We (3 people) arrived without booking and the staff were extremely helpful to accommodate to our needs and requests. One of the rooms had some noise and when asked to change to another room, the staff did change promptly. Excellent breakfast. A pity we couldn't stay longer to enjoy all of its offering!

Good Hotel with slow Internet and meal service

The hotel is near from the airport. The pool is very good and heated. The staff is very kind. The room is ok. The internet is slow specially during the night and the meal service normally takes about 20 to 30 minutes to have your plate ready.

Always the same issues

Novotel Porto Alegre is very well located and overall good service. But there always have the same issues: card to access the room stop working and the access to the parking lot is a mess. At the parking lot there is no procedure: sometimes you have a card, sometimes a paper, sometimes nothing... and it takes like 5-10 min to get in /get out. It can be not too much, but is boring. I have evaluate to book the Hotel again regarding those both recurrent problems.

Overall I had an excellent stay, happy with the room, breakfast and front desk staff. Only suggestion is to have the staff provide clearer instructions for the airport shuttle pick up point, I had troubles finding out where to go. Thank you.

I have no complaints as such and overall the experience was very positive. I did feel uneasy in communicating with the staff in english. The check-out process was rather slow and it seemed to me that the staff tried to avoid addressing me as they probably felt uncomfortable using english. Also the waiting staff in the restaurant seemed to have trouble processing our order for the same reason.

We are in a group and a lot of people found cockroaches in their bedroom. Besides it, the towels had hole even if it was cleaning don´t have a good impression.
