I'm a heavy frequent traveler and, honestly, this was one of the best experiences ever: friendly and quick assistance, beautiful, spacious, silent, clean, and cozy room; extremely comfortable bed, linens, and pillows; wonderful bathroom in every aspect; very nice lobby, restaurant, and bar. Fantastic, indeed!

It was ok, the bed was awesome but the shower needs some maintenance. The room was quiet, breakfast was average. Staff super friendly. So all in all it was ok but if I needed a similar stay in the future I would probably try one of the other hotels around the airport before booking Novotel again.

« Need more attention, hotel had better service. »

Bad experience during my staying, first night the bathroom was under rework and totally unusable, which result in changing room, second day the room was not cleaned, third night at the hotel restaurant the waiter forgot our order and after 1,5 hours we receive some food.

« Excellent Hotel »

The Hotel is 2 minutes from the airport in a very good location over looking the airport. The rooms are modern and quiet with good linen and great pillows. Very clean rooms with a good size bathroom and large shower. Cable TV with English chanels. Stay very comfortable and staff friendly and helpful with good English.

Restaurant was slow, noisy and just one waiter was friendly. I made web check in (silver member) and The time needed at the reception was as long as without web check in Good bed and room size, nice quiet room, good rest quality!!!! I really appreciate that

« Great Hotel, terrible transfer experience !! »

Hotel is great, we arrived to stay overnight for an early morning flight (04AM). We used the swimming pool with our kid (baby of 1 year and 10 months). The Cod was placed at the room prior to our arrival as requested but it had a big dent on the matress, so we dissasembled and used ours (luckly we had with us). The real down point was the transfer service. After we arrived and we went to drop the Rental car at the aiport, it was said that we needed to call a number to pick us up, they even gave a card to us for that. Number called and they said, five minutes the car will be there. After 5 minutes, I called again and re confirmed the place where I was... Aiport terminal 2, and they confirmed that in 5 minutes (again) car would be there. 30 minutes later.. no Car.. So what do I do.. I walk from the airport to the hotel. When I get there I told the Manager about it, he explained that I needed to call and wait.. I told everything and he just apologized and life went on. Then it was time for us to leave the hotel at 04:30AM in the morning with our cases and a baby. When we get at the front desk they said. 10 Reais for both of us (Ok, not problem with that) and wait for 5 minutes and the car will be here to pick your family up (they even called the radio and spoke with the driver, which I heard). 5 minutes later, what happened ?? surprise.. No transfer yet and he called the driver on the radio and the message is ??!?! - In 5 minutes sir, Driver will be here... Please wait a bit more... Well, 5 minutes later (10 in total) I go to the front desk, as for the money back and go to the front of the hotel and I get a cab (myself) and I put all the suitcases into it, and get my family ready (I probably took another 3 to 4 minutes with all this - maybe less).. in any case, before I left at the Taxi paying the same amount of the Transfer to the aiport rate, not hotel driver arrived. As I said.. Great hotel, I have no complaints about the hotel, but the -3 score is specifically for the terrible transfer service which is offered as a great thing to everyone. and before I finish, I saw at the 1st issue I had I was not alone with the complaints to transfer service. Either the hotel needs to stop and charge Taxi cabs to it or keep advertsing until it get it right. I used a transfer service from a restaurant from Novotel and it worked flawlesly (and in less then 5 minutes !!) If you double check my name - Bruno Pereira de F. (Claudia is my wife)- you will see that I usually stay at Novotel at many places around the world. But this time the experience was really not a good one.
