« Good but could do a little bit better...... »

The accommodation and food was good. However, I wish there could be room service!!!! Also, the dinner introduced was not that encompassing, considering that people come there from all walks of life and different countries. I really wished I could communicate with the room attendants in English!!! Invest in them by training them basic English.... not all guests speak French.

Staffs are very helpful and friendly. Butt room got quite strong smell of mold. I trust you need maintenance for this. If so the stay will be even more Pleasant one.

« Good but not as the same level as IBIS KOREA where I stayed just two months ago »

People in reception don't explain you what you can see in the City even they don't have a map. They ask by telephone to a guide to go to the market. He take us in a taxi outside the hotel and take us to the market where the guide is very friendly of the seller. Too much money.

This is my 3rd stay at the Ibis/Novotel complex in 2018. I have found location and service very good. The FD staff is always professional while being pleasant and helpful. Room/pool services are also good. The mini-restaurant at the Ibis is what it is for the price paid. THE one item I think I found … confusing/troubling is the issue of drinks/food vouchers … if an Accor FF person, you are handed a drink coupon that is not specific as to what you can use it for. Also, as you are able to use the Novotel and Ibis bar and restaurants and charge it to either, the use of coupons is … confusing ("Yes, you can use your Ibis voucher it at Novotel" said Ibis...but "No, you cant use the Ibis coupon here"... This is one proporty (yes, two buildings and two price points)… but a as a guest, please be more specific.

« I will stay at Ibis Dakar again, it is good value for money for a better than average experience. »

The Ibis Staff were very good and accomodating, for example they were happy to extend the check out time since the Hotel was not completely fully booked at that point. It was also good to be able to use the facilities shared with Novotel like the pool, rest area and restaurant. However, the service at the outdoor restaurant at Novotel was not consistent and it seems to me guests were not treated equally in terms of courtesy and service, this was disappointing and made the stay not as good as it could have, I think it was a management problem, but Ibis was excellent.

« stayed again »

in general was satisfied, however I asked for another towel the morning after my arrival, and I did not get it. I only stayed for two nights and the towel was not changed, or if it was, it was not noticeable. The manager is nice and friendly, as is all the staff, but I suspect, the communication skills in English are poor. and I do not speak a word of French, unfortunately.

The Ibis is well situated and has some great amenities by being connected to the Novotel, which has a great restaurant and often live music. The hotel was clean and breakfast was nice, if a bit crowded.

Room is clean and well arranged, service is enthusiastic, and the facilities in the hotel are pretty good. However the room is a little bit small and not well ventilated. Since the hotel is located near the sea, it is necessary to have a good ventilation for each room to reduce the humidity in the room.

there was no trash bins in the room which is very bad, also the room was not clean and ther were a lot of ants coming out from all over the woden areas near the bed and the shelfs.

The floor of the room was extremely dusty, there was a film of dirt on the hairdryer . I asked for an additional towel .. nodoby showed up. I suggest to put at least a complementary bottle of water (hide it in the cost of the room if is too expensive). I do understand is a low cost hotel but that was too much.
