Check in was a bit slow with only one person manning the front desk. Maybe it being a Friday holiday? The staff was very courteous and pleasant though. Room was clean, balcony was very dusty...facade cleaning was on I noticed and there was an intimation of this too at the room desk. Toiletries were in place and so were towels. The multiple stains on the carpet was a let down ( this has been mentioned in reviews by others as well). All in all a pleasant stay for an overnight trip, nice central location and I would like to return to use the facilities in the hotel and relax again, and opt for a city facing room! Thank you.

Me and my family had a good experience staying at the hotel. Rooms were good, neat but with carpets full of dirty stains. That may be the reason rooms were having little bad smell all the time. Besides this issue everything else was very comfortable. Room service was prompt.

Overall it was a pleasant experience staying at this hotel. The rooms although spacious require renovation. The old stained carpets could be upgraded with parquet which is also more hygienic. The beds are comfortable but compared with other hotels they tend to be lacking in size. The lighting can be greatly improved especially in the living room where it is restricted to the bar area. The TV in the living room is too small. The suite bedroom's enormous bathroom could easily accommodate two wash basins. It was fantastic to find two minibar refrigerators. The pool area was marvellous.

The welcoming was perfect. There was a small misunderstanding while checking in (invoiced price was not matching my reservation) but it has been handled very professionally. We received a voucher for a welcoming drink and even a small present in the room as a NY gift. We had dinner in the Sports bar since we had a very nice experience there already the last time we visited the place. The food was excellent! Basically our stay was perfect......only one remark would be: the curtains in the room were calling for a cleaning and also there were plenty of stains on the carpet......

I got a smoking room while specifically ask for non smoking room to the receptionist. the food was standard there is nothing encouraging to pay more as IBIS nearby having the same food and same restaurant. the restaurant space was very small for 2 big hotels

« Another good trip in Fujairah »

We stayed in the same hotel last year Sept, we were happy with the cleanliness, facilities and value of the room and restaurants meal package. We came back again this year but the rate has gone up slightly, everything stays the same, except this time we came in the Christmas time, so the hotel is very well decorated with a big Christmas tree and ginger bread house! We are happy and immersed in the festive mood. However, we think the restaurant buffet quality has gone down slightly, dessert selection also less refined. Otherwise, all good! Hope the hotel will continue to provide a better value for money room and invest more on food quality in the restaurant, to compete in this challenging environment ahead.

We generally only receive good feedback about the buffet but we appreciate that this is a very judgmental area and when only staying for one night the selection on a different day may have been more to your liking. I'm sure you can appreciate that hotel rates fluctuate regularly dependent on the time of year and local market. December is peak season and a higher rate should be expected, especially when compared to September which is classed as low season in Fujairah. I was told that meals were paid for by the company I work for. So I got room service and was told I needed a credit card, so I said I was told at the front desk I didn't. Then the waiter so no you need to pay. So I did. The next morning I exclaimed the situation to the front deskand they said it would be taken care of and the money taken off my card....it's been a month and the 44.38 USD has not been removed. Perhaps I missed something. Please get back to me if you can.

We have a great stay. However, we requested for extra blanket and it takes 2 - 3 hours and a follow up call before it was delivered in our room. Also my nephew accidentally hit his head in the swimming pool that cause his head bleeding but there is no doctor available in the hotel. Though pool attendant gave us plaster.

As a 4star hotel we do not have a doctor on site but we do have one on call should an emergency require his assistance.
