« I hated this hotel so much »

I like to visit the country becoz of the challenging walk provided. I want to burn fat & calories but the hotel gave me back those thingies....with a bag of Belgium chocolates & birthday cake by Paris Baguette on my B'day. Those surprising my family, not me. LOL! Thx a lot, Folks! for a tiring 7 nite straight stay. The Smell U do have the same for years since it was opened back in 2009. NB: please put back the vending machines with arrays of local common drinks, just put them in the laundromat room together with the new ice maker & drinking water dispenser in addition to the coin changer.

« Served our purpose »

The location was good, the staff were friendly and the room was clean. We stayed on Level 11 where the time it took for hot water to reach the shower or basin was amazingly slow. After waiting a while, and still no hot water I then turned on the basin too and waited another few minutes. With both taps running on full it still took a few more minutes before hot water finally arrived. This was a lot of wasted water which I didn't feel good about, though I hate cold showers.

It was nice. Nice room, nice stay. Not far from MRT station but not that near also. The room are not ready at 14.00. So we have to wait for 45 minutes.

First stay at Ibis Bencoolen. Chosen because of location. Clean & comfortable without frills. Friendly staff. Lunch ala carte service was a very bad experience. Arrival & departure required service push trolley for luggage. Zero concierge service.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable and we would stay again next time we are in Singapore. We did have one problem. Months before we stayed we booked a room with twin beds only to be told on arrival that there were no rooms with twin beds available. If we book twin beds we should get twin beds.
