I had connected rooms for my family. One of the rooms AC smelled a bit and another one's AC thermostat was faulty. Thermostat was set for 23 degrees and the room temp was always below 20. i did not complained due to my short visit.

I had a great time. The room was clean and tidy, shower worked very well and the food was very good. However, I was worried about the Fire Exits. I do not use lifts and so walked up/down the fire escape. To my dismay I found my exit blocked to the 1st Floor by Kitchen Equipment. Also, there was an ashtray on the stairs and empty boxes laying around. These areas need to be kept clear. I did take photos should you want to see them.

Our team is very aware of the health and safety procedures at our hotel and although no excuse, during the weekend of your stay due to the high number of guests staying we employed several casual staff in our Food & Beverage Department. The fault is entirely ours that we had not made them aware of our obligations and can assure you that this will be addressed immediately. More hygiene is expected. Corridors were not maintained well, mats found to have lot of dust and stains. Safety levels to be increased and inmates to be advised with appropriate information.

Small room but quite sufficient for our needs. Friendly staff made us quite welcome. Didn’t go into the bar for a drink as it was very smokey, something we are not used to in Canada.

« It's the first time that I did not like my stay »

Since years IBis is my choice, and I have a member card, but this was the first time I got a room in 2nd floor, we could not sleep at all , too much noise from cars and people, next day I had sever migraine which spoiled our day.
