Came in the hotel with my husband and got helped through check in. Yousef assisted us on activities to do in and around the hotel. He also remembered a little note I made about our anniversary and we got a cake and juice. All this came in with a hand written from the general manager, a very nice touch! Pool and facilities were amazing, overall neatness around the hotel.

my reservation was cancelled. My credit card details are in my accor account. I was asked by the hotel to provide my credit card details through phone (which breach the policy of UAE CB). my reservation was canceled without informing me.

1- the ventilation is very bad in the rooms. 2- I asked to open the balacony to have a fresh air but with no luck. 3- Internet is very very bad. Even i did escalations. It is supposed to stay again in Novotel Fujerah, but I’m trying to change the hotel.

Our rooms are equipped with individually controlled air-conditioning to ensure air circulation and at this time of year the humidity from outside can cause the growth of mold and mildew, hence the reasoning behind them being closed. We hope you can appreciate our reasoning is for your well-being. We are sorry we were unable to resolve your IT problem, we provide 5mbps for free but if guests require a premium service this can be arranged through our provider. It was an okay stay. I just didn’t feel like staying in a Novotel Hotels but more like an Ibis experience. The biggest disappointment was the breakfast. It was just below average, the coffee from the machine tasted weird. And when we were there, we had to wait 20 minutes to get a seat because it was so crowded, there were groups that occupied the entire breakfast area.

Only one 'dislike' is that most of the the rooms seem to smell damp, but you get used to it after being in the room for a short while, seems like unhealthy building syndrome to me ........ Everything else great as always .......

The staff friendly and very helpful. The quality of the food more than satisfactory. It was disappointing to allow smoking in the the communal areas. The facilities for business users needs to improve. Wifi, although free to use was very slow. The first room I wall allocated was far from acceptable. The carpet was heavily stained in many areas and smelled very strongly damp. I was offered another room which was cleaner but still had a strong smell of damp. The third room I was offered was good in all aspects.

Whilst we are delighted that you were satisfied with the level of service received from our team and you were impressed with the quality of the food served to you, we are sorry for the elements that disappointed you. We identified that the anti-stain treatment is faulty and despite the carpets being thoroughly cleaned we have been unable to remove the stains. We have new carpets being manufactured and await delivery soon. Coffee and a cigarette is a traditional pastime and although I appreciate in many countries smoking indoors is no longer permitted until it is made illegal in the UAE we may have no choice than to continue to allow it. I have noted your feedback for discussion with our owners about future improvements. We offer free 5mbps of WiFi which you'll find is higher than you will find in most hotels so we are sorry it was not sufficient during your stay. Should we have the pleasure of you returning to stay with us again, we have a premium service available.
