We had never stayed at an ibis hotel before so we were very unsure of what to expect. Great reception staff on arrival, lovely room with amazing views of the mountains and a tasty meal in the evening. unfortunately we did not have time to sample the breakfast in the morning but it smelt yummy. We will be back.

Noisy road, curtains don't block the sun in the morning. No tissue in the bathroom. The sink smells weird. Breakfast could have been better and with more choice, at least on the continental side.

Great room, breakfast ample, staff helpful and friendly, comfortable and clean Free parking if you register car details, which is easy to do. Only downside was our room was facing dual carriageway. Very noisy busy road, but not all rooms face the road. But don’t suppose anyone wants to hear the traffic. Otherwise this is excellent accommodation. We would definitely stay again.

the hotel is ideally situated for ease of catching a bus to Gloucester or Cheltenham. Breakfast was ample and a good variety. Bed was comfortable and shower was good. Only downfall was the room was at the front and the traffic was very noisy so not much sleep. On checking out said to receptionist, he said next time to let them know and we will be put in a room at the back. So rectified

We have stayed at this particular Ibis several times and have been than happy with the experience. However, our last visit was memorable because the mould was broken... we were disappointed. There was a sense that standards had been allowed to slip. The room was clean and presentable, the staff friendly etc but dinner was less good. My wife had a Thai curry which was fine. I had a Cesear salad. I had eaten most of it before realising that it was lacking some important ingredients, croutons and parmesan shavings. I would have liked the chicken to have been chargrilled but that is purely a matter of preference. I didn't raise the matter at the time as the restaurant was very busy and the staff stretched for such a relatively minor issue. Additionally, I had eaten most of my salad so there was probably no point in adding these ingredients. When the waiter came to ask if we wanted a dessert I explained that the croutons etc were missing and could he mention it to the chef. I also mentioned it again to the waitress when I paid the bill. When I checked out the following morning I was asked if our stay was fine. I hesitated but felt I should point out that the Caesar salad was not up to scratch. The response on this occasion was a little surprising. When I mentioned that the croutons and parmesan shavings were missing, I was told that they would discuss with the chef and perhaps they could add it to the menu in the future. I informed the member of staff that the two ingredients were actually listed on the menu already!! In summary, I raised my dissatisfaction on three occasions but the response was the same in as much nobody asked: "what they could do to put it right". The salad cost me over £13 not in my view good value.

Chose hotel because it allows dogs and doesn't charge a fortune like other hotels. £10 per dog is fine but then again £30 for 30 dogs is a lot, as there is not 3 times more cleaning.

Hotel was fine. The room was fine also. The only two issues were due to the weather the room was cold so we had to ask for heaters for the room. 2nd regarding room booking I didn’t get my members discount. This took some figuring out when there. After I checked in a still received emails from Accor regarding this which would have been more useful before I arrived at the hotel. I then revived several emails after my stay regarding my visit, service and Accor service. This started the nite before I checked out up to now. How many emails and surveys does one need to be sent

The hotel met our requirements as we were staying here to visit various places in the area. Modular bedrooms, well laid out in an acceptable fashion although more wardrobe space would have been handy as we were there for a week. All the staff we came in contact with were very friendly and obliging. We only ate breakfast in the hotel and although we like a cooked breakfast, I didn't find it very appetising - the sausages were rubbish! full of fatty lumps and bits of gristle - the streaky bacon was undercooked and therefore very fatty, the scrambled eggs were overcooked and unappetising and worst of all, no fried eggs which are an essential part of a full English breakfast! All other elements of the breakfast bar were very good but please do give attention to the cooked breakfast items

My husband and I stayed for two nights. Very comfortable. found the floor of the shower very slippy and for our age quite likely could have a fall. Our dinner was OK but on the first night because there was a bus load of people in we were not allowed to sit at the table and chairs but instead had to sit on high seats at a high bar which was not very good for us as we are aged 89 and 81.
