Had to make an emergency trip back to Singapore due to visit my dad. He developed post-chemotherapy and post-surgury complications. He was transferred into ICU and was in critical condition. The past few days was a turmoil for myself and my family as my dad's heart did stopped but was thankfully resusitated by the medical team. We were always on standby for the worst to happen as his life was sustained heavily by life support machines and medications. I first shared my experienced with Rank followed by Dash in front office as I had a back to back booking as I was spending most of my stay at the hospital and could not personally come in to check in on the day of my back to back booking. The room is used mainly by my family members as a time off from the hospital to rest and refresh ourselves. Additional ammenities were organised immediately to help facilitate this process. The assistant FOM, Mr Simon Ho, had a card organised to provide support and encouragement to us. He helped us by contacting with the revenue team to help ease our financial load as the medical bills is taking a toll on us. Thank you Simon & the revenue team for doing this for us. I am currently still staying in-house as I have extended my booking. No words can fully describe the gratitude I have towards Mr Simon Ho, Dash, Rank, the revenue team and the entire ibis Bencoolen team (both front office and housekeeping) in making the hotel a place of refuge and comfort for us in this tough time. The good news is that a miracle did happened and my dad's condition turned for the better. Although he is still still in critical care, he is responding to treatment a lot better. Thank you ibis Bencoolen team for your compassion and professionalism.

Overall up to standard. But one complaint is that there was wrong amenity delivery to my room. A staff knocked on the door to deliver amenity apparently requested by other guest in the morning. This waked me up and was disturbing. Would suggest front desk to double confirm the room number with guest who is calling, and also confirm the number with the staff who is responsible for the delivery.

Location is great. Closed to many eateries and easy access to MRT and malls. All within walking distance. Room was clean and new. Only problem was with the hair dryer. It use it for only 10 secs and it gets overheated and turn itself off and you have to wait awhile for it to work again and then it does the same thing all over again. Room was big and not crampy. Had plenty of rooms to put our luggage down. We had 2 big luggages. Service was excellent. Check-in was fast and the frontdesk can help with all your question needs. There was also other benefits of staying in this hotel. Use of trolley so u can ownself push luggages up to and from the room. Use of self laundry machine which is very convenient.

2 MRT stations (Rochor DT13 and Bencoolen DT21) just nearby the hotel. And 2 bus stops in the front (or back) of the hotel makes the trips almost to everywhere are so easy, just grab your EZ-link card and get ready for a self-managed city tour on your own! Around 9 stops to Orchard Rd. the famous windows-shopping area in Singapore. Not to forget the shower gel with natural lemon extract, it is so refreshing after a day-long walk, very enjoying moment! Will stay at the hotel when we go to Singapore next time.

Used the online check in and on arrival, did not have to spend much time at the front desk filling out forms etc....fantastic!. Also, as an Accor member, the rooms were upgraded with additional facilities such as mobile phone, etc was done without asking. Also, we liked the initiative taken by Hotel to supply free water bottle with the option of both still & sparkling water.

Check in staff and concierge were very helpful and friendly, especially when requesting for help to store baggage. Rooms are spacious and bed is comfortable. One suggestion is for the breakfast team to give more space instead of quickly clearing tables as soon as food is finished.
