« A great stay. »

My wife and I stayed overnight, the room was very clean had everything we needed.The bed was comfortable and a good size.The shower was very good the only downside was the towels a bit on the small side..Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice both hot and cold, food is available in the evening although we did not use this.Staff are very pleasant and well presented, checkin and out smooth and quick all in all great value for money well worth a stay..

The location is excellent for exploring Gloucester, Cheltenham and the Cotswolds. Check in was very busy when I arrived and although I had checked in on line my friends had not so they were kept waiting, also the check in staff also serve the bar so there was a long queue, an extra member of staff would have been useful.

Disable room was clean, basic and functional. Slightly unpleasant smell from bathroom, possibly drains not cleaned out for a while. Liquid soap dispensers only, no bars of soap provided. Breakfast - basic selection - no yoghurt available.

« Enjoyable hotel, comfortable sleep but tea making facilities poor. »

Hotel has good facilities and very comfortable nights sleep. However, I don’t think 2 teabags is enough for a 2 night stay. I had to ask for more teabags, sugar and milk on two separate occasions as these were not replenished over the 2 day stay. Our room card also didn’t work on the lift or our room on the second day of our stay.

I was more than satisfied with life aspects of the hotel. The room was very clean and bedding very good, breakfast was varied and sufficient. I, personally would have liked more variety of fresh fruit; but a minor detail as there was enough for me to choose from. As this break was a surprise for my husband and my first foray into booking on line due to being an 'oldie' novice! I was so pleased that all worked out for me, my husband thought the hotel was light and spacious and a good size room for us. Thank you for making our stay a pleasant experience. I must add that your reception staff were excellent, friendly with out being gushing.
