« Frustrating. »

Although everyone on the staff (and I encountered many in my brief stay) were friendly, professional and very apologetic, my stay was very frustrating. At check in (I had made my reservation weeks in advance) I was told the only room available with a “view “ was on the 4th floor. That’s a view of the abandoned, falling down building across the street. Then, It took almost one hour, of my pleading in person at the front desk, to get a wine glass and a bottle opener because there weren’t any in the room. The following morning when I turned on the coffee machine it blew out all the electricity in the room. Again very apologetic personnel but no coffee until I pleaded with the manager who needed me to write a signed explanation in order for him to comp me 2 cups of coffee. This was my stay at your hotel from 10 PM until 7 AM when I checked out.

« Better the first night than the second »

The room the first night I stayed was clean and luxurious. The second night, the room was dingy, the towels and robe were threadbare, and we had no card to order breakfast. When we requested a breakfast card, we were told we had to go to the lobby to get one. The bed was strongly slanted to one side, so I kept rolling into my companion.

« Fine, but could be better. »

The three best things about our stay were: 1) all members of the staff were truly amazing. 2) the breakfast buffet is worth every penny. 3) the spa services are great. We got a room with great views, but the room itself needs upgrade. All in all, we look forward to staying here again and would recommend it to our friends.

« The experience was underwhelming and did not reflect value for money. »

I arrived at the hotel at night only to be informed that my reservation had not been confirmed yet there was an email from the agency confirming reservation based on some email exchanges with the hotel. The hotel declined to grant an agency rate even though I was staying there on the account that we were having a full day workshop at the same facility the following day. The rack rate was not value for money as the room was basic, not spacious and aging facilities - not upgraded since I last stayed there 5 years ago!

Service minded hotel in an excellent location. The food was top-notch. Rooms were a little small, but well-maintained by daily housekeeping. We will definitely come again on the next trip to Morocco today at this hotel. The only suggestions for improvement-and these are not major matters- would be to have weights that were lower geared for women, for example hand weights of 3 and 5 pounds. Also, the shower power was not very strong for heat.

« Beautiful accomidations, delightful, helpful staff, good location. What more is there? »

It was excellent. One days excursion, after a heavy rain, I came back with very muddy shoes. I asked for an old rag or something to clean them, but no, they took my nasty shoes & cleaned them for me. So nice. We did have a bad experience with a waiter in the main restaurant, it was all taken care of, to our satisfaction at the front desk.
