As you will now know, ibis hotels operate on a self-service basis, so guests are expected to bring some items themselves. Whilst we provide basic toiletries for guests wanting something a little extra at ibis, Fujairah we offer a vanity kit containing items that you might expect to find in a luxury brand, including slippers, a dental kit, moisturiser, and much more, all for just 15AED. We can see from the survey you completed that you were 100% satisfied with the service you received from our reception team and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff across the hotel. Very good hotel with polite staff. The food is very good at any meal. I like the shuttle bus service for the beach and the pretty big swimming pool. The only negative side is that it's pretty far from Dubai.

We are sorry that upon booking you did not realise the distance between Dubai and Fujairah, which by car is approximately 1 hour. We are however delighted you enjoyed your stay with us and are particularly pleased that you appreciated the shuttle bus we have provided to take you to the local beach, as well as being impressed with our delicious food served in Flavours our buffet restaurant and enjoying your time at the pool in our sister hotel - Novotel which is located in the same building, its the largest hotel pool in the city. I can see from the online survey you completed that you were happy with all areas of the hotel with the exception of your desire for a discounted rate so I'm very disappointed that you left such a low overall score. As you will now know, ibis hotels operate on a self-service basis so you will not find anyone available to park your car or carry your luggage. The added value for guests staying at the ibis in Fujairah is the use of the facilities in our sister hotel - Novotel. Perhaps you would be more comfortable staying there in future, with larger rooms, bellboys etc I'm sure your expectations would be fully met. We hope to see you there on your next visit to Fujairah. Dear IBIS, I would like to thank Safaa for arranging the booking and responding to my call back request regarding a review. This is the third time to stay at IBIS and Novotel Fujairah,and I was on a 3-day business visit. It is a great hotel , as the staff members offer a high-end service and exceptional care. I would like to thank : Karim and Lala, Hind ,Dawn and Fatima from the F&B, also Yousif from Novotel and Fatima. I really appreciate the way that they dealt with me. The room is small in area, yet cosy and coming with a beautiful city view. Overall, it is a recommended hotel,and I will book with you again. However, I would like to express my frustration regarding two guys from F & B: Alek and Sunil, I think they missed the “induction program” and some or ALL the Learning and Development courses :basic communications skills ,courtesy and introduction to customer service. For these two guys(Sunil and Alek) : smiling and listening to the customer is an essential part of offering a proper service, equally important is avoiding arguments , also answering the customer's questions clearly and honestly is a must-do. I urge both of you (Sunil and Alex) to sign up for basic courses in customer service. Regards, Omar

Breakfast was jam packed and it was shared with the Novotel, not a very good experience at all and not really worth the money. i wanted to use my points to pay for my stay but i was told on Check in that my credit card has already been charged. this is crazy and not what i'm used to at other hotel chains. the room was a little dank smelling, good be smoke.
