« My room was let to someone else »

I could not make it to the hotel so I did not arrive. Somebody was signed into my room and they had been signed in using my name. It was a simple error, I'm just glad they didn't cause any damage which I may have been liable for as they'd been signed in under my name, I even had a phone call to say I had left items in the room.

Excellent Staff and we felt "looked after" for the three nights that we were at this very nice hotel.Although all the staff that we had dealings with were excellent, both friendly and efficient we were particularly impressed by Terri-Anne and Richard both went out of their way to ensure that we had a great stay at Ibis Gloucester. I have stayed at the Ibis in Gloucester on a regular basis for 6 years and have never had any complaints. Its clean comfortable and good value for money. The staff are consistently good and the manageress Jo does everything she can to make sure you have a good stay at the hotel. Best budget hotel I've stayed in.

« the only problem was with the cleaning of the room »

I found everyone very helpful & polite.On arrival the room was clean & tidy though I was a bit surprised there wasn't any info regarding food etc in the room.I had breakfast & a couple of meals in the hotel & they were very nice.The only downside was when the room was cleaned on the Sunday, the only thing they did was to make the bed & fold a towel in the bathroom.Nowhere had been wiped & the cups were still dirty from the day before as they obviously hadn't even been touched

Staff service, attention and assistance was well above standard across the stay. Very impressed. A friend arranged for me to be met with a drink on my arrival. Brandon ensured that the minute I walked in the door a drink was ready. My check in experience was professional and friendly. The staff actually relaxed me after what was a nightmare drive within 5 minutes of arrival. Attentive, professional and demonstrating the can do factor was evident not only the first night, but also the second and the following morning. I was amazed to receive a phone call after my departure to let me know that housekeeping had discovered items I had left in my room. The member of staff who rang me chatted with their manager and between them they arranged for my iPad and other items to be posted in my home in Northern Ireland. This level of trust and professionalism amongst all of your staff across the board is rarely found. Please pass my thanks onto everyone for all of my stay from arrival to posting my possessions to my home. Outstanding
