« Disappointment with Novotel Nathan Road »

Have stayed in Novotel Nathan Road more than once, but this trip in December 2018 has been by far the most disappointing for me, and also in my history of staying in Accor hotels in the region. Had provided feedback to the hotel management regarding two matters.(1) The internet connectivity and speed within the hotel rooms on the Executive Floors were terrible. As a business traveler, internet connectivity and speeds are critical for work productivity, and this time around the speeds had been really poor.(2) Concerns on room cleanliness when I found I had some body rashes, which I suspected it was from the bed. I had provided an email feedback to the hotel management, of which I had received an acknowledgement reply but heard nothing else from the hotel. This is in stark contrast to the other Accor hotels I've stayed in, where feedback (good or bad) are reviewed and responded to on a prompt basis.I have waited for around 10 days before submitting this feedback as I've lost patience and my confidence. Once again, this has been disappointing and I'm reconsidering my accommodation options when staying in HK for business in future.Why the 3/5 rating then? Because I give credit to the fact that my previous stays in this hotel has been pleasant, and the hotel does not deserve a low rating. Failure to take loyal guests seriously however would mean future reviews (if any) would not be as positive.

Unfortunately not great. Many staff did not speak any English. But the biggest problem was that I was charged for items that I never used from the mini bar! Including a condom which I found offensive to suggest that I had used that item! Your housekeeping staff made an error in this, and charged my credit card! I am still waiting for the charge to be reversed.

From the time we arrived in the check in, this hotel is very family orientated, small Novotel gift animals, and play toys help to keep our little one happy while I checked in for the family. Very pleasant stay. Clean rooms, attentive staff and a superb location. TST is a 10 mins away. 5 mins to Jordan mtr. 1km to Kowloon Park and loads of food oppt at temple street. There is convenience store, restaurant with good tim sum right downstairs the hotel.

out of all the places I've stayed in Hong Kong, this was the best in my opinion. Staff went out lf their way to ensure i was happy/satisfied. Rooms were clean, food was great, drinks at the bar was cozy and all staff was observant to ensure everything was going perfect. Only bad thing i had experienced was loud talking people in the hallway but it was briefly. more than likely it was a guest passing by heading to their room or elevator....other than that the stay was very good.
