Beds were comfortable and rooms clean. Did have some problems with hot water and was moved twice until we got a room with hot water - staff were very apologetic and were a great help in getting us moved from room to room. Buffet breakfast was ok but food did sit for a while and got dry; Buffet dinner was lovely. We stayed in Xian at Grand Mecure Renmin Square and the rooms were nicer and food amazing so bit disappointing there isn't the consistency between hotels.

As a beijing center city 4 star hotel, It is a well location and good facility place to stay,I stayed 4 days that the staff were friendly and service were also nice, I appreciate reception and concierge person who helped me alot of things. Breakfast are fine and worth to try in chinese restaurant downstair, I will stay with GRAND MERCUE next time.

Cleaning bedroom but not sufficient tidy job in bathroom. Could be improve the double bed size (bigger) and the mattress ( harden) . I love the breakfast buffet in Accor hotel. I always to reserve to my first choice.

Room is tidy and clean, although aged hotel, the facility remains in good condition. Was pushed to check out when receive the phone call at 11:30am. FO female staff who helped check out with cold face, no smile and eye contact. Only this female staff at Front Desk during noon peak hours, maybe that's one of the reason.

The staff in this hotel were really helpful and the location is good.....close to main attractions and the metro system. Whilst the hotel does not have the most modern appointed bedrooms, they were clean, comfortable and had all the facilities required.

I you are need to be in this part of Beijing, I'd recommend the Mecure. Clean, hospitable and excellent staff who care about their guests. And the food is very good, whether you are eating local or Western cuisine.

Very near the subway, 3 minutes walk and the line 2 is the best line for most of the atractions. The hutongs near the hotel were very interesting. We made 2 day trips bought from the hotel concierge and the trips were absolute worth the price. The internet connection was poor but Guess it's not to blame the hotel. The massage to be purchaced downstairs at the Spa was great.

Very central location, ideal for hanging around in the shops, two metro stations within walkable distance, very polite and helpful staff. Everything was great. The hotel manager, Dennis, is a very pleasant gentleman, who does his job very well. I am very thankful for being able to leave my luggage at the hotel all day, upon checking out and use the showers, when I went to collect my luggage, before making tracks to the airport. I will definitely try to book the same hotel on my return to Beijing. My only point of criticism is wrt the windows in my room. They didn't close hermetically, therefore the air quality in the room, was as bad as outside.
