Stayed for three days the stay was excellent the complete family was there six of us and we were very well looked after the GM MR manish and his staff looked after us and we felt at home the food in all the restaurants was excellent and the service par excellent

Even though priority checked in in advance, hotel staff kept us waiting for 1 hour& allotted room at 3 pm on 5th floor. Due to sp much noise due to repapring on 5th floor we can't stay & requested to change the room but failed. So we self checkout with luggage at reception so finally allotted room at 3rd floor at 3.30 pm. ONE COMPLIMENTORY NIGHT AVAILALBLE FOR THE FULL YEAR MEMBERSHIP TOTALLY WASTED

It was a good choice. The staff was excellent, the rooms were the best. Although the location is far from the most touristic places, there were many alternative to get to see them. Very secure, we never had any problems when we walk around the neighborhood.

Everything, including lobby, elevator, hallways, restaurant, etc looks tired and old. The room however, was disgustingly dirty. It was obviously not cleaned properly after the last guest. Random hairs lying around, used toothbrush in the bathroom. Further, broken bathroom fittings made things more uncomfortable. Some staff in the coffee shop cannot be bothered. They will not even look at you when addressed. The guys at the ocean facing bar however were courteous, but not efficient. Never again.

Having stayed in nearby hotels and other hotels outside India, must mention that this hotel needs to look into cleanliness and conditions of furniture particularly sofas in Lobby. Also needs to improve the speed in providing items to the room, when requested. Room was quite nice. Breakfast caters to Indian appetite and great. Transportation to/fro Airport was efficient.

I selected the hotel as it was rated as a top 10 hotel in Juju but unfortunately it is not. I can see that at one time it may have been, it now seems outdated and in need of redecorating/ refurbishing. The reception area has chips in the wood panelled walls. The pool area has cracked tiles surrounding it. The bedroom has the wooden floor badly scratched where the furniture has need dragged across it. The shower has a good feature where doors open out into the bedroom and you can shower whilst looking into the bedroom or TV but unfortunately the glass was full of water stains. The mini fridge was set to off so all the drinks were warm. The bar overlooking the beach is a really good area to relax and enjoy a drink but I found the drinks to be extortionately priced, over 4 times normal prices. The dining area also need refurbishment, nearly all the tables have cracks and chips in the marble tops. Also, the hot buffet breakfast was not hot on both days we ate in there. I would not readily stay in this hotel again and would certainly not rate it in the top 10 for the area having stayed in other hotels in the area before. Staff were pleasant and helpful throughout our stay.

« Worst Novotel stay ever ! »

This Novotel is poorly maintained, we booked 2 rooms for a family stay and both had numerous stains, plaster patches on the walls; their was dirt on all window platforms and the furniture had numerous chips and tears. On check in there was a very distinct lack of welcome and very different attitude from all the other hotels we have stayed in in India which can best be described as indifferent and completely uninterested in any guest requests or concerns. Whilst there, there was a continuous stream of irate guests at reception and a minimal number of hapless staff trying to cope, the management really do need to invest in both staff and training as this was by far the worst Novotel experience we have had and this is certainly way off it's advertised 5 star rating.

Room and toilet was dirty. I requested a room change but the other room was dirty as well. Windows, carpets, washbasin and couch all had stains. Hotels needs a complete renovation and better management. Location is good with private access to the beach. Would like to visit again if the hotel keeps up to it’s name.

i am a regular guest of Novatel Mumbai, Day by day the quality of service is getting terrible of this property. Air Condition wasn't working of the room in the night which they were aware of it but still didn't informed prior to me when I checked into property....upon asking the response were terrible from the staff. In Room Dining took more than 1hr to get me Ice Bucket in the room(Mr. Jackson). Rs.18000/- per night for pathetic service. I checked Out of the property in Middle of the night.

The hotel is old and not clean, it needs renovation. Too crowdede and i waited 1.5 hrs for check in. Too much noise if you stay at the lower floors. Overall i think Novotel should consider renovating and paying more attention to cleaning.

