Had supper the evening I arrived and Breakfast the next morning. Both were excellent. Food was great and service was great. Room was clean but small. Shower had no hot water, and poor water pressure.

Toilet was dirty.

1. The food wasn't good enough. 2. Also, left overs from the launch buffet was carried forward to the evening buffet without any changes. For a guest that lives in your suites who relies solely on your meals, its disappointing. 3. The staff lack the wow factor in service delivery.

Here are some aspects that I enjoyed: Warm, friendly, responsive, and welcoming staff. Food is delicious and accommodates varying needs. Three things to improve: 1. The elevator closes too quickly. It's an inconvenience. 2. The air conditioning in the room didn't keep it cool enough. 3. Perhaps, the rooms need an upgrade. There is only one electric plug to use. For someone using multiple devices, it can be insufficient.

The TV channels is prodominantly french languages. NO ENGLISH. The WIFI only work a night. No explanation was tendered.

Air conditioner wasn’t working so room wasn’t cool. TV was old and room was smaller than expected.

Never staying at Ibis Hotels again

Harrowing experience right from the moment of checkin at Ibis Cotnou, with the staff demanding payment even before I checked in. Hotel Front desk manager Luc Assisouh, deliberately made a prepayment on Credit card for the whole duration of stay, inspite of my assurances that I have already registered my card on their website. The limit on my card was blocked for additional one week after checking out of the hotel. The card machine does not work at the hotel and I was forced to make a payment in cash due to which I incurred additional charges. Overall an extremely poor experience.
