Everything was great. The room was clean and tidy. The receptionist friendly and professional. The gym well equipped. The check-in process smooth. The only disappointment was the African man at the swimming pool/gym. He was a rude man with poor customer service skills. He is in dire need of customer service training.

It was a wonderful experience. I loved the pool, the bed was super comfortable, and the birthday cake was such a nice surprise for my birthday.

the hotel is very expensive for the minimal services they provide. lacking basic requirement to receive guest such as toothpaste (don't have to pay for it)

As you will now know, ibis hotels operate on a self-service basis so you will not find anyone available to park your car or carry your luggage and we only provide basic amenities in the room. This enables us to keep our rates low and offer great deals for our guests. A vanity kit is available from reception for just 15AED that contains items that you would expect to find if you'd booked a 4 star hotel such as our sister hotel - Novotel which is located in the same building and may better suit your expectations in future. I liked my room, especially that air condition was turned on whilst my absence, and it is really nice coming back from hot to cold place for getting rest. I liked swimming pool and also tasty food and its diversity.

At least need bill boy for support transfering the luggage from the parking to room. The temperature of the parking is high.

It was fine, I recommend having some assistance for the luggage

Like all ibis hotels across the world, the ibis Fujairah operates on a self service basis so you will not find anyone to carry your luggage. If we have large families or elderly guests we can assist with the help of the porters in our sister hotel, Novotel but they may not always be available. Instead we provide luggage carts at the entrance doors to assist guests. We appreciate you sharing your feedback, and suggest that when you are visiting Fujairah in future that you consider staying at the Novotel, which is based in the same building as the ibis and may better suit your expectations. Disadvantages: Cleaning was not up to the expected level, room area was very small, bathroom area very small, sometimes there were horrible smoke smell transferred from adjacent rooms although this floor is non smoking , parking very dirty and almost no cleaning . Advantages: Staff was doing there best to resolve problems, very quite rooms.

It was as expected, knowing the Ibis brand. Liked the fact that we can enjoy shared facilities with Novotel and Adagio. Liked the fact that the parking is free and covered. Didn't like the tyre killer at the entrance.

It is always a pleasure to receive positive feedback and we are especially pleased that you liked the free underground parking and free use of the facilities in our sister hotel - Novotel which is one of the added benefits of booking the ibis, Fujairah. The vehicle control spikes that we have installed are used world wide and will not cause any damage unless a guest drives over them in the wrong direction. This is the purpose of having them fitted as we have had a few accidents where guests have exited the parking area via the entrance despite no entry signs and arrows showing the correct route out. We hope you can understanding that we have done this for our guests safety and we hope you have not been deterred from staying with us in the future. As you will know we also have parking spaces on 2 sides of the building should you decide in future not to park your car underground.
