I’m a regular client of the Sofitel Bahrain since 2016 and I always found in the hotel the excellent professionalism, kindness and warm welcoming since the first day. Despite the innumerable changes that the sector crisis forced, for sure related with the decreased number of clients due to the Qatar ban, Sofitel Bahrain preserved the excellence level. A special word for the dining that has which has excellent ambassadors, with Chefs of great quality.

The beach NYE party was nice however the food was not that good. The band, DJ, fireworks and drinks were great but don’t be cheap next time with the food.

« Not so happy given that i'm dealing with a world-wide known prestegious hotel. »

It was weird. It didn't meet my expectations. Some incident happened that ruined our enjoyment. 1. We were told (verbally) when reserving that the room will host two adults and a kid. We rented two rooms for 4 adults and 2 kids but at check-in they said no it's only 2 adults.! we requested an additional bed they wanted to charge us for it. The funny part is that out of dissatisfaction I told the agent on the reception that I wish I can cancel this reservation, he replied "Sir, you are free to cancel but we will not give you any refund".!! 2. The pool restaurant showed us a menu with prices. when we came to pay, the prices he had in the bill are different than the prices he showed me. When i asked why he said we didn't update our menu yet.!! 3. We paid extra for the room to attend the new year event. when we went to the event, they seated us in the farthest table in the corner next to the wall and next to the drinks serving table. we couldn't see the stage and we didn't enjoy the night. It was the worst new year eve we ever had. Bottom line, we'll never repeat it to Sofitel again.

Big thanks to the hotel crew. Especially Mr. Ezzat. I had some issues at the beginning, but after I sent to them, they fixed the situation which made our stay PERFECT. The rooms are clean. The location is a little far from everything in Bahrain. But this is why I chose it to be far from anything else. I will go back again to this hotel for sure.

Lovely night away from our 2 young children. The reception staff were welcoming and were very accommodating to my request for any special extras. Thoroughly enjoyed tapas down by the sea. Excellent service again. Breakfast was great and leisurely. 24 hours away and worth every fil!!!!

« Luxurious room in a 5 stars hotel.. I don't think so! »

When I booked this Luxurious room in Sofitel. I was hoping to feel this. However, having a 2 stars minibar, 2 sugar bags already teared off. Noisy bed. The room was cold in the winter without a mean for warming it up. I heard all the noise from the people through the door. When I checked out, they brought the car and left my belongings for me to put them in my car myself! Good that I found someone who helped me. So dissapointed. What I liked was the view, the breakfast and that's it!
