STAFF The staff are generally helpful and friendly. One member of staff who stood out from the crowd was Jummie who appears to be born with a genuine smile and gave me good advice on her own volition. It showed me that your staff member cares about the welfare of the guests!. ACCOR hotels you are lucky to have staff like Jummie! FACILITIES The rooms are generally well maintained. Some of the flooring in some of the IBIS rooms in my humble opinion represent a health and safety risk i.e. the laminate flooring is lifting, which could give rise to guests injuring their feet. The bottom line is that it needs replacing in some of the rooms. SWIMMING POOL One of the key attractions of the hotel and looked after and well maintained. DINING AREA There is a good variety of international foods and the staff were friendly. I would have positioned the Arabic breakfast foods with other international, near the other chilled cheeses as opposed to an Arabic corner'. Does Arabic food need to be a corner item. What message does it send? Sadly, I noticed flies on virtually everyday. I pointed this out to the staff. One mentioned she would mention to the hygiene manager but there was no improvement.

My overall stay was not too good as there were a few hindrances right at the beginning when my stay was cancelled by booking.com without informing me. Nevertheless, the front office agent with glasses helped me out in making a quick booking. The breakfast in Novotel all day dining restaurant was not that great, i asked for a cup of coffee 3 times but the waiter never brought it to me. The choices in the buffet were not only limited but they also did not compliment each other. Shanaka the pool lifeguard, was an amazing person to meet with and he helped me and my friends in finding thing to do in Fujairah during our stay. His suggestions really helped us out. In brief my stay was not that great but also not that bad either. Regards, Ambrose R.
