« Everything else about the hotel was great except for the payment »

Overally my stay at the hotel was as expected. The staff were friendly. However I was very disappointed in the way my payment for the room was handled. My company paid for the room and yet the staff insisted that I pay again, which resulted in double payment. Further to that, the staff did not process the refund on time after acknowledging the incident, which resulted in the refund taking time to be processed.

« It wasn't bad but the room was at its most uncomfortable. »

The room was very small, the bed was very uncomfortable that it made me want to just leave. The shower was another funny experience, there is not mid range to warm water, it's either freezing cold or burning hot. Pool was fine, breakfast was good because it was served in Novotel and not IBIS. Staff was pretty good. Overall it wasn't that bad but I wouldn't pay this much for the services provided. Won't be visiting again for sure and wouldn't recommend to anyone.

I can see from our online questionnaire that you chose the ibis because of it's brand reputation so we are assuming you knew about the self-service concept therefore we're surprised you have given us a low score for the lack of services. The ‘Sweet Bed’ by ibis features a mattress that adapts perfectly to the body for deep, restorative sleep. The ibis bed is renowned in the hospitality industry for its new sleep technology made with comfort in mind however we appreciate this is a personal preference and are sorry you found it uncomfortable. Likewise we are sorry for the issue with the hot water, had you notified us at the time our engineering team could have rectified the problem. All ibis hotels operate 'Mission 15', if we can't rectify an issue within 15mins , you get a free night on us. We hope you're bear that in mind for future visits. We are also sorry you feel you wouldn't want to stay with us again, we hope to have changed your mind but perhaps you'll consider our sister hotel - Novotel for future visits to Fujairah. Let start from the front desc receptionist they speak very good English proper very polite; they put us in the 13 the floor beautiful view, I travel every where this Ibis is so clean, I call the house keeping I am with them on the phone they already at the door Mr Moha is awesome person he bring me extra pellow & ask me if is anything else also the swimming pool Is amazing by the way for the new guest the pool is the biggest in fujirah nice ,clean ,beautiful view ; also the gym to many American equipment . The next day we did took the breakfast was so good with big verity thanks again for the exellent good teriffic services Sincerely m.

Food was nice. Staff were always helpful, they are nice allowing us to check out late. The room is unexpectedly small, although it is comfy enough. Could have been better if they could add some free cheap items in room by default such as bathtrobe & cotton buds.
