Hotel/room was fine even tho it was a good 15 min walk to the center of town, Check in was fine But the staff were running reception bar and restaurant. There was no till at the bar so every time a drink was bought the staff had to go to the restaurant till, we witnessed several customers either waiting for change while the staff were waylaid by other people or just waiting to be served while the staff went off and attended to something else. Breakfast was very good but during the busy time not enough room around the main food area so everyone was bumping into each other and being school holidays kids were running around & pushing in which made it even more difficult to serve yourself. Would we stay there again yes but not during school holidays

First time in Oviedo and I thoroughly enjoyed the visit. Ibis staff very friendly and helpful, well located for visiting the coast. I think the breakfast was one of the best I’ve had at an Ibis hotel.

The place was very clean and friendly and the staff was very helpfull at all times. I thougth the food at the restaurant was expensive and poor quality and not much of a seleccion. But I have no doubt that I will stay in the hotel on my next visit.

« Good overall but food not good value. »

The hotel was very good overall, as I've found with other IBIS hotels. However, the food and service at this hotel was lacking. I had a small dish of penne bolognese and the waiter told us he didn't have any Permesan cheese - or indeed any cheese at all. Surely most people have hard cheese on pasta dishes, don't they? The same goes for pepper. Apparently the restaurant has only one pepper mill, but that was broken when we were there. These two things, together with the quite small amount of food for almost 10 euros, made it unsurprising that no-one else was in the restaurant.

Excellent hard-working staff trying her best in a truly terrible hotel. Many problems in a very unpleasant room which should never have been passed as suitable for clients. How can a hotel be run as badly as this? We have stayed in many Accor hotels all over Europe. All have been good to excellent. This was an awful exception.
