maintained with furniture not polished, bathrooms are bit cozy. Bar spaces were not so maintained with sofa and chairs covers torned. Food too expensive as compared to similar properties we have stayed.

The rooms are not of 5 star hotel quality at all. It was like Oyo rooms, standard TV with no HD, some chinese brand toilet setup (instead of Jaguar kind of thing), shady lights, average quality mattress, small rooms. I will never repeat this hotel, only decent thing was breakfast.

Generally we opt for hotel stay and first thing which comes to our mind is clean bed linens and bathrooms with modern amenities , but when ur bed linens are full of stains which looks old , dirty and your bathroom shower has no pressure , bathtub has no drainage lid, how can u enjoy and take the feel of an hotel. I was staying in room no. 501 with my family and when your 5 year old kid comes and says that the fittings are coming out of there place and let’s move out back to our home then , how do you feel? Kindly take this matter seriously and work on these two issues to get 10 out of 10 next time.

The reception staff is good and well mannered , house keeping are also good. The beach security staff needs to be trained well on how to speak with clients, they need to tone down ! "Mr Pawar" was quiet rude with junior staff aswell as clients. His no care attitude will be a liability for the hotel. Beach access gate has signboard which says entry is till 8:30 & we were at the gate at 8 pm sharp after finishing our small snack break at Gada da Vida; but Mr Pawar on the other side of intercom was adamant to allow us go out, despite request by junior staff . After we told that if we aren't allowed we will complain..he finally budged to us. Such people don't deserve to be in hospitality industry who don't care about clients. The junior staff told him that customers are right in front of them still he continued to be rude, speaking bossy words and not co operating...

I’ve stayed at this location at least twice a year for many years.The location is fabulous & service is great.The hotel started to look outdated but it is being renovated now & I can’t wait to be back in January to see it.I highly recommend this hotel to every type of traveler.It’s proximity to the beach makes it even more beautiful to watch the sunrise & sunsets in this hectic city.

I spent three very relaxing days in the Novotel. The hotel is a bit outdated, but you have a nice view to the ocean. The service is very friendly: especially Neha and Ritwika at the reception were very friendly and helped immediately. A visit to the O2-Spa is highly recommended. The four-hand massage was great. I especially recommend the lunch buffet with numerous Indian and continental delicacies. Thanks to the whole team of the Novotel.

We stayed at Novotel Juhu for 4 days last week, enjoyed the excellent environment with ocean view. Very courteous and happy staff. I must say extremely high standard of cuisine, coupled with great restaurant atmosphere. The food was fresh, cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. It has a wide choice of superb breakfast menu. We would like to thank the Food Manager Shreyas Bhagat and specially the chef J. P. Evengelist for preparing the delicious piping hot Jalebi’s served with Rabdi. We have been here many times and it has consistently exceeded our expectations.“ Will be back.“

The state and condition of the rooms was acceptable. Staff were courteous and helpful. There was good variety of food on offer but the waiters at breakfast time seemed busy and not as attentive to needs of guests. The condition of carpets in corridors was poor. The use of aroma lanterns became obvious during periods in the day when they and AC to corridors were switched off as the hallways had an unpleasant dank odour. They need fresh air and windows offering sun to prevent the odour from building up. The sight of birds on the edges of the pool, drinking from it with their feet inside the water alarmed us. The birds, especially pigeons, are vermin and carry a lot of germs in their beaks and feet. The special expedia rates confirmed at booking were not honoured meaning the final invoice was much higher. This only became obvious since our departure.

The location of some rooms in the hotel are ideal as they face the Juhu beach, which can be seen from the windows. Cleanliness of the rooms is exemplary with all amenities provided. The breakfast room is also ideal as it overlooks the Juhu beach. People provide service with a smile and checking in and checking out is done smoothly. However the front desk at times seems short of staff and we have to wait there for getting a room. This service should be made quicker. Also essential toiletries like shaving cream and razor blade, toothpaste and toothbrush should be available in every room and not only be placed on demand. As a guest you at times have to check in have a quick shower and shave and depart for work. Staying in a classy hotel of this calibre you expect to be provided with these amenities and so do not bring your own. Hence these should always be place din the bathroom, so there is no delay.
