Clean and tidy hotel. Did not see any difference in the quality and value as against the Ibis Budget. Most staff were amenable although there was an embarrassing moment when one staff member thought I had not paid for the buffet dinner. Communication between staff could have been better.

Clean, small but comfortabele room. Good beds and good breakfast. Quick and easy check in and check out. Very friendly and helpful staff. Quite a long walk to the city centre but Girona is definitely worth a visit.

We have stayed In Ibis in France so we are familiar with the standard. The beds in Girona were very hard and uncomfortable and the pillows were composed of chunks of foam. They were extremely lumpy. We did not sleep well for our three nights. Reception staff - some were ok especially the girl with blonde hair. (sorry - didn't get her name). Breakfast was good.

Ga Families - 28/08/2019 AccorHotels review

Will make it brief 1- requested a crib which upon check in was told was avail when it did arrive the staff member left it literally half way between the door and the hallway and walked away. 2- no room service avail at 630pm so called the desk at 8 they transferred and was hung up on. This happened 3 times 3- my husband went down to the bar to place the order in person was told of a 45 minute wait while unhappy I understood.the food arrived 1hr and 15mins later ice cold and looked like plastic. I returned it 4- upon checkout the desk staff apologized for the food even though i disnt mention it and said "it was busy these things happen" 5- had parking validated didn't work so I went upstairs..was told no big deal and to hit the intercom and the gate would go up..the intercom didn't work I then had to go back upstairs was told "well your ti let is for hotel 4 not 3 so we don't hear the intercom..(this was the same person who I have my ticket to android me to hit the intercom)..she then asked another staff member who told her to go downstairs and manually open the gate..we go downstairs she can't find the lever I get out to help I can't find it either..she then goes upstairs and we are finally able to leave..this took a total of 15 minutes of back and forth. I am a platinum marriott/starwood member and travel a lot. I understand this is not a luxury or upscale hotel but this stay was terrible also the beds are horrible.

Not the firsttime and surely Not the last one. The staf was awesome , incredible service, all the people are so friendly. Price quality is great. Now we stay in a 4 star hotel and the service is nothing in compare to Ibis Girona. I’m journalist/cameraman and travel a lot. I wish everywhere I got the same service!

Good hotel except car parking can be an issue. Initially. Told no space availability in underground secure car park for our car full to brim. Did not want to park it on the street. Made a fuss and was allowed to park only to find 6/7 spaces free when I was initially told it was full so don’t know what the fuss was about.

Disappointing. We were not informed that the restaurant was buffet only. We would not have chosen this hotel had we known as we do not like this kind of service. In the end we ordered a pizza which was served to us at the table. The online checkin to save time did not save us time!
