« It was good but I'm disappointed with some basic things. »

The location was extremely good. My bathroom floor was wet and I had to dry it by my self. The floor bathroom carpet/towel was dirty. The common areas were awesome but Mercure must pay attention to be sure that the rules will be respected. There was a host with a doc station in the swimming pool area with a terrible and loud music. The steam room wasn't working well. In the breakfast there was a delay to substitute some items, the coconut water for instance... It was over and nobody replaces it. The employees were very polite. The lift queues were rediculous and the wi-fi connection was awful.

This hotel is not a good one , the bathroom was so smelly, the towels were not white ( looking dirty ) and the amenities were a joke ! For the price you charged , the quality wasn’t what I expected! You guys even charged for breakfast and my Expedia booking said it was included ! You also charged for the parking ! Sorry but we probably won’t come back

Rooms and cleaning staff impecable. Receptionist staff more than helpful. Amenities upkept to highest standards. One suggestion a few more towel hooks in bathroom and some sort of shelf between beds 2 and 3. Just for night pills or glass of water. Although I must say plenty of room to store suitcases, beach bags etc.

« Extremely friendly and supportive staff--but the noisy air condition as well as the bedding ruined the experience. »

Although the hotel is located in a fantastic location and employs staff that is extremely friendly and supportive, the noisy air condition unit in my room as well as the selection of pillows (which were hard and inflexible) prevented me from getting any sleep during my overnight stay. Most of the following day I still had neck and shoulder pain from trying to sleep on these unbelievable pillows. Apparently, my air condition unit wasn't unique since a colleague of mine, who also stayed at the hotel than night also mentioned that his room had a very noisy air condition unit. If it weren't for the air condition und extremely uncomfortable pillows, I would definitely stay at this hotel again--because its location as well as the unbelievably friendly staff.

Accomodation, service and breakfast okay, but horrible wi-fi which Did not for several times and when it did was very slow. One day cable tv was off for several hours. This is unacceptable for a 3.5-4.0 stars hotel.

Please improve: - Internet - so slow i was using my 3G network instead - elevators - I was stuck at the elevador twice. Usually takes about 5 min to the elevator to arrive

« Nice hotel »

Nice hotel, well maintained, prime location in Camboriu. Well maintained pools, both indoor and outdoor. Gym equipment in need of maintenance. The leisure area has restricted operating hours for no good reason. The two elevators were not ennouogh for the demand when I stayed there, leading to long waits every time they needed to be used. Valet service quite good, above the standard for Mercure hotels.

« I don’t think they care !! »

When walked into the room there was an odor of a room that had not been cleaned. I called the front desk they said the would send a maid to take car of it. We went out for a couple of hours. When we got back it smelled like an air freshener has been sprayed. I went to take a shower it didn’t work properly it didn’t spray it looked like a garden hose. I then sat on the end of the bed and the leg broke off. I called the front desk again and asked them to send someone up to check all these issues. When then man came up I stuck a dirty pillow under his nose and asked what he smelled. He said the pillow and the Linens smelled dirty like they had not been washed. At this point he finally suggested that he could change my room which they did. That room was slightly better smelling the shower didnt work well in that room either they had a plumber up to fix it. The air-conditioner barely kept room cool. And to top it all off the next day when I entered the room a piece of the door trim fell off and hit the ground. They sent someone out to fix that too so I had to sit there and listen to him banging nails into wood trim on my vacation. When I checked out I asked the woman at the desk if she spoke English and she assured me that she did. I asked her about all the problems I had and all she did was smile. When I asked her what she was smiling about she just continued to smile So I settled my billing and left figuring they obviously just don’t care. I paid close to $3000 Real for two rooms three nights for what was advertised as a four-star hotel. I have stayed In local hotels and motels that put this place to shame !!! Other than a beautiful location there’s absolutely no reason to stay at this hotel. I guarantee you that they will read this review and discounted as just a disgruntled hotel guest and it’s not true. Believe me when I tell you everything stated above is exactly what happened !!!!

« Prime location right in the middle of central beach »

Room was quite good, ample, airy and comfortable. Matress was excellent, firm yet cozy and no bumps. Lightning was very good as yellow light bulbs were used instead of white hospital like. Cleanleaness was top and Cristiana was a very attentive and good room maid leaving the room in perfect order and pajama perfectly placed. Car parking excellent and staff taking care of attentive and friendly. Breakfast very good and well organised.Fresh croissants werw a plus, fruit selection very limited. Restaurant at ground floor offered good value and dihes were delicious. On the downside, spa was a big letdown. I booked a bamboo massage and there was no one capable of delivering it. I had to cancel. Front desk staff was efficient but very distant and not very friendly. ,

It was a nice experience, hotel with a really good central location. The suit was clean and comfortable. I had a bad experience with wifi, it did not work at all. I have used my cellular data during the whole stay.
