« Poor service coupled with un-palatable food makes this a poor stay »

It took 3 hours and 9 reminders, including walking down to the reception, for the manager to get us an ice bucket in our room. Spoons and glasses which were ordered for even longer, never came. Breakfast was terrible. Nothing on the menu tasted even remotely good, and some of it was stale and spoilt. Breakfast being included in the package makes no sense. Checkin took too long and none of the requests were handled well. Overall very poor experience.

My stay at hotel was really bad as my ac wasn’t working and when i compained they just asked me to wait and did nothing. I had to sleep whole night in a suffocating room. Will not suggest this hotel to anyone!

Hotel is good and so is staff, however, Sunday morning rush was well managed and also would prefer if hotel has a shuttle from hotel to recreation centre as it is almost 1 km away from each other. The recreation centre is also not maintained, so that also needs to be seen.

« Very very disappointed - Overall Hotel Cleanliness, Front-Desk Staff Interaction »

Following feedback points: 1. Reception guys - The guy and the other people at reception were not as warm as we expect when go go on vacation, had an amazing experience in Bella Vista, MB but the reception staff was bit cold and not showing excitement which they should show. 2. Gate Guard - the old one, on our day-1 was a very nice and helping even the passing by people but there was a young one on our day-2 was not even there to open the door as I was with an infant in a stroller and no one from reception even cared. 3. Kids play area - horrible-horrible-horrible-horrible, there were dead flies, lot of duct, broken toys, totally a disaster - and moreover we found that area next day after breakfast but ideally the reception guys should tell us that the hotel features, we had two kids it would have fun for them if they had known about it in advance. 4. Cleanliness - the wash-basin in our room was horrible bad - it was Room #304 - pls check. Overall - seems like Mercure has not maintained this hotel and I felt like everyone is just passing their days and there was no excitement in the staff 5. Cost of In-Room - The rates were matching to 5 stars like Marriott for ex. the tea was 199 + taxes, REALLY??? Everything else was super expensive. I don't mind paying, but the star rating of the hotel should drive that not because the hotel location is not doing great, like Lavasa, and you charge high to the customers. 6. Breakfast Buffet - this was good even the Chefs and other staff there was very helpful. Overall experience was really disappointed.

The food was very bad in quality, service was not upto the mark.Basic amenities were not a available in the room and had to request them separately. Too many mosquitoes in the room, shower flow was too slow. Towels had bad odour. Rooms had bad odour. In a soundproof room there was too much noise from the corridors. The hospitality and service was not up to the mark of an international hotel. A Basic Tissue box was not available when requested.The kettle in the room had a bad odour.Totally not value for the money we paid. World over checkout timings is 2 hours less than the check in timing. HERE ITS 2PM CHECK IN AND 10 PM CHECK OUT!!!!

The pool and Gym should be part of hotel. If you have tied up with third party, the transit facility should be provided by the Hotel. Secondly the facilities at third party location were in worst condition. The pool water was dirty and change room were stinking.

Rooms are small.. beds are comfortable.. room maintenance staff is supportive.. restaurant food is average but the service is super slow & pathetic.. their tie up with Dasvino for recreational activities is in a sorry condition (no maintenance).. overall purpose of the stay should be the nature view and stay should be restricted to a single day

Rooms were neat & clean but smaller.. room staff service was good.. restaurant food is average, their service is super slow & pathetic.. their tie up with Dasvino is a sure shot avoid (zero maintenance).. purpose of stay should be only for nature view and should be restricted to a day long stay

They denied giving us the room until 6:30 pm and said they don’t have rooms although we had confirmed bookings via Make my trip. Then they said they will give us a room in some other hotel or refund us the money but will not give our booked room. Like imagine I have travelled from some other city to Lavasa just to get back my refund of hotel booking and hunt for another hotel in the night. After fighting a lot they finally gave us the room after 6:30pm. The bathroom was very dirty and the breakfast area was too unorganised. Food was over and they weren’t restocking even at 9:30am. No service in the breakfast area and so mismanaged and untidy. Worst experience ever. Will never recommend anyone. Wated our whole day fighting with them for our confirmed booking.
