« Overall good -- wonderful food, clean room, nice workout facilities »

There were only two negative things about the room. First was that the room smelled musty the entire time; second was that the power was off in the room when I arrived -- which wouldn't have been a big deal except that we were charged quite a bit to check in early. In general, however, the room and bathroom were clean, the food in the restaurant was exceptionally good, and the workout facility was well-equipped and well-maintained.

Overall everything was good only the thing which spoil my Hoilday was that it’s was my daughters birthday n when I arrive to hotel I had asked the staff that from were can I buy a good cake for my daughters birthday n the staff told sir dnt worry we will tc of it n I asked very clearly that what ever is the cost of cake plz let me now I will pay u n he told me sir dnt worry it’s complimentary from us n I had clearly told him that plz send me only chocolate favour cake only n when the cake had came it was not cake it was a small pastry n that also some very bad orange colour which spoil my complete birthday of my daughter n that also it was night 12.05 that time even hotel was not having anything n I also could not go any were to buy the cake which disturb me while night

The stay was good, hotel and employees very kind and customer service friendly. I was not particularly happy with the room cleaning, however managed to make it work. I worked night shift and requested multiple times that my room not be cleaned until after 4:30PM as I would be occupying the room sleeping/getting ready. My room went a few days uncleaned cause the requested time was not met. The food service was great, I liked the notice on the menu stating it would take 30mins for food delivery. I felt the price to have the food delivered to the room was pricey, room service was used a lot due to my working hours it benefited me more to order room service than go down to eat. Overall, great hotel and wonder customer service.

I was not happy with your services. 1. Check in desk had only one attendant and he took a long time to check me in. 2. Room service: pathetic. I had issues opening the mineral water bottles placed in my room. Called up guest services to send someone to help me in that. No one turned up.

No western food choices. Pasta & Special handmade pasta (week we were there) was overcooked and multiple seasonings that should not have been in the sauce. Service takes to long.

After almost a long stay of 6 months in Novotel, Pune, Finally I got some time and opportunity to leave feedback and more importantly thank to the people who took excellent care of me during my every stay. There ware some small issues, however what matters the most to me is, people taking ownership to resolve it with utmost urgency. And that's what I have seen with these of the Novotel staff Thanks to Siddhartha (Sous chef) and Roshan (Chef). I use to meet then almost 2-3 times a day mostly during breakfast or dinner. Despite there busy schedule, long working hours. and what not, they always took time to talk to me, get feedback, know my preferences and always succeed in fulfilling my requests. With both of them I shared a friend bond and use to share and discuss various things other than the stay. I cant thank enough to Siddhartha (and Abbas) for taking ownership of one issue and resolving to utmost satisfaction. He is one of the reason, I continued my stay in Novotel. Cant forget to thank them for the execellent food they prepare. I would like to thank Margarine, Abbas (Duty Managers) whole heartedly. Every time I went to them with any request, they whole heartedly too were ready to help and definitely with no fake smile on their faces. Thanks a ton to Namita, for taking care personally my preferences everytime I stayed. I use to often meet her in Lounge, and she was always there to have good conversation about work, my stay, whereabouts in Pune and many things. Everytime I informed her about any issues with my room, she always genuinely took care fo them. I can not forget, my little Birthday celebration at lounge, its very rare someone doing this for there guests. Thanks to Ruchika, She is one of the best Front Desk staff I have met in Novotel during my whole stay. She understands guest requests without any confusion, and make a note of things so its not missed without taken care; which I haven't seen with most of the front desk staff in Novotel I would also thank Kunal (the guy from Himachal). Always had a good talk with him in the lounge. These people in Novotel Pune are the reason, its always my preferred hotel whenever I am on a trip to the city

I was there for 23 days and never felt valued,I am an ex hotelier myself and would know the names of all the long staying guests.. My personal preferences were never asked and adhered to, house keeping staff needed to be reminded of things again and again..I can go on and on

On a business travel, after a tiring day, you need your check in to be quick, room to be nice and food to arrive quickly. And Novotel did all that. Only one thing the welcome drink should be allowed to be delivered in the room. After a tiring day, no one really wants to go to the bar.

Felt the experience to be in very bad taste. Was used to be chased by waiters in the restuarant to sign food bill even when I was not done with my meal. It happened multiple times and finally had to literally give a peace of my mind to make it stop. The first thing I do is to tell my room number. Even in case if I miss signing there is no stopping of sending someone to my room for the signature. It has happened the first night when I missed signing and someone came to my room for signature. But that day too I noticed that even before I had entered my room, there was call to my room phone from reception ! Then I had to literally call and ask for everything I needed including toothpaste, body lotion etc. It looked like a budget hotel/motel with little amenities. Things within the room were at bare minimum. The room and the associated bathroom were extremely small with little room for one to move. Moreover the sight of pigs and buffaloes from my room's window made my stay even more disgusting. Overall I felt its a very cheap hotel.

Overall, pretty bad experience. My company had requested for airport transfers...it was not arranged and too much of confusion. Second, the billing issue. Charging for complimentary transfer with repeated telling not to charge. However, it was removed later. Calling the guest late night. Only solace was the person attending to us during the meeting, if I am not wrong..some name like Rishi (starting with R) who was serving us at Jade meeting room was excellent. Very customer-centric and pleasant to requests.
