I stay for 3 days last week from 7 - 9 August 2019z The hotel is clean and the breakfast menu is not so complete but the taste is good. Unfortunately the swimming pool is too small and the car park is outdoor so it is a little bit difficult when you bring a lot of baggage to your room. Overall I was satisfied stay in this hotel and probably will choose the same hotel when I have business in jakarta.

I was billed in billing difference due to laundry fees at room, this disturbed my convenience (As if I would run away from responsibility so billing is done as soon as possible needed). Management should be wiser, that is to pre-communicate via telephone or letter as a notification about bill info. I think the billing recap can be submitted during the check-out process and that seems wise.

The pool is too small for an adult to swim. It would be better if Mercure can make it bigger.

I Stay during earthquake. Comment for Evacuation only: 1. There was NO EVACUATION ALARM. In Some place they activated Evacuation Alarm. 2. I stay in Room 1403 and I didn't hear any evacuation announcement. 3. I went down, only because my friend contact me and inform that they in the Muster Point. 4. I still can use the Elevator that actually I don't know safer or not.

I've stayed in Mercure Simatupang several times since 2016 and I've seen the standards of quality decreasing: my last stay I had to make comments about bed sheets (some cigaret burnt dots on it), massage quality (first time I've to complain about it), the policy about not using plastic straws while they give it to you automatically for each juice (even advertised in the elevator...), the pickup service at airport is outsourced to a company with poor customer service... I chose this hotel because it was close to my office in Jakarta, next time I'll go further in another hotel.

It was a family staycation purpose. All went as per expectation except the pool is really small and in the same area as the bar. However breakfast and dinner was variative with food. Perhaps the lunch can be held in buffet scheme like breakfast and dinner Staff were nice and welcome