The hotel was badly managed with ill-trained staff. More importantly, it was very dirty. I stayed here 2 nights. When I arrived the corridor outside the room was very dirty. It stayed that way for the entire trip. No one cleaned it for the duration of my stay there. The room smelt of mould. I will never stay in this hotel ever again.

My room had stains on the carpets which were frayed. Crud in the shower. No hand towels or toiletries were left after the room was turned over. The front desk staff did nothing to move me. They offered to move me the next day. Offer people were screaming at the staff because of their rooms being in the same shape and they were moved. So I suggest start yelling from the start or just stay at the JW Marriott down the street.

The property is located on Juhu Beach, which is awesome. The service at times is pathetic. The rooms need maintenance and house keeping was never prompt. Many of the facilities like swimming pool were just average.

While the location, service was good, the facilities are a bit run down. Ingrained stains on the seats, taps, walls around cistern unappealing. Scratches on floor where the bed has been dragged makes the room looking very tired. We stayed in room 631 and have visuals. Bubbles on concrete walls from moisture is concerning. One other patron made a scene and I assume received upgrades; We were unwilling to but did give feedback to reception. Friendly and helpful staff and Airport transfers plus points. Appreciated Pleasing to walk along Juhu Beach and witness the efforts made to clean it up. Disheartening to see some locals unwilling to use rubbish bins provided

Disappointing experience. Hotel facilities are jaded. Room was really average, and just disappointing. Only saving grace was the Sachin from Concierge who provided outstanding service. The rest of the time at Novotel was a huge disappointment to say the least.

Very surprisingly it was a very bad experience irrespective we being member of Accor Hotels group. There was a total mismanagement at the reception. They were not in a position to handle the guests,,, not aware whether room is ready, the person who scanned the documents left the counter as his duty was over or for some other reason.others were not aware of his disappearance. The staff was behaving like they own the property and doing favour.so check in was delayed almost at 3.30pm. We are having membership of JW Marriott and Taj Hotels but never came across such experience. We will have to think while we renew the membership. We are not shareing this with trip advisor as we are member of Accor Hotels as on date. Hope you improve.

Overall stay was great. The staff was was very accommodating. They even found henna mehndhi tattoo artists for us. Only had issue with resting at night-dogs barking. Beach view room but one side a total 180 of the other.

Very Bad experince, I will never recomend this Hotel and I will never book this hotel for my future visit, I had very bad experince during my visit on 13th May 2017, I recehed at 2:00 PM this their checkin time, they asked me to wait for 30 min as rooms were not ready. after 30 min again I approched to recepnist , they were not ready to reply , even they they were not redy see face to face , they again ask me wait for more 30 min . No one even senior manager were ready to talk . We waited 1 hr 20 min on reception just to allot room even we reached at 2.00 pm , they don't have any curtacy to give drinking water , Worst experince , I could not understand what is a meening advance reservation ,

A great disconnect in this hotel. My recent experience was not great. I get an email on April 25 stating hotel air-conditioning would not be functional for APril 26 2017 1 am to 6 PM. I called the reservation manager and spoke to confirm and she first said it was for April 26 and not april 27. I asked a number of times stating if that be the case please let me know so I can cancel the booking and change the hotel. I was asked my name and then she confirmed it was not the case. On 27th at 8 PM on coming to the room I get a slip note stating AC not functioning from 1 AM to 4 AM. I asked and was told that this was the case. I shared the email etc. . Manager on duty was good saying he would discount, but that was not the case. Even the coffee shop, one should eat early to ensure you get served what you want.The moment the restaurant is 50% full service quality drops drastically and one can really wait for the toast to get rock solid till the omelette is served. this is my second bad experience at this hotel in 30 days

i requested a interconnecting rooms more than 1 month before arrival. however upon arrival i was given separate rooms. this caused us too much inconvenience as we had children. one of the bathroom flooring was angled in direction that water wouldn't reach the drain. the staff are very quick to empty the breakfast buffet.
