When i book the hotel through, there were no option to stay for 1 or 2 people. When i reached the hotel, they charged 2k extra for another person. Which not expected from Novotel.

The mattress was very hard, I ended up with back ache. I specifically asked for moisturizer in the room, I was promised that it will be kept and was never done. This was my repeat stay and now I am not sure if I want to come back again. The only saving grace was Ritu at the square who always takes care of my needs of food and drinks. Please pass on my spl thanks to her.

I always stayed in Gateway and this is my first stay in Novotel. rooms are good but Gateway is more equipped. this includes the accessories provided gateway is more, they also provide cotton, bathing brush etc. Also breakfast at gateway includes varieties of items. People serve in gateway restaurant are more welcoming than Novotel.

This has been my 2nd visit to this place. I would say its a home away from home. Clean rooms, professional service and friendly face all around ready to help ! There were two incidents that I would like to bring to attention. I reached the restaurant for breakfast by 10:15 and immediately I was asked by the manager to take whatever I would like to take as they are closing. He also said that the breakfast time is only till 10 and asked who have the info as till 10:30. It’s in the menu card and in the other pamphlets kept in the room and also said by the receptionist while checking. Second is about the availability of lotion, dental kit and shaving kit (though there is a message that it has to be asked) and slipper in the room. I’m surprised that I need to ask for these as I didn’t expect these things to be asked in a star hotel. I have stayed in many hotels and sometime 2 star hotels keep all the mentioned things above except the slipper. This was quite an experience.

Stayed in Novotel OMR for 9 days, Greetings from Staffs (Mr.Prashanjit, Mr. Antony) and other were more friendly, Couldn't recollect the staffs name, but all were friendly. Even the Room stay was very good. Food taste was awesome, cant be compared with any other hotel, All the food were mouth watering taste, and appetizing. I will definitely stay here during my next visit

Overall I found this hotel to be good, as the facilities, cleanliness, service, ambiance/atmosphere is great. However, personally I had few not so great experience with restaurant for initial couple of days, which was greatly accepted to correct and next 5-6 days were great, as I was given very personalized attention and very genuine efforts were put in by the restaurant staff as a course-correction. For this, I should say that they got my trust back!

A very nice hotel manned by warm and caring staff. We had an excellent weekend thanks to all the staff at this hotel. Hard to point any particular person as we were warmly greeted and served by the reception, bar man, restaurant managers and the duty manager. We had planned to visit Mahibalipuram during the weekend and this hotel was ideally located for us. Would love to come back to enjoy the hospitality of the staff.

The hiccup happened at the first instance, i wanted to relax for a while as i was jet lag, when i enquired about the swimming pool, they said its under construction & they said they can take me to near by hotel which is 7kms far, however on the website it was mentioned its working. Secondly the room which i selected, as per description Bathtub should be available however even that wasn't there. Overall my initial impression wasn't as expected. Lets not propagate something if its not available. Honestly i should have been asked for some compensation for this miss.
