Service rendered by both Angel Ban and Yang ShouHua has both been exceptional. Especially Angel Ban, who despite the only person to handle the club check in and the break fast at the same time, is commendable. I seriously think you should have someone at least assist her during the breakfast. Albeit, from a business travel perspective, it is rather disappointing. Before I came, I heard feedback of the lousy WiFi experience in the hotel, I thought maybe the management had rectify it. To think that China has launched 5G and your WiFi’s in Hotel is less then satisfactory. I hope you will work on it and make the experience more holistic. I wish you and your team continuous success.

Brief tourist trip in Beijing. Hotel was comfortable and an easy stay. Check in seamless breakfast was good, buffet dinner not so great but staff were helpful.

I have been here many times, the main reason of choice is that the locations is convenient to our office and the price-performance is OK. Rooms are clean and large, breakfast is not very good. WiFi is slow, but tolerable. Air conditioning is laud, I prefer not to use it.

The hotel room was nice enough but the desk seat was pealing, sheets ripped and tv had to be replaced in our two night stay

The room was old and run down, bedside lamp was not working, study chair was worn and tattered. Asked for iron and board, the ironing surface was dirty and it stained my white business shirt. Overall a shocking experience for a Grand Mercure outfit. The room rate was exorbitant given the room that was assigned to me. This property really needs a major upgrading in order to attract return customers. The hotel internet was as good as not providing the wifi service. It was almost impossible to log on. And if logged on, experienced drops n disconnections.

The great location enabled us to get around with ease as it is in between to Metro lines. It is also within a short car ride to Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City. Staff was friendly, making up the rooms looked a little tired.

Given a non-smoking room but the room smelt strongly of cigarette smoke. Checked in at 1150am but was only given a room at about 1230 as cleaning was not completed

Pleasant stay

Everything was perfect, although they should have more people who speak English. The condition of the room was very good, well maintained. The housekeeping did their job very well. Always tidy, clean and they never forgot to refill the tea/coffee. The location of the hotel is quite closed to 2 metro station. It's also near shuttle bus stop number 2 from the airport, Xidan stop.

I was very impressed by the way in which I was welcomed back to the Grand Mercure Beijing. As a platinum Accor member, I was made to feel like a very special guest ... nothing seemed too much trouble for the staff. Reception was very helpful with check in/check out arrangements and helping to secure a restaurant reservation. My suite was perfect - i wish I could have stayed longer than just one night. The concierge was also very nice and arranged taxi bookings for me using his own booking app. One issue I had was connecting to the hotel wifi. My phone never managed to connect for the entire stay which was unfortunate. I look forward to returning to this hotel the next time I’m in Beijing. Thank you Dennis Oldfield, Dominic Sun and team for making my stay so comfortable.
