I stayed here for business on Tuesday night, wasn't told when I booked that the hotel foyer/reception was undergoing renovations. Wasn't a huge issue as I arrived late and left early, but I still think this should have been communicated. I booked on line, but had to call the hotel direct to book a colleague in also, so would have been the perfect time for them to tell me.

I was upgraded to a superior room from a standard room with 2 queen beds. I heard upgrade & excitedly agreed. Worse decision i could of made. The room had 2 tiny single beds whixh were extremely hard & unconfortable. An upgrade should be a positive expereience not the opposite. Worse sleep Ive ever had!! Very disappointed.

I understand a Standard Queen room was originally booked with 2 queen beds and our reception team advised you of an upgrade to our Superior King room with 2 king singles prior to arrival? I apologize that you felt this room was not an upgrade and the beds were 'hard and uncomfortable'. Bed comfort is a combination of personal taste and individual needs and it is difficult to provide the perfect bed on all occasions. It's disappointing to read about your experience as we're usually highly praised for bed comfort in this room type. I will retain your feedback and provide to purchasing for future evaluations. We firmly advocate for our guests to reach out to us if they do encounter a problem in live time to allow us the opportunity to make amends, it is not pleasant for either our guests or us to fall short of expectation. Understand that you are renovating but prior notice would have helped. Jack hammer noise until 6pm that vibrated up to the 3rd floor

Upon investigation of your experience, we found an anomaly with our procedure for contractors which enabled a breach of the 4.30pm curfew. We have addressed the issue with the contractors and reinstated procedures to ensure it will not reoccur. I am so sorry for the disruption, I appreciate this does not help your experience however I can prevent inconvenience to future guests. We only really used the room , were a little disappointed that there weren't extra towels left in the room and no shower cap for my wife, Overall the room was clean and everything worked well The Accor membership certainly didn't assist with anything and wasn't even acknowledged on arrival , unlike other hotels i've stayed at around the world. I also thought ( maybe wrong but on arrival i was expecting a bottle of champagne , i thought a read that in the booking , again i might be incorrect , but if correct that wasn't available

We have stayed here a number of times and always enjoy our stay. We had the buffet breakfast and were a little disappointed that all of the hot food was cold.

The hotel was very adequate, but there are some renovations going on, with the associated noise, and disruption around reception. To be fair, the noise was only during work hours, and the staff were very friendly

Was a little disappointed that it was under renovation and had no idea about this at time of booking. Also room 202 needs a new latch as it could be opened once it was closed. Latch didn't pop out properly.

I wanted a relaxing night alone away from the kids, watching some tv. However the Tv had barely anything to watch or the options to buy extra movies. The music channel didnt work, so it was a bit boring for me, not sure ill do this again. There was also hair bands on the ground, so its possible the floor cleaning wasnt done well.

I travel to Adelaide regularly for business. First time at the Rockfort. The hotel is located in a convenient area and appeared to have a good rate. They are doing some renovations at the moment so reception is in the bar area temporarily. Was met with a friendly and helpful staff. The room was a pleasant surprise at their nightly rate. Very roomy and comfortable. Unfortunately I was near the lift and could hear it run all night. Otherwise, perfect for a short business stay. My only complaint is that breakfast and incidentals were expensive and a bit average. I ended up paying a similar amount per day as I normally pay in one of the more luxury hotels. I would stay here again but would likely choose one of the other city hotels when they offer a good corporate rate.

I was not made aware that my stay would be impacted by renovations taking place. I would have chosen a different location. On arrival the room on the second floor was well presented however the refrigerator was not functioning. The faulty refrigerator was not rectified until the following day. No alternative was offered. No available parking, however, reception was very helpful and arranged alternative parking which was satisfactory. It can be a little noisy late into the evening due to revellers but not too inconvenient.

To be honest, it was V in your reservations team who made our group booking absolutely smooth and seamless. Nothing was a bother and he went above and beyond in his service to us. We will definitely book all our future accommodation at the Rockford. Great location. Lovely meals. No, the meals were amazing, high five to the chef!! Full of flavor and taste. Quality and quantity was great.
