Although my recent stay, it was short but truly lovely.I enjoyed the comfort of the room and the services.Sofitel has been second home for me over the last 5 years.I have noticed so much improvement over the years.Hotel staff are very friendly and comforting.As during my several stays in Sofitel I am on a business trip and I require some assistance with printings and online services staff/host in conceirge Fatima always have been essential help to sort out all of my printing and needs which creates more relaxed free stay during those busy times.I would like to thank Fatima for all of her help and services that she provides with a big smile in my every stay in Sofitel! Phone system not working. Bed was bent to both sides , probably broken. We asked for a power outlet adapter 3 times and no reply ( unacceptable for an international hotel in a capital city) Price is extremely high for the quality

« Pleasant Stay, Absolute Best Staff, Needs Some General Maintenance Attention »

First and foremost, I always enjoy my stay at Rabat Sofitel because of the sincere staff and comfortable rooms. Guest relationship manager Miriam always ensures the best for the customers and goes out of her way to ensure complete satisfaction. I have had some room maintenance issues and she always comes to the rescue. Great job and very professional, Miriam is a valuable asset to the management team and will excel in future promotions. As well, the relationship desk with Hasnaa and others are always very courteous and helpful. Club Millisime staff are always a pleasure to visit when I take breakfast in the mornings. Nadia, Khadija, Mona, and others are very polite and a pleasure to chat with. In particular, Nawal in the main dining breakfast area is always smiling and happy to greet you. Nawal and Nadia are some of the best servicing staff I have had the pleasure to dine. The Sofitel is the best hotel in Rabat, the rooms are nice, with heated towel racks, and marble flooring. The beds are very dreamy and comfortable. There are however some issues with general maintenance. I have stayed in about 8 different rooms in the last 2 years and anything from lighting issues, unnecessary stains on upholstery, air conditioning/heater and hot water issues have been observed. As nice as the hotel is, I would think some extra attention to general maintenance (do an inspection and note discrepancies) would have warranted a 10 rating. The Spa is wonderful with Ijlal taking good care of you. The gym needs to be updated. Pool and garden area are very beautiful. Security guards and concierge very professional. Great place to stay!!!!! Good job.

I really appreciated the room and the Club Millesime. The excellence of the service I apprsiate the outside and inside swimming pool . The inside swimming pool should open till 21h. Please don't choose 19h to 20H for the aqua gym courses. This make the pool unavailable for hotel guests.

« This is an elegant, well-run hotel that I enjoy frequenting when I am in Rabat. It is the only place that I stay in Rabat. »

The room was fantastic, the food was incredible (especially the Moroccan food), the gym was well equipped and clean. Ms. Karen Ohayon and her staff have always gone out of their way to make my time in Rabat comfortable and lovely. I owe her a great deal for working so hard to make things just right when I am at the Sofitel.

« Missing reservation Condescendant staff. Very unhappy experience »

Arrived from Paris on Sunday night at 1am to be told my reservation could not be found. Reservation was made 1 month ago and credit card number was sent to hotel at the hotel request. To me, when a credit card nbr is required AND SENT TO HÔTEL to garanty a reservation at the hôtel request,then the RESERVATION IS CONFIRMED and I do not have to worry any more. Otherwise why send credit card details. Worst of all is the condescending attitude of hotel staff upon check in trying to put the blame on the client. By magic a room could be found at the end (when I was told the hotel was completely full) but at a higher rate and just got one night (prolonged for another night the following day AFTER I was asked to pack everything to unpack everything a few hours later). Was that just a trick to squeeze more money from a customer ? You might wonder. For the remaining 2 nights I had to find another hotel and leave the conference hotel. Meaning meetings with clients that could not be honored, long and expensive taxis rides and lost time. Frankly, a very unhappy experience not expected from a SOFITEL hotel. The experience will not be renewed from my side for sure. I just enrolled in ACCOR program 3 weeks ago. I guess my ACCOR experience ends here. Christian G. Founder Airsource Partners

Good accommodation, food and gym facilities. The greatest assets that Sofitel has though is its staff. Hasnaa YASSINE at Guest Relations was particularly helpful.
